Nash was our tour guide and he was phenomenal! Loved his energy, very friendly, even dang for us, and super knowledgeable about this city. I learned a lot!

My husband and I were on the night tour with Wesley and immensely enjoyed ourselves. He told interesting facts about the city AND tested our attentiveness with questions. Bonus: When people answered the questions correctly he gave out candy! He sang some original songs (he's an actor and in the home of Broadway, so...) and I thought the songs were very charming. He gave good tips on bullets to dodge to save money (I'm looking at you pedicabs!). He also shared about good places to get pizza which is always solid info to have. One thing of note for me about Wesley's tour was how he highlighted important history. He did a Land Acknowledgement to honor the Lenape who were robbed of the land that is now New York. He also shared about Senaca Village, the Black community formerly located where Central Park is now, I feel Wesley did a swell job and hope you're lucky enough to get him for your tour. I do want to note: We *did not* do the normal evening tour because of a change to traffic on the night we chose for our tour. (Or maybe a change for the season?) We did a Holiday Lights tour instead. It's a far more abbreviated route although you still get to see great sites at night. We went from Times Square to Macy's to Central Park then down 5th and up 6th before returning to Times Square. I think it's good for folks to know that and plan accordingly.

Chaos. Very friendly salesmen all over Times Square. You’d be better off walking over to 5th Avenue and get M1 city bus that will take you down south. Chaos- just left 20-25 people at every stop on the way north. Feel sorry for the drivers. Do not do this tour. Full busses and many people waiting- one guy at our stop had waited 45 minutes.

Absolutely terrible experience. The bus broke down so many times that we ended up having to walk back. We booked two tours one for uptown and one for downtown and we’re unable to complete them because there was no buses that were running properly. I have reached out to the company and requested a refund, but it was declined stating that the terms and conditions clearly state no refunds. What a joke the terms and conditions do not state that the buses will be broken either.

My friend and I paid around $164 for a day tour at Penn Station before noon on Saturday. 1. We waited at the nearby stop for one hour until the fourth bus arrived before we could get on. The previous two buses were late and full. Meanwhile, Big Bus Tours had at least 3 buses stopped for their customers. 2. Then again, at stop 13 at around 6pm, we waited for 45 minutes until the third bus arrived. The previous buses again were full. 3. The sales sold us combined red and blue routes, even though it was impossible to for us to finish one route within half a day, given that the buses were full few and late. She claimed there would be a bus every 10 minutes. This is not acceptable, and we feel being ripped off.

Terrible experience.. wait times were extremely long or in some cases buses did not show up at all for scheduled departures. Buses were overcrowded. Huge waste of money..

Worse Company ever encounter, Was advised they would give me proper tickets that was a lie, Uptown tour started at 8am in fact it was the downtown. stopped at one stop for 15mins, went downstairs and driver was asleep, said there was heavy traffic. Boat cruise not advised which boat it would be so nearly missed the tour. No staff and signs to say where to go. Nightime tour was chaos , staff had no idea to deal with a crowd, traffic was heavy but we were not allowed to sit down stairs, tour was 1 hr but 2.5 hrs at one point we were in 5th Avenue kirbside going no where asked if we could get off and was refused. Two hrs after wards still shaking , next day had a cold . Inhumane to not let guests off or sit downstairs was offered a pass valid for 12 months but has been withdrawn

We booked this specific tour because it listed seeing sights we hadn’t seen yet, but it was a disappointment from the start. No where did it tell us to download the app to access tickets, so that but us behind in an already super long line in the middle of Times Square. We don’t get on a bus u til 7:30pm (your was suppose to start at 7pm) and then instead of seeing the Brooklyn Bridge or other sights, we just drove around Times Square and got stuck in traffic for almost 3 hours. There was no onboard tour guide like advertised and how other reviewers had raved about; just head phones to listen to random facts and mostly annoying music . Very disappointed we didn’t get what we thought we were signing up/paying for on this tour.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience ever. It was pouring rain, (obviously not in the tours control). You know what is though, when you have a bus tour scheduled for six and they show up after seven, and you can’t leave because the representative at the stop keeps telling you its only 10 minutes away. At 6:55 I had just about had it and called for a refund, buyer beware, no refunds! Even if they don’t show up. They will just give you a pass for another day, well guess what, we are on a tour so we obviously aren’t from NYC, therefore it’s not exactly easy to come back another day. When the bus finally did show up after 7, the bus was extremely dangerous. Inside was floating in water and there was a waterfall coming down the stairs. To top it all off the tour operators mic stopped working for a significant amount of time. Please save your money and aggravation.

We have high hopes of seeing much of NYC. We booked with TopView sightseeing bus which turned out to be a complete joke. We waited at one stop for almost 3 hours for a bus to come. $400 wasted. You'd be better off using a different company of picking a different activity.

Don't give them your business - seriously. 20yr New Yorker and there is no bigger scam in the city. I thought it might be fun to take my family on the bus for some sightseeing. WRONG. The prices vary widely all over the internet. The app was the cheapest but apparently you can negotiate in person. After boarding the bus, the driver was immediately stuck in traffic (it's NY - this is expected), except the route they selected was so poorly planned we sat for 2.5 hrs on a random midtown street. (there was no accident etc, this was just good old NYC poor planning). There is no bathroom on the bus. After the sitting and sitting and sitting they decided to call the whole thing off. We were asked to disembark on a random street and were issued no refund or voucher for a future trip. It is a scam!!! You will not see the sights, you will not enjoy it and you will not ever want to return to NYC.

Absolutely awful experience. Crowded, rubbish pre-recorded commentary (when it worked). Manhattan can get gridlocked easily, which means any bus tour will never be able to go around the sights in a day. Diverted routes and roadworks means that we spent a day sat in traffic, mostly not moving. The only time the driver spoke was to tell people off for moving downstairs when the bus had stopped. A horrible, expensive waste of a day.

Adolfo was amazing so genuine we went 11/22/23. My brother treated my husband, 2 kids and I on this tour. Truly got to feel the nyc vibe.

Bar none, this was absolutely the worst experience ever. As a seasoned traveler, I’ve take many, many excursions in cities around the world so had an idea of what to expect. From the very beginning, once the ticket was purchased, it was a nightmare. Long, long hour + waits at each stop, complete lack of organization, horrible, rude bus drivers, the list goes on. We watched as many people were left at each stop. At the end of the day, we were all told to get off at some random place on 42nd, leaving many of us stranded far from our destination. Save the stress and take cabs, the subway, any other option but this one.

We waited at one stop for over 45 minutes! There were at least 20 of us in line, some were there for over an hour. The wait time promised was 10-15 minutes. 2 separate buses came by that were full. We ended up walking back to the stop before in hopes of getting on. We were unable to use all of the sites we had hoped. (we got on the bus at 10am) would recommend using a different tour bus.
