- jenniferjH3683PU0 contributionsA Must Experience!I am pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD, and I usually have a had time being 100% present during tours. However, this tour kept my attention the entire time. Shannon’s amazing storytelling had me hooked. It was hands down the best tour I have ever been on. He really knows how to connect with his tour groups and represent the history of Savannah. He is making the ancestors proud. If you’re headed to town, do yourself a favor... watch Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and then book this tour.Written March 15, 2025
- Lori G0 contributionsBest Tour CompanyI cannot say enough about Shannon Scott Tours. The owner and all the guides are top-notch! On this trip, I scheduled multiple different tours through this company, and all the tours were incredible. The private Good and Evil “X” tour with Shannon was beyond amazing – a must do for Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil fans. Shannon’s knowledge of Savannah and everything Midnight related is extraordinary.Written March 9, 2025

- trufflecat0 contributionsGreat tourDespite the off and on rain, we had a great time walking through several of the beautiful Savannah squares. We stopped in front of many historic houses, and our guide explained the history and significance of each to the history of Savannah. Jenine (sp?) is a well-informed and charming guide, in full dress Victorian, no less. Definitely a worthwhile tour.Written February 15, 2025

- 556terril0 contributionsA ghostly good time in SavannahI have experienced Shannon Scott Tours a few times. This company never disappoints. Dr. Buzzard's Goodtime Ghost Tour is a great time. Our guide, Lady Lavinia, was fun and interesting. She was wonderful. I love getting a blend of historical facts along with spooky stories. Walking through the squares at night listening to haunted tales is eerie, but awesome. I love the added touch of the gris gris bag. Everyone needs one! Highly recommend this tour.Written February 5, 2025
- LoriLynn130 contributionsAmazing!Another wonderful tour offered by an amazing company. This tour has a bit of everything: history, mystery, intrigue, and ghost stories. Will definitely do the tour again on my next visit!Written February 5, 2025
- willothewisps0 contributionsA Good Time Ghost Experience Indeed!I've done some ghost tours in the past, and some haunted experiences as well in both New Orleans and Savannah, but this one takes the cake! Our guide, Janine, was well versed in all the haints and haunts that Savannah has to offer, and kept us engaged as we wandered over so much of the city. My friends and I visit Savannah frequently, but we still learned some things about downtown Savannah that we never knew before! We also enjoyed the little gift bags at the end - that was a really cool touch. Thanks Janine!Written February 3, 2025

When I was at Bonaventure Jessica recommended I checkout Laurel Grove. We arranged a tour of the cemetery. It is the same age as Bonaventure but has a much older feel. Jessica did a great job explaining everything, and mentioned that this place is not really well known. There are some beautiful statues and headstones, it's a shame more people don't get out there
One thing about solo traveling to this place I did have to buy two tickets to go by myself. It was however functionally a private tour for a great price.

It was enjoyable, getting to know more of the history of Laurel Grove Cemetery (North) as some of my relatives are also buried there. Discovering that local and nationally famous people are interred here was a plus! Jessica opened our eyes to the artwork, designs, love and history incorporated in the grave markers and entrances to mausoleums. An excellent tour and just a small portion of what this hallowed place is all about.

This was our second tour of Laurel Grove Cemetery through Shannon Scott Tours. Jessica is a well-informed tour guide! She gives you a little bit of everything from symbols to stories. Jessica did an excellent job connecting the information we learned from our Bonaventure Cemetery tour to the ties in Laurel Grove. We will definitely be back to explore again!

I reside in Macon, Georgia but am a regular traveler to Savannah, Georgia and have taken all of the ghost and cemetery tours to put it mildly and to the point where most of the guides and operators know me at least on sight and many by name. Yes, that obsessed with the place! So it had miffed me that no one was offering a daily tour in Laurel Grove Cemetery North and often voiced my dismay at the visitor centers and to various operators so it did my heart good to realize that finally there was indeed one I could take advantage of. Communication with Shannon Scott Tours was excellent and as I had taken their Bonaventure Cemetery Journey's tour several times prior, knew that I was in for a promising experience. I was certainly not let down by the experience if just because the tour was conducted by not one guide, but two, one of which was Shannon Scott himself along with Professor Richard Hodges. Both gentlemen met my family and myself at the front entrance and turned into a fascinating morning! Mr Hodges was definitely a Civil War buff and had taught the subject at college level in Georgia. He was a very formidable guide and entertained and answered questions well. Mr. Scott was there somewhat to do quality control and added information about the burial vaults and some of the other odds and ends characters that Mr. Hodges was unfamiliar with. It truly felt like a living classroom and other than a few city trucks parked nearby, we didn't see another single tourist soul in the place and very much had the place to ourselves! Laurel Grove is clearly the untapped well of history and other connectivity with this area and while Bonaventure does have all of the fame, I found that there are dimensions here that clearly stand above Bonaventure and frankly? People should see both places before claiming they've done Savannah!"

The Hidden Gem Cemetery Tour (Laurel Grove) was indeed a hidden gem! Paschel was very knowledgeable about the cemetery, cemetery symbolism, and the stories about the inhabitants. He was also very entertaining.

This is an amazingly beautiful and informative tour. A tad long if you have younger children along or if you have somewhere else to get to, but for those wanting to fill your afternoon, this is a must do.
Paschal is incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip very memorable for us.

Learned lots of Savannah history. Less pretentious than Bonaventure. Next door is the African American cemetary at Laurel Grove South - beautiful.

Wonderful to hear of your experience with us and appreciate your sharing with others. And yes, Laurel Grove South worth everyone's time to and so tragic that a highway called Connector would divide them up rather callously nearly a century ago but I suppose in that regard, we have two more great cemeteries to explore!
