Just do it.

What a wonderful place for the little ones.

My best advice is to plan ahead. Figure out what rides/shows you and your children really want to do and make them a priority.

They have food trucks everywhere so there are ample options for everyone. Hand sanitizer stations are all around and the employees do their best to keep everyone safe and socially distant.

Your kids will love it and you will see out of shape middle aged people in their swim suites.

We witnessed the following:
--a woman's top fell off on a water slide
--a little girl peeing behind a food truck
--liquor bottles in the parking lot
--trash around the park and parking lot
--waited 30 minutes in a car line to get in
--there was no staff to ask any questions to
--no security
--women inappropriately dressed (thongs for pants, tops that didn't fully cover breasts)
--waited over and hour for most rides

Gone from good to worst
This was my second time, we bought food at Elmos lunch and the way to serve the food was longer than ever more than 45 minutes then the food was cold. The bathrooms were so dirty pee all over and toilet paper every where, no hand towels to dry the hands. Sesame Place have gone from better to worst park. The manager in the cafeteria very rude and nasty, plus they don’t wear a head net. I won’t come back to this place.

Family Fun
Jul 2021
This was my first time at Sesame Place. My son is 5 and we wanted to take him before he got too big for it. This was the perfect age since he was able to go on ALL the rides. Some even by himself. We decided to make it a short stay vacation before school. So we opted for a package deal through the website and stayed Thursday-Sunday at the Sheraton since it was one of the closest hotels. This park is definitely for the little ones. Half the park is a water park, so if you’re doing the whole day, take note. We decided to do the rides one day and the water attractions on the other. The lockers in Sesame Place are $35 for small, and $40 for the large lockers. There aren’t many places where you can put your stuff if doing water attractions, or chairs so you are pretty much forced to get a locker. If you want a chair….get there early. We did the Elmo & Friends breakfast which was really fun for the kids. The characters put on a show and the children got to interact with ALL the characters ( Elmo, Abby, Cookie Monster, and Grover) and take pictures, both professional pics and pics with your cell phone. They sat at the tables and hugged the children.
The breakfast was buffet style (waffles, bacon, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, juice, coffee, cheese grits and Biscuits gray optional). The staff is young, you can tell mostly teenagers with summer jobs so be a bit patient. We went to the park on a Friday and a Saturday. Saturdays they definitely pull all the stops and ALL the characters are available so are the snacks and attractions. However it was also very crowded on Saturday. So like any other amusement park, get there early. There are no towels provided for water attractions so bring your own if needed. The lines for food was OUTRAGEOUS .I would strongly suggest just going right next door to Margaritas Mexican restaurant for lunch. The prices are about the same, no lines, Air Conditioned and a place to sit and relax a bit…and a nice list of alcoholic beverages for the adults. When done if you want just head back to the park.
One thing i did love is that the parents can ride all the rides with the kids which really added to the fun. The park is fairly small. We started around 10 am and was done by noon. If you plan on the water attractions the same day, you could be there the entire day. The fireworks happen at 8:30 pm and last about 7 mins tops (this isn’t Disney). It’s a fun place for both kids and adults and really add to the bonding of the family since all family members are included.

Lifetime ban and no park cameras
May 2021 • Family
I received a lifetime ban from the park after purchasing season passes for my family. The security guards confronted me in front of my children and said that I was being accused of shouting profanity at a park worker. I had never spoken with any of the workers other than a polite thank you. When I asked the security team to review the park cameras they said they didn’t have any. This is quite concerning that a major amusement park would not have cameras. My family is out hundreds of dollars and I am being accused of something that never occurred. I was escorted from the park. I tried to reach out to park management and security with no response. I’m very disappointed in the actions of the park and the lack of security and cameras. If safety is a top priority, please make sure you utilize cameras.

Needs a serious evaluation by management
Jul 2021 • Family
Pro:
We arrived early enough to get preferred parking at $40 and we managed to snag a spot just a couple of spaces away from the picnic area. That was ideal for our picnic lunch.
Waited less than 10 min for each dry ride in the AM

Cons: Pretty much everything else
Severely understaffed. Sesame Place needs to reevaluate their capacity limit when they KNOW they don’t have adequate staff. There was an unbelievable amount of people. Shoulder to shoulder.
We went to Disney on spring break and I thought that was crowded…they had nothing on Sesame Place.
Food: we brought our own lunch but none of the snack carts/trucks were open
Dirty: trash was everywhere. Overflowing bins, thrown in the bushes, under tables. It was just awful.
Water in wave pool was So cloudy and dirty looking.
Complete disorganization at the lazy River. People pushing and crowding to get a tube. It didn’t even remotely look like fun to go in.
Overall it wasn’t a good experience. We left around 5. Couldn’t even get into a show because of the mobs of people. Even the kids said they didn’t have any interest in going back.

It's not bad but plan ahead or get upgrades.
Jul 2021 • Family
Season pass holder here. I think it's only really worth it if you upgrade your day in some capacity. Lines for food are crazy long. Lines for rides are long. Restaurants are closed even on Saturday. We had a cabana which came with Magic Que and the ability to order food. This saved our day.

If you aren't able to buy upgrades, then my tip would be to do the water rides in the back of the park. The Counts Castle slides aren't such a bad wait, and if you've have kids who are comfortable swimming they can use the slides by the Elmo ride section. Dry rides are long too, but you can sub in the Monster Clubhouse and that long (slow) slide in between waits. Usually the water rides in front can be a shorter wait in the morning. Bring whatever food you can in a soft cooler. There isn't much for a toddler, so we brought apple sauce pouches, Cheerios and fruit. Lastly, if you have kids who can't handle waits, don't stand by end of the parade route. It takes a good ten minutes for the parade to actually get to the end of the route, and kids might get frustrated hearing a parade they can't yet see.

Terrible
Jul 2021 • Family
Hi! We were in the park last Saturday! It was the worst experience ever. We came in and wanted to escape in 10 minutes. But…. We could not have a refund to go somewhere else. 1. Crowds of people. No masks no social distance in shops or restrooms! This place is not safe for us and our kids. 2. Staff is not vaccinated! One girl in the shop said that they supposed to be but not even everyone took the first shot. 2. Manager Brien (or something like this) extremely rude!!!! Not helpful. Does not know the simple polite rules of communication and tone of voice was scream when he was talking to us. Lied in each word! 3. Kids are pushed. My 7 yo was almost drawn bc if the crowd of people in lazy river. Lifeguards did not come, did not help. 4. Super dirty!
People please don’t go there!!!!

Fun but terrible food
I took my 3 year old son. We had a lot of fun. The water park was especially fun. A lot of the food options were closed. Cookies Cafe's line took forever. The food was cold.
