We love to segway in every city we possibly can and our experience was excellent. Our guide Ceyanay was attentive, knowledgeable and kept safety in mind the entire time. We maneuvered through streets, sidewalks, bridges and more to see the main hot spots in the city and she shared stories about the rich history and more. Excellent guide and excellent tour to see the city.

This was such a great family experience. Mike was a wonderful guide, extremely safe (he was great with maneuvering around double-parked cars and keeping us in the bike lane, etc.) Mike snapped some iconic pics of my family, and really went the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time and learned some fun facts about Philly. Definitely recommend this!

Barry lived up to his excellent reviews...such a class act. None of us had been on a Segway before; the lesson at the beginning and a bit of 1:1 for each of us was really helpful. Throughout the tour we were given a heads up what to do and what to avoid in order to stay safe. Our family as well as the other 4 people on our tour all did well. Barry's calm, controlled demeanor goes a long way to ensuring everyone's success.
We saw so much of the City and learned a lot of fun facts along the way. The earbuds were a perfect way to hear everything and the Segway definitely got more second nature as we went. Bring a solid pair of comfortable sneakers!
Parking is street only. We had 2 cars with us so one went into a Holiday Inn Express lot across the way for $20 when we couldn't find enough spaces. Noticed that the other folks on our tour walked in from somewhere else.
There are storage bags on each Segway if you have some belongings with you that you want to take along. There is a restroom at the shop but none along the way. Barry took pictures for us of all the sights and then air dropped them when we got back to the shop. That's one of the best parts about having a tour guide is not worrying about capturing everything and just enjoying the moment knowing the pictures are covered.
If you find yourself in Philly we highly recommend this outfit!

Segways were great and it should have been a really fun trip for our family with a teen. Unfortunately we had an inexperienced guide and it was not great. Here’s what happened on our trip:
1) Radios were used to hear the guide, but throughout the trip, but nearly all participants complained about not being able to hear. The radios my family had were so static-filled,
We caught about 50% of what was said.
2) Unfortunately, that was likely a blessing. I had hoped to learn about the history of the city and sights. The tour guide spent most of the time talking about opinions from her personal life, and very little about Philadelphia. I learned about the slave trade in the Caribbean, her Netflix habits, incorrect information about admission prices for things “we might want to plan to see”, her opinion that all world religions “are the same” after passing a church and not telling us why the church was significant to the city & we need to stop and befriend homeless so that we earn karma and they know we care. (I’m not sure it’s safe for my teen to stop and befriend strangers)
3) The day the tour was booked had an extreme heat advisory with a forecast of 100-105+ It was up to the participants to make sure we had enough water with us at the start of the tour, but no stops were made so that more water could be obtained or to drink the water we had. One family had someone get sick from the activity/heat. Tour guide didn’t know what to do and didn’t have extra water on hand. So dangerous.
4) At start of the tour, one of the participants almost fell off dodging oncoming traffic. Again, tour guide was flustered and group was told to “stick together”.
There is no way this inexperienced guide should have been out solo.

Favorite part was to learn how to ride a Segway. Of course it was a very informative tour. Our guide, Sarge, had a lot to share of his city, city of brotherly love. The weather was great and it was so different to ride the historic downtown on Segway. Highly recommend this experience! For the beginners ( like us)- do not you worry! They will teach you how to operate the equipment before they let you loose on the streets of the city, so come there in time ( or few minutes before) to get ready.

Let’s talk parking:
1 N Delaware Ave
Philadelphia, PA 19106
United States
$20 all day (walk north about 100 yards to their storefront) Allows walking over road later to lunch or ice cream or into city
We had a great time on this tour. Having never ridden a Segway before we didn’t know what to expect but shortly after some training with the guide we quickly gained confidence.
Our guide “D” was excellent. He was fun and enthusiastic and offered lots of info along the way. He was respectful of our riding ability and other people in the city. Very courteous. Thank you D, your ducklings will be back.
Highly recommend taking a tour. It was super fun and any age/skill level will be able to handle it.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!
First time in Philly so I decided to look for fun stuff to do around, due to the raving reviews, I decided to try this one out despite the price of almost a 100bucks. I arrived about thirty minutes early, got the training in and started out the tour, while heading out, the tour guide began asking me if I felt confident riding, granted this is my first time, I said I definitely felt confident enough. Less than 15minutes into the ride, this guy stopped the ride to yell at me in a very condescending manner about not following in a straight line, I felt very insulted but calmly responded and told him I was following all the instructions. This is my first time riding this and I felt I was doing great, we continued the tour and at a stop, something got into my eyes and I tried to remove it and slightly brushed the sidewalk, thereby falling off and that was it, some more condescending words and the tour guide kicked me off.
If this tour company is going to employ guides, best make sure patience is a requirement, I am an adult and not intentionally trying to mess-up a trip for which I paid almost a 100dollars, so not sure why the tour guide kept saying I was refusing to follow instructions when it was barely an innocent mistake.
Based on the overall reviews, I’d say while other tour guides may be great, but Save urself the likelihood of being assigned to this condescending tour guide and go somewhere else.

We are very sorry that you had a bad experience and weren’t able to finish your 2-hour Segway tour. As you would have seen from our reviews, we pride ourselves on our many 5-star reviews, and we believe a very big factor in this is our focus on safety with all of our guests, both at our training facility and on the streets. We want to always be sure that our Segway riders feel confident before they leave our facility and we ask that they listen clearly to their guide at all times, maintaining a safety-first approach while out on the roads so that they and everyone around them has fun in a safe environment. In this case, and after a number of incidents including moving into other lanes of traffic and not understanding the importance of the additional width you take up while on your Segway, our guide felt that he couldn’t continue the tour with you safely and therefore asked that you end your tour prematurely. We are very sorry that this had to happen and would be happy to refund your payment in full or try again on a new tour.

Our guide was Sophia who is a native Philadelphian attending Penn. Besides being very personable, she was very informative and extremely safety conscientious especially in dealing with Philly drivers. The tour was a great way to see old city Philly while Sophia gave background info and historical tidbits along the ride. Our first time riding a Segway and we highly recommend the tour. We look forward to doing the cheesesteak tour in the Spring.

We had the best time on this tour!! Deshon did a great job of teaching our diverse group how to ride a Segway, then keeping us all together throughout the tour. He took great pictures of everyone and many of the sites. The tour felt very safe, event though I'd never ridden a Segway before.

Terrific tour with a great host! Uaphi kept us moving at a great pace, educated us about the sights of the city and courteously navigated traffic and pedestrians. A great experience made amazing by the pictures taken by our guide, shared at the end of the trip. Fun and informative!

Given the half hour training, is the actual tour 2 hours or an hour and a half? Trying to decide if 1 hour would be not enough, but 2 hours be too much.

You mainly “drive by” most sites though you can stop for photos at most. (So you don’t stop & actually “tour” any of the attractions- but it’s a great way to become familiar with what’s where, get some background info - and then you can easily go back to certain attractions afterwards if you want (which is sort of nice so that you can spend as much or as little time at the attractions that interest you most.) On the Segway tour we got to run the Rocky steps at the museum (if we wanted to), but then (separately) we also went back and spent a few hours walking through the museum. Segway tours are a fun way to get a general lay of the area!
