On December 12, I and my son experienced an unforgettable Moonlight Ride through Central Park, organized by Top Hat NY Horse & Carriage. Initially, we considered canceling because of the condition of some carriages and horses we saw at Central Park. However, we discovered that these were not from Top Hat. In the end, we decided to go ahead with the ride anyway, and we did not regret it for a moment. Our coachman, Omer, contacted us nicely in advance and was waiting for us with a beautifully decorated carriage, complete with festive Christmas decorations and a warm blanket for the cold evening. His horse looked fit and well cared for. Omer shared fascinating stories about the history of Central Park and the surrounding buildings. The highlight was a photo stop at Bethesda Terrace, where a guitarist played “Holy Night” on his acoustic guitar by a fire. This magical moment was truly priceless. We are extremely grateful to Omer and his sweet horse and recommend everyone to make reservations at Top Hat. You won't see these carriages during the day, as they run by appointment. On our next visit to New York, we will definitely book another Moonlight Ride at Top Hat, hopefully again with Omer as our coachman. Monique & Patrique Arrachart The Netherlands

We paid for the champagne tour because 3 years ago we did the same tour and had a magical experience in Cebtral Park following our anniversary dinner. This year, was disappointing. The attention to detail was lacking. We were shown a bottle of warm champagne and two red solo cups on the seat in front of us. The first time the driver was super attentive, opened the champagne, poured it into plastic champagne cups, and placed the bottle in an ice bucket. We ended up not opening the champagne because warm champagne is not worth drinking. We ended up taking the champagne home, but I could have purchased a bottle of champagne for much less on my own to take home. The idea was to enjoy it on the tour. I will think twice before I book another carriage tour in Central Park.

Very nice scenery and great driver. He was very accommodating because we were late to the pick up point. Very resourceful for us.

The guide was amazing and so knowledgeable. He knew every question we asked and had lots of interesting fun facts about the city. Central Park was beautiful and peaceful at night. The carriage cushions were so comfortable and the blankets warmed us up completely and were a very nice addition.

Do NOT book with this company. We booked our ride weeks in advance. We were told to arrive 15 min early, they left us standing alone in the dark at the edge of Central Park and were a COMPLETE NO SHOW. We called, they had zero record of our reservation despite us having the confirmation number and all contact info attached to our ticket. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! $460 charged to our credit card…romantic evening with my wife COMPLETELY RUINED!!!!!

We paid 460.00 for this trip, i received numerous messages to be there 15 minutes before out scheduled time which was at 9:00 pm on 1/7/24. We arrived at 8:40 pm waited until 9:04pm before i called the number on our reservation. The individual that answered the phone was ride and states he had no record of the booking even though i had a booking number. He stated i would be refunded 100% of the money within 3-5 days but was extremely rude and made no effort to fix the situation. I would not recommend this company or ride at all as they are a complete fraud

Interesting facts given about the park and surrounding area. Had a very nice time.got to get out and do a little site seeing at one point.

Matt was so much fun with the main character, Yankee Doodle. Excellent tour. Hjighly recommend. Matt gave a very interesting historical view of Central Park. Would do again

Firstly thank you to Top Hat NY our flight was cancelled less then 24hrs to our carriage ride but they kindly moved the day for us with no issue. We arrived at the meeting point to what was a damp night in NY we where meet by our driver Paris who once checked in introduced us to Simba who had his rain coat on to keep the worst of the weather off…. Paris and Simba set off and explained what buildings within Central Park where when they were built and any interesting facts also pointing out where films had been made some famous and some not so much, we got photo opportunities along the way and overall had a great carriage ride.

Ralph, Harry and Pepper were amazing!!! made us feel welcome,safe and explained so much, very friendly, highly recommend!! Great experience

Ariel was a wonderful tour guide through Central Park on a blustery cold night!! He accommodated our timing request also!! My husband and our friends loved our little carriage ride and the history of different things throughout the park!!

Driver was awesome, Central Park was beautiful 😍 photo stops were great, all around amazing!!!! We Highly recommend
