- Seaside435191000410 contributionsBEST TOUR GUIDE EVER!The tour guide was EXCELLENT! Our group had people from Belgium, Spain, France, and Germany (we were the only two Americans). The tour guide made the trip relevant for EVERYONE, with anecdotes and information relevant to each culture. She was humorous, with an expert knowledge of graffiti and related art forms. She knew the artists, their backgrounds, and their passions. One of the best tours EVER!!!!Written November 2, 2024
- angelafY645RV0 contributionsLA street art sceneIf you are interested in the history of tagging and street art, this is an awesome tour. Gabe is very knowledgeable and can give your insights into the artists, the culture and the process behind the art. The art changes over time so what we saw may not be there in a month, but the art was incredible. Would highly recommend this tour.Written October 26, 2024
- 420vvs0 contributionsFamily graffitisA fun family experience with a talented and friendly street artist who knows how to magnify a neophyte's drawing! Thanks for this nice moment!Written October 24, 2024
- 249tls0 contributionsGhost is a great teacher! So much fun! Ghost made it look easy and taught in stages. Lots of practice before getting to the canvas. We will def do this againWritten October 20, 2024
- isaiah3660 contributionsAwesome, unique experience! We booked a workshop with Graff Tours for a team event and we all absolutely loved it! It was cool to go through the mini lessons at the beginning and then we all brainstormed on a final concept to create as a group. Really fun and creative event that I'm recommending to people from now on.Written October 18, 2024
- 586jimmyp0 contributionsSeeing the real NYC with this graffiti tour. Highly recommend.Went on a tour with Eddie who is a legend of graffiti writing and gave me a firsthand account of the history of the art. He shared with me the culture and values of artists past and present with a thorough knowledge of specific artists working the streets today. I have lived in NYC for 15 years and it was one of the best experienced I've had since I moved here. Logistically, the meetup location was easy and on time. Communication was great throughout the process. Highly recommend.Written October 15, 2024
- roverquesada0 contributionsGreat Experience! It was an excellent tour!! Audrey was very funny, yet precise and emphatic when showing the influence of graffiti not only in the Bushwick neighborhood but also from its beginnings in New York City. Highly recommended! It's the second time I've done it, the first was in 2019!Written October 13, 2024
- donag7010 contributionsHighly recommended urban LA tourThe walking tour in downtown L.A with Gabe was fabulous! He was able to put the tags/pieces/murals in an historical context, showing their significance deeply rooted in the cultural tangle that is Los Angeles. It was almost like walking with an art historian. We found him to be respectful of the artists, enough so, that he went as far as receiving permission to tour there, in contrast to the common attitude of ownership and disregard.Written October 8, 2024
- carlylej20180 contributionsAwesomeIt was very informational and opened our eyes to the styles and reasons for doing the art as well as how the community works. This was my third tour and I learn something new every time. I appreciated the more democratic style of the neighbourhood where this tour happens.Written September 15, 2024

- duncanville230 contributionsGreat spot to learn something new.I had a great experience with Isabelle, she was patient with me and actually taught me to spray my own mural after one lesson and never having used a spray can in my life for the purpose of creating art. She’s happy to share her knowledge and technique; I’m excited to book more lessons with her. Glad I discovered Grafftours in NYCWritten August 26, 2024
- jlh0f0 contributionsIncredible experience for the whole family! The full Graff Tours experience was the perfect way for my husband, 11-year old son, and I to spend an afternoon while on vacation in NY. Our son has been obsessed with graffiti lately - the art, the lifestyle, and the culture - and he certainly got his fill of all of this while working with MIMS in his studio and touring the streets of Bushwick with Audrey. Audrey’s knowledge of (and in many cases friendships with) the graffiti writers of past and present was really impressive! We all learned a lot from her. And MIMS was very cool and kind to my son who had only held a spray can once before in his life. Our family is very thankful for the time we had in Brooklyn with Graffiti tours and certainly plan on recommending the experience to our friends!Written August 24, 2024

The Brooklyn private tour seemed to be designed for people that are interested in street art and graffiti technique as well as artist information and history. Extremely focused on details (discussing a piece of art on a fire hydrant for 5 minutes). I wish I did more research before i booked this. They no longer tour the Bushwick Collective which was disappointing. Our tour guide was very passionate and knowledgeable-we just thought this would include more than a one block radius. I would recommend this tour to someone that wants to learn about technique/artist information/history. If you’re goal is to see a larger quantity of street art/graffiti-this tour is not for you.

We we're a group of 12 people from work and we chose to do both the tour and the workshop. Thanks to Audrey and Mims1 we had a great experience. We learned so much about many different aspects of graffiti culture and history - it was super interesting. The workshop was also amazing and provided an incredible opportunity for this unique hands on experience. Mims1 was nice and knowledgeable and we had fun creating together.
We highly recommend this activity for any work or family groups!

My wife and I were looking for something a bit different to do during our trip to NYC and this was perfect. We thought Leaf was a brilliant tutor, clearly very authentic and knowledgable, and we loved learning graffiti art from an expert. We can't wait to display our work at home. Highly recommend!

The tour and the graffiti workshop were fascinating! We learned so much about graffiti culture and street art. This is not a physically strenuous tour; it is more standing and looking and listening than walking, and then there is just one staircase to get upstairs to the studio for the lesson, so just about anyone can do it!
Our tour guide was Audrey and she is a wealth of knowledge and we could tell how passionate she is and how much she loves the art and the culture.
Our graffiti writer was Mims and he is so incredibly talented, we could have watched him work all day. He was also a really patient teacher. Graffiti is HARD, and he makes it look effortless and he made it very fun.
You can opt to purchase a canvas to paint and bring home... do it!! (Don't worry, when it comes out looking rough, they go in and finish it in 5 minutes and it comes out looking amazing!)
This was our favorite tour in NYC and we absolutely would do it again!

Artist was great. However, there was no canvas to take home after as we had heard about through friends. Apparently this is now an extra charge that you have to note when you register online. I do not feel like I was asked this question when I signed up online and I was not allowed to add it on at the time of the session. Which was really disappointing as we planned to have something to take home w us. The workshop is cool, but I would have been much less likely to pay the fee if I understood there was nothing to take home as a family memory.

Hey There,
We have changed our program recently. There are quite a few options. We have a lower cost option where there is no keepsake and a higher cost option with a canvas keepsake. I think you would have enjoyed the higher end package.

It was awesome, a must NYC thing to do.
We had our 9 years old birthday party there and the kids - and parents - loved the workshop and the tour.
The staff was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
Highly recommend it and will gladly book it again!

Great experience! It was such a fun thing to do to celebrate my birthday with friends. Our instructor, Envy, was the best you can wish for! charming, kind, funny and knowledgeable. She made sure everyone was involved and everyone felt welcome. Thanks to her we have much more respect for this form of art now. I would recommend this workshop to everyone, no matter the age, no matter the occasion. And ask for Envy! you will have a blast!

From our family point of view - wonderful, fun, creative, immersive experience for us and the kids. The "Ghost" was our teacher for the workshop and he was not only talented but also patient and endearing to the kids. If someone is looking for a fun, unique and memorable experience, this is it.

Our group of eight had a blast at our Graffiti Workshop! Our instructor, Mims was patient, informative, and made the class very enjoyable. It was the perfect balance of letting us try out all the different techniques, letting us explore and have fun, with setting up our guides and finessing our final piece to make it look presentable. We would recommend this to any group or even as a team building activity!
Thank you for the best time!

Fabulous time. Eddie was great. He was so nice and informative and we learned a lot. we left with two very cool canvases as well. Definite highlight of the trip for our two teens and an even greater appreciation for the history and art and skill of all the art around us.
