Overview

Philadelphia was the first capital of the United States, and is home to many major historical monuments and landmarks. On this intimate walking tour, you’ll see most of Philadelphia’s essential sights, all while learning about the City of Brotherly Love’s history from your guide. In the company of a small group, visit Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Franklin Court, and more, and wind down with a cold beverage in Old City.

What to Expect

This afternoon tour kicks off at the Philly Tour Hub, conveniently located in the heart of Old City. Meet your guide and set off on an in-depth exploration of Philadelphia. This small-group tour guarantees a personal, up-close experience.

Begin at the Betsy Ross House, where the first American flag was sewed, and continue through Old City. You’ll see Elfreth’s Alley (the country’s oldest continually occupied residential street), the church where the Founding Fathers worshiped, and Franklin Court, once home to Benjamin Franklin.

Then, continue to Independence Mall. Admire the exterior of Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence was signed), visit the Liberty Bell, and look out for the US Mint. Throughout your tour, your guide will share insight and stories about Philadelphia’s history.

The tour concludes at a popular local establishment in Old City, where you’ll enjoy a craft beer or a soft drink. Or, upgrade to enjoy a craft beer tasting and tour experience.

Evan was terrific

The tour was enjoyable and informative. Our guide was very engaging and knowledgeable, and shared not only the history, but insights about the founding fathers that added a personal touch to the tour.

As Ben Franklin said, "A penny saved is a penny that shoul'dve gone to Dick for his amazing tours". I'm paraphrasing, but we, Dick, and I'm sure Ben Franklin really appreciate your feedback. We hope to see you back in Philly again sometime!

Brian for Mayor of Philadelphia!

We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful tour. Brian was hands down the best tour guide we've experienced in our 50 years of travel around this country. In the midst of the most divisive political climate the US has seen in our lifetime, Brian's tour was exceptionally...More

I’m not sure about the transportation into Philly but the Tour Hub is just a few steps past the Betsy Ross House. There is a sign on their building.
