We had a really nice cruise through the inner harbor. The weather was beautiful and it was a quiet and peaceful way to spend an hour on the water and it was a really unique way to see the city at twilight. Our particular trip wasn’t crowded at all, maybe 20 people aboard total, so we easily got our own table. We even got to stop in and meet the captain! I’d really recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Baltimore!
We had booked our tickets online, but a friend ended up joining us last minute and bought hers at the kiosk right at the boat launch, so either seems to be fine!

We really enjoyed this boat tour of the harbor. It was relaxing and the history provided was quite interesting. Hint: sit on the Starboard side on the top deck if weather permits. You really gain perspective about this city and the changes it has experienced as well as its place in US history.

A very nice sightseeing cruise!

This is a really nice sightseeing trip! Purchasing tickets online was easy and I was able to use a QR code for them so I didn’t have to print anything out.

The ship is very comfortable with nice shade at the top. The staff were friendly and pleasant.

I enjoyed the audio guide they play as you move around the Harbor. It had some interesting information and was well done.

Tour? What tour?

About one hour after I made and paid for the reservation (and three hours before the tour was to take place), the operator called me and told me that the tour was cancelled. They gave no reason for the cancellation (weather was perfect that day) so I can only assume that there were mechanical problems with the boat or not enough people signed up for the tour. In any case, I was left stranded without the tour I had planned to take. Since I had so recently made the reservation, it should have been declined at the time or rejected by the operator when it was sent to them for their approval.

What’s prompting my comments is the respectful and sensitive way the crew accommodated those that needed assistance …wheelchair/older lady. Safety was their primary concern.

The tour was a pleasant change of pace to walking around the city. Enough cruise time to recharge the battery.

This was a great adventure! It was a very easy process to book tickets online and pay for them. They had my name when it was time to board. We sat in sun, shade, walked around. The guided tour was great about Baltimore history. Wasn't too crowded.

Booked online for this 1 hour tour, as a treat for family visiting from UK. Booking went through fine for 2:30pm (June 12th) using this site. Arrived just after 2pm at inner harbor to board. Discover there is no 2:30 sailing - it took Spirit of Baltimore a good 20 minutes to transfer tickets to a later sailing - despite within 15 seconds they new there were spaces. They failed to inform me that that sailing was almost exclusively booked by a group of more than 100 teenagers on outing. Neither the teachers nor the ship crew made any attempt to control teenagers. Wasted a lot of time and money on a pointless trip - learned nothing about inner harbor as could not hear above the noise (including noisy teachers) - groups was from FAMS 2019. My dad spoke with one of them, but nothing achieved. All other adult passengers on board were disturbed constantly. Will not use ever again.

It is a nice tour from the water if you have never seen Baltimore inner harbor before. It basically went straight up the harbor then turned around and came back the same way. The recorded guide had good info. We got a Groupon for the cruise so it was better value. I wish it would have at least included 1 drink.

Not worth it
Its really an hour of my life I will never get back. The sight seeing was a disappointment. It is just a recording that drones on about various landmarks. We were really looking forward to learning about Baltimore. But this wasn't interesting. Also the ramp to get on and off the boat is insanely steep. This is by no means handicap accessible. The staff was nice enough and the boat is really similar to the ny ferries. Downstairs there's a dining room with very uncomfortable seats. The ny commuter ferry is actually more comfy.
