This was a superb activity for a group of two adults and three teenagers. Very informative speaker with the architectural commentary a great way to learn about the history of the city. Got very close to the Statue of Liberty which was an added bonus. The snacks and drinks provided on board were of good quality. Strongly recommended.

5 Stars!
We absolutely recommend this cruise as an amazing way to see Manhattan Island by water. The Architect informed us of the key buildings & bridges, history & design. The yacht is beautiful and comfortable. It is easy to move about inside and out. The staff is very attentive. The beverages and snacks were perfect.
The pictures taken while cruising remain the best of our entire vacation.
We scheduled to go on the tour the first full day of our visit. It was ideal for getting our bearings.

Booked this trip for 3 in February for July visit and never received email confirmation. Messaged, emailed and called one week prior to trip to confirm reservation and was finally told after an hour of trying there was no record of my booking. Got a text a few hours before the scheduled departure after I could no longer could attend. No refund, despite no prior confirmations. Out $400. Frequently book tours and have never experienced this level of dishonestly.

Being apprehensive about an "Architecture" cruise as a "Blue Collar" we can now say this is the #1 way to put NYC into perspective. The Architectural historian that narated the trip is a native of New York and was truly amazing.. Beautiful boat that had limited seating to avoid crowding. We are so grateful to have spent a calm unclutterd way to learn this city.

Like so many great cities in the World, the best way to really see New York is from the water. For the casual visitor or tourist, it's sometimes difficult to get a feel for the lie of the land and how the districts and neighborhoods fit together. A boat tour right around the island of Manhattan is a brilliant way to better understand the city.
This cruise is fantastic. Not only do you get to see the whole of Manhattan from the water, but the on-board commentary and narration is a fascinating insight into how the city came to look like it does. The quality of the tour is outstanding. The facilities on board are superb. The service is 100%. Really great value for money and one place that tips and gratuities are genuinely well earned by the crew and staff. This would be my #1 thing to suggest any visitor to New York does when in town.

We looked at a few options for a Manhattan cruise and very pleased we chose the Manhattan Architecture Cruise.

First, the yacht is wonderful with very comfortable seating inside and large glass windows. The outside area at the bow is nice as well. A glass of champagne was included and a bar available with food.

This cruise is 2:45 and the architectural commentary runs for most of it. We found this really unique and interesting with details you would never hear elsewhere.

With so much commentary this is a “quiet” cruise, if you want to chat, go out on the bow. Everyone respected this on our cruise.

A wonderful experience for all, and we were with our daughter and 15-year-old grandson. Circumnavigate Manhattan, with an excellent and most knowledgeable guide. The boat is in excellent condition, a reminder of simpler times. and the seating area allows for social distancing. The crew were friendly and helpful.
Only problem was the noise coming from a table of folks who were more interested in talking then listening to the guide.

The tour offered a unique way to see the city and learn more about the design of some of its most iconic buildings. I’m not at all an architecture person but you can’t help to appreciate the uniqueness and beauty of the buildings. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared a great perspective.

I went with my late-teenage son and we both really enjoyed it. If you’re someone who likes more hands-on or typical tourist attraction type visits, this may not be for you, but we both appreciated the option to view it all “from a distance.” The tour is a bit long, but not much that can be done about that without changing the geography! And it offers an opportunity to see parts of the city one wouldn’t typically visit.

The boat was clean and spacious and it was nice to have the option to go above and below deck. Great choice overall!

This was a great way to learn about NYC and it’s architecture and history. The boat was perfect, if you wanted to sit inside, that was nice, but we decided to sit outside on the bow to get a better view of the sights while still hearing our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, when we could. The boat made it a nice size crowd, we circled all of Manhattan and learned so much. I would highly recommend this tour, except, you have to be aware of a couple of things. Things I hope they can fix:
1) sound system, our tour guide is very interesting, however, it is very difficult to hear him as we sat at the back of the boat and there wasn’t a speaker there. It was easier to hear outside, but it was very windy, so that was difficult to. I would recommend you allow people to Bluetooth into his system and listen on their own AirPods or similar listening devices.
2) we stood at the bow of the boat, the flagpole is not secured at the bottom and cause constant clanging through the boat cruise. Very disruptive, annoying and loud, it detracted from the experience. Please tie it down so that you can stop the added noise.
Again, highly recommended and hopefully these changes can be incorporated so make the cruise even more memorable
I give it 4 stars, it would have been 5 if those things can be addressed for future cruises. Thanks, Tom
