The helicopter tour was great but the staff is extremely rude. Our tour was a 4pm, and as said on the ticket we have to arrive 45min prior to that. So that’s what he did. We arrived a 3:15pm. We called them as said on the ticket, and it was straight to voicemail. We called again a 3:19 and finally they answered and we got into the bus AT THE SAME TIME as the others. But when we arrived, they wanted to charge us 100$ for being late for 4min. We showed history phone call for proof that we called at 3:15 and this rude lady said we were liars because “yeah sure, if you really called don’t you think we would have answered you?”. Note that we didn’t need the bus to come back for us or anything. We got into it as the same time as everyone else. That lady told us that we were dishonest and that we were understanding what we wanted to understand on the instruction. To her, when it says “45min prior to the tour” it means to come BEFORE the 45min BEFORE the tour. It’s ridiculous. She finally said that she’s not even gonna argue with us and that they won’t charge us. A few minutes later another worker told that lady that yes, in fact she could see on her computer that we called right on time a 3:15. Of course that didn’t make her apologize for calling us liars. They are thirsty for money and will try anything to get money off you! Be careful with them.

That’s was an incredible experience , super friendly stuff and pilot was amazing. The only thing it was too quick and we haven’t seen Brooklyn bridge, I felt it was less than 15 min

I was a bit anxious at first because I read some negative reviews. but all the negative reviews are from people who didn't read the description properly. for this price it is a very good tour. the people were friendly and the pilot also shared things between the flights. highly recommended

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company, which I believe to be a scam. Prior to the helicopter tour, I made five phone calls on the day before and the day of the tour to confirm all the details, but I consistently reached voicemail. Despite our punctuality, when we arrived in the shuttle, the person on the other end of the walkie-talkie claimed that our party couldn't fly because we were late, which was untrue. The shuttle driver advised me to call and speak to the person directly. After multiple attempts, I finally managed to get through, but the representative I spoke with had an incredibly rude attitude. They insisted that we were supposed to arrive an hour earlier, citing information allegedly present in the email, ticket, and website. However, when I checked my ticket screenshot, there was no such mention anywhere. Additionally, they had sent an email only two hours before our scheduled time on a Sunday morning, who is going to read that? Since I had booked through Tripadvisor/Viator, I had no reason to visit their website either. It became clear that this was a ploy to extract more money from us, as they charged a $100 per person late fee and an additional $135 heliport fee, both of which were not clearly communicated. Frustrated, we went to their office seeking a fair resolution, only to be met with verbal abuse from the lady in charge. Her colleagues also tried to shift the blame onto Viator, claiming that this was the first time such an incident had occurred. Reluctantly, we paid the additional fees and boarded the helicopter. Unfortunately, our 12-minute ride turned into a terrifying ordeal when the helicopter door unexpectedly swung wide open mid-flight, causing us extreme distress. We were instructed to hold the door shut for the remainder of the ride, making the experience both fearful and far from enjoyable. The only positive aspect was our pilot, Mike, who was professional and very skilled. It's a shame that he is associated with such a disreputable company.

You have to be at the office 45 mins. To avoid a fine of 100.00 per person; but , our fly depart one hour later and the poorly prepared team and or the manager , not even apologized for the inconvenience, since we lost an apartment for Dinner. I'm sure that there are better options.

Terrible experience - they forced us to arrive 1h in advance otherwise we d have to pay a $100 late fee. You would expect they would be on time, but we waited for our ride OVER 2 HOURS. When we complained they said “this is normal”. On top of this the company/place/hangar is really dodgy and we wondered all the time if it was a legal business. Definitely not recommended.

This trip was awesome! Everyone that works there is so helpful and accommodating. The pilot was wonderful. I took my granddaughter to NY for her 14th birthday and they let her sit up front with the pilot. She loved it!! Highly recommend NYC Helicopter Tour!!

This is a dishonest company. If we would have read the other reviews we would have know that this is their (should be illegal) practice. Be very weary about making your reservations with them. They called us 30 mins before the flight saying our flight was cancelled then hung up in our faces when we asked why. They / 3rd party seller provided incorrect scheduling Information and they kept our money! They would have tried to charge us a $100 late fee pp but instead they just stole all our money.

A tale of two halves. Amazing experience and excellent pilot. Staff unfriendly, unprofessional and lots of hidden costs really detracted from what should have been a truly memorable day.

The staff and tour were amazing! No wait, shuttle picked us up promptly and after a brief safety video, we were on our way. What an incredible way to experience NYC!

Experience was amazing!You just have to be there early at the meeting points. And you won't have any issues!They do charge $45 per person once you're there. But that is clearly stated when you book, they were awesome and they took pictures of us without charging, overall great experience!!!

Inarguably, one of the best experiences you can have in New York City. None of the other heli tours can compare. To start the team really feels like a family. Everyone is so respectful and does their job to the utmost standards. Jessica was super helpful on the phones and Oscar, Josephine, & Mike greeted us as soon as we walked through. While on the helicopter, the pilot pointed out landmarks throughout and made sure everyone was able to get a direct sight line. If you want to truly see New York City, this is a must have and an absolute value. Pro-tip, arrive an hour early like they explain and you'll be fine. Also do the Grand tour, it's worth it.

Great service! Except, y'all need a little bit of better coms needed for the ride,that way people aren’t waiting for too long outside! But other than that everyone’s friendly and welcoming! Thank you guys!

Very good, a little bit cramped because of space but overall very good experience and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to see New York from the sky.
