Our tour guide Craig was great!! He was well informed and very passionate about all our stops. Even provided us with little tips for us to do on our own.

I really enjoyed the walking tour. It was lots of historic tidbits I learnt during the tour. The trip guide made it very personal and kept asking trivia about founding fathers

Can I get my money back? I would give it -5 stars if I could.
I was excited to let my teens hear about the city in terms of the Constitution. In the first five minutes, our guide discussed the horrible treatment of indigenous people by every one except William Penn and the how the first President enslaved people. I am polite, soI decided to give her a chance. But no. The thing that was discussed the least was the Constitution, it felt like a personal story time with no care or concern that someone in the audience might not agree with her personal al point of view. It was the at the Betsy Ross house that we were shown the intersections that clearly didn’t matter back then. The city of “brotherly love”apparently cares more about its inclusivity with the ever more important “sisterly” love. It was at Christ’s Church that we were told Ben Franklin would have approved of our vaccinations.

Thanks to Critical Race Theory oppressor/oppressed power structure and Kimberly Crenshaw, the tour guide used historicism to filter almost all of interesting information that truly had to do with the Constitution. Now I will have to unteach my kids. So disappointing to not once hear about how revolutionary documents our Founders were able to create a document to protect the people from the overreaches of said government. How about the fact that it is the only Constitution to last over 250 years. It is sad when your guides use their job to push a political white wash of our nations history for the last 8 years. Ben Franklin was the hero of this tour. Alexander Hamilton was also mention 5 to 1 times more than any of our founding fathers. Oh, yeah. Faith? An not even an after thought in this tour guides presentation

Guided tour
Aug 2021 • Friends
Melissa was AWESOME. I travel fairly often, and try to do some sort of guided tour anytime I visit a major city. I have never had a guide as enthusiastic as Melissa. You could tell she loved the city and the history she was passing on to us. It really made it that much more enjoyable for us as tourists. Melissa, thank you for your passion and energy, and keep it up! Don't ever stop teaching people about “the room where it happened”, and thanks for teaching us about the new city hall, and the William Penn statues! Super awesome bits of trivia I’ll keep with me!

Thanks for your message. I am so sorry to hear this. I believe all of our tickets should have the correct meeting spot so this is definitely very concerning and I would like to look into it. Would you mind sending me an email at info@theconstitutional.com and letting me know what the address was that you had and maybe sending a copy of your ticket and where you purchased it so I can look into this problem? Thank you in advance and again I apologize for this issue. If you would like to take the tour another date/time I'd be happy to assist you.

Wonderful Tour
Jun 2021
We booked a private four hour tour. It was the perfect amount of time. We could take our time and not be rushed. Our tour guide, Michael, was excellent! You could tell his passion for history and Philadelphia. Because we had four hours with him, he could also take his time and tell us extra stories and facts. Michael did perfect interacting with my children and answering any questions we had. I would recommend this experience to anyone and look forward to doing it again on our next trip to the area.

A tour you could have done on your own…
Jul 2021 • Family
The guide seemed to be reciting from a memorized script. The commentary was boring. We’ve been traveling throughout the eastern seaboard taking walking tours and this is not one I’d recommend.

Thanks for your feedback. I'd love to follow up with you privately about your experience to see who your guide was and get more insight since this is certainly not our standard and it does not sound like we met your expectations. Please feel free to email me at info@theconstitutional.com so we can discuss further. Thanks.

Great tour
Very informative tour! We are a family of 5. There were plenty of benches along the tour for my 12 and 4 year old to sit. Best for older kids, but my 4 year old enjoyed seeing the buildings and putting a penny on Ben Franklin’s grave through the gate. Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable!

Philadelphia and American History comes alive!
Jul 2021 • Family
The young man who was our guide (michael?) was outstanding. So knowledgeable and very humorous. His commentary was excellent and his passion for Philadelphia and its history shown through every stop on the tour. Our 12yr old granddaughter told us before the tour that she thought history was quite boring. However, she enjoyed it as much as we did and ended up asking very astute questions - she claimed our guide made the history soooo interesting!! We highly recommend this tour.
