- 231PatM2310 contributions2024 A New York Christmas TripWe booked as my wife wanted to go (I was reluctant) WOW !!!! What a show, absolutely fantastic. The Rockettes were point perfect on every routine they did. Santa Did a great job running the show. I cannot fault anything with this show, from the staff outside whilst we were queuing, to finding out seats..."Hello... Enjoy The Show" to leaving the building. The staff all work so hard to make it an enjoyable experience. If you can get tickets...Do it !! You won't regret it We sat in Orchestra Section 6 Row S, seats 611 & 612. - Grant P0 contributionsThe guide only walked us to the ferry line and helped us slip ahead of some lolligaggers. The premium was a total wasteThe premium was a waste. Just buy a regular ticket. They added just some logistical tips but otherwise it was the same as the standard tour.Written November 30, 2024
- Odyssey240830 contributionsTour represents Museum and sightseeing cruise! It is not doable and cruise never happened! Do not couple the two toursThe museum and memorial was an overwhelmingly emotion experience. However coupling this a a package with a cruise taking us by The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island was an absolute disaster! You booked our times unreasonably close but sent information that we could take an alternative cruise and spelled out the times to choose from. We opted to choose a later time to give us more time at the museum. Even doing that, we were still rushed at the museum. The cruise was a 40 minute walk from the museum and we were instructed to be there 30 minutes prior! We planned accordingly and guzzled to the address for the cruise only to find there was no 6pm boat as previously indicated! Their solution was “sorry but you can come back tomorrow!” Unfortunately that was not an option! There were several people like us, gathered around to get on the advertised 6pm boat that did not exist! We had all prepaid and yet there was no 6pm cruise! We could have easily spent more time at the museum! We could have spared ourselves the 40 minute hustle to the pier which ultimately brought 40 minutes in the wrong direction putting us 2hiurs from where we were staying…. All for nothing! Very disappointing! The museum should be a tour by itself and not coupled with the cruise!Written November 26, 2024

- elizabethnR7856OJ0 contributionsOur #1 family-friendly Xmas experience in NYCWhile this wasn't my first trip to see the Christmas Spectacular, I had not attended in over ten years. What a wonderful experience! Our seats were in the orchestra and had great views! The performances were so fantastic - the Rockettes really are as incredible as they are said to be. Most of all, this show was FUN! It really put us in the holiday spirit. It was still a bit early for decorations in NYC but that's all right because the Spectacular brought us all the holiday cheer we needed. Just a note- we go to NYC a lot and Radio City had THE MOST organized rest room experience (women's) I've had in NYC (no kidding -that kind of info can be important!). SHOW SPOILER ALERT -- the nativity story was incredible and left me in tears. I wish there were more shows like this!Written November 21, 2024

- DanielandJocelyn0 contributionsGreat for All Ages, Amazing PrecisionOn 11-10-24, the 11am show cost $70/seat for 2nd mezzanine, far right side. Full view, but I we'll sit closer to the middle next time, even if 3rd mezzanine (top-most tier). Two organ players do Christmas songs around 10mins before show time. After that, it's a solid 90mins of amazing entertainment, with no intermission. The precision is amazing. It's not just the dancers, but the orchestra and stage prop-- all three have to be in perfect synch...and it is. The Nativity scene is something we are truly happy they keep. Our girls are 10 and 7. Both enjoyed it completely.Written November 10, 2024
- 977charal0 contributionsSCAM!!Worst experience ever! We were scammed basically. Booked this tour last minute and our payment went through fine. We arrived at the meeting point at 12:42 almost 20 mins before the activity. We were met there by Cesar our tour operator who informed us that because we booked last minute they could not provide us with a your guide all the way. He also aaid it was late to do both Ellis Island and the 9-11 memorial and we should choose. We said we paid nearly 300$ for this tour and they are basically just giving us tickets to the statue of liberty worth 50 bucks. He said we will PROBABLY get a refund and … we believed him. Today we requested the refund and it was rejected because we were according to him late. He said we arrived at 13:32! Google though can show our exact movement of the day. So we still have an open dispute with them via the viator. Anyway AVOID AT ALL COST! This BS is not worth it during your holiday!Written November 10, 2024
- papagalo0 contributionsGreat ShowGreat performances from start to end. Only downside was the seating assignment, we were off to the side of the stage behind a support tower We were not given seats assignments at the point of purchaseWritten November 10, 2024
- Makenzie P0 contributionsA must see showWe attended the 5 pm show on Saturday, November 9th, and it was absolutely amazing. In the past, I’ve had less-than-ideal experiences with staff at shows in New York, but I want to give a special shoutout to the team here. Every staff member I encountered was not only friendly but genuinely helpful, and I was so impressed by how happy they seemed to be at their jobs. It’s rare to see that level of enthusiasm, and it really stood out. I especially want to recognize Tiffanee S. at the merchandise counter. She was incredibly patient and attentive as she helped me choose a shirt, and her friendly demeanor made the experience even better. As for the show itself, it was phenomenal! We had orchestra seats in row S, and the view was fantastic. The performance truly put us in the holiday spirit, and we left feeling joyful and excited for Christmas. Overall, I highly recommend this experience—10/10!Written November 9, 2024
- Uncle_perc0 contributionsGreat experience , Definitely worth a visit to both the Statue & Island !We bought our ticket from the ticket office at battery park, we queued for around 15 minutes to board the ferry as they have a security which you need to go through. Once on board you can get drinks etc if you want, its a short ride to the statue of liberty, you can see New York City behind you, which you can take great pictures of the scenery etc. There is a museum which explains the making & history of liberty which is very interesting. Once your done looking at everything you can then get the ferry to Ellis Island, this is a very interesting place, you go into the building on the right hand side collect a handset which guides you around the building explaining what happened there when the immigrants would arrive. Its very interesting, I found it very informative as I didn't know the history of it. You then get the ferry back to Battery Park. Enjoy!Written November 5, 2024

Our tour guide was John Block. As they had no other booking for our time slot we were lucky enough to get a 1 on 1 tour. We started at battery park and finished at the 911 memorial site. John is a local who has lived here for 50 odd years. This showed with the amount of information and quirky little stories he gave us about all sorts of things. As he will admit himself he is a guy who can and loves to talk, which is a good attribute for a tour guide! He was extremely friendly and even gave us some general tips on how to make the city work for us in terms of transport and not overpaying for things etc. lovely guy and made our experience really nice. Highly recommended.

We purchased our tickets online for the All-Access 9/11: Ground Zero Tour, Memorial and Museum, One World Observatory and there were NO lines. We had a wonderful tour guide (Russell Roubin) and when it was time to go in - we were taken to the door, tickets scanned with immediate entry. The park is beautiful, leaving a calm serene feeling of peace. The museum is underground and the displays are sobering... twisted steel and the staircase stand out. Multiple walls of pictures dedicated to all the fallen souls with a short video summarizing their regular lives was especially touching. The museum and park that were built in the years since the tragedy of 9/11 is a stark reminder to all of us, and something everyone should visit at some point in their lives.

Host was unwelcoming. rushed , under prepared and was more interested in Financial District than Memorial site. Not interested in helping us with sorting out issues to gain entry to Observation Deck. We were asked to change our times and be upgraded but we feel we had a sub satisfactory tour. There was no upgrade!

If you haven't been to New York in over 15 years, go to ground zero quickly. It's changed a lot and it's a beautiful and serene place to visit. There is something solemn about worshiping at this place that marks history. It's worth the detour.
