Brooklyn—and specifically the Bushwick neighborhood—has had a long association with street art. On this walking tour of the area, you won’t just get to see dozens of highlight pieces: you’ll be shown the sights by a local artist. Discover the vibrant artworks curated by the Bushwick Collective, and explore the neighborhood as you go. You’ll also learn about street art’s history, and the genre’s different evolutions.
What to Expect
Although a bit under the radar, the district of Bushwick in the New York City borough of Brooklyn is home to some of the world's best street art. The Bushwick Collective and curator Joseph Ficalora have put together an outdoor art gallery with an incredible variety, and on this 1.5-hour walking tour, you'll discover the highlights.
Let an expert local artist take you around town, teach you about the history of graffiti, and show you the coolest local street art. Start with some of the early street artists like Blek Le Rat and Jef Aeroso, who were pioneers in the stencil game in the early 80s. Then move to Eelco Virus and Icy and Sot, new school graffiti practitioners. See over 20 walls from artists like Dasic, Nychos, Rubin, Damien Mitchell, and many more. You'll definitely be inspired, with a new appreciation for street art!

Fantastic tour!

Audrey was our amazing guide. She showed us some incredible pieces and taught us a lot about street art. We got some incredible photos and learnt a lot. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in street art.

You'd better book your tour before arriving in NYC. As for the meeting point, this was the weak point of the tour. They changed it at the last minute and we waited a while before they sent a cab to pick us up and drive us to... More
