Walking tour & museum well worth the $$
Our guide was lovely - it was just the two of us so we were able to chat with her & ask lots of questions. She was a New York local so it was interesting to get a locals feel for the place. We did the museum upgrade & spent five hours in there. Very humbling experience.

Very happy we went on the tour. Was just enough info and views were spectacular! Took great pics. Boat was a little rocky when entering and exiting the boat.

      A Stunning Experience
Hello, We prefer more time to watch the movie "Immigrants" at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. And more time to get lunch. The tour lady was amazing! She told us many stories about the History of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the 9/11 Memorial. Thank you so much! We learned a lot of concepts. We will do other trips again when we have time.

Paid for guided tour which did not happen
We paid 80 USD per person (family of 4) for a guided tour on 10.8. and maid of the mist. We only received maid of the mist for 30 USD per person and got some tips where to go. However there was no guided tour. We contacted reservation and central office for assistance and still no feedback.

      A rememberable experience
Absolutely an awesome tour. The staff were very friendly and informative. The souvenirs were most likely the least expensive in NYC. I took my nine years old granddaughter, who couldn’t contain her excitement. I highly recommend this tour. Great for all ages.

Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and 911 memorial tours
We were rushed by the tour guide just given 30 mins at the statue and Ellis Island. Do we had to run in the sweltering heat. Then we were given instructions about the 911 memorial on the boat coming back to State St; told how to get to the memorial by subway. The package that we paid for stated "911" tour. Overall a rip off. No value for the money. Lesson learned.

      Advice for Seniors
The Met is amazing! This tour was perfect for us, as we are seniors we did not want to spend hours attached to a guide. Alex helped when we needed him but let us go on our own, at our own speed. We could have used a little more advice ahead of time, such as "The museum doesn't open until 10:00AM" There is a handicap entrance and where it is, and there are no restaurants in the area on 5th Ave.(but there are food trucks in front)

      Great tour
It was good. Informative. The 9/11 memorial upgrade was not for the museum. It was just for the tour guide to give you Information about the 9/11 park/museum. Also, there is a 20-25 min walk from Battery Park to the 9/11 memorial and museum. So be prepared to walk or take the subway. Or an Uber/Lyft/taxi. ( Subway is only 2 stops away.)
