Stop At: Chinatown, Canal Street to Bayard Street, New York City, NY 10013
While most tourists visiting NYC have Chinatown in Manhattan as a must do thing on their visit, most are unaware that NYC actually has 3 different Chinatowns. The one in Flushing is bigger than Manhattan and has a distinctively different vibe to it. In this experience, Jorge will guide you around the various nooks and crannies of this neighborhood. The tour itself is 5-6 hours long and will start at an agreed upon time in the morning between 10 and 11. You will get a chance to photograph all the action – hawkers, food stalls, storefronts, commuters, workers, and residents. The energy is fast-paced and there is a lot to absorb. Jorge will take you to one of his favorite hole in the wall places for lunch and you will get a chance to sample some of the best street food available in the city.
Jorge is a well published photographer who regularly offers workshops and classes.
In this tour you will get to shoot side by side with him and learn from him. If you are interested, at the end of the tour, you will get a chance to get feedback on your images.
