DO NOT BOOK!!! I got engaged on September 5th and have yet to see a single picture and it is now October 9th. They'll blame all delays on COVID-19, which is fine, I understand they may be working with a "skeleton staff", but it is like pulling teeth to get any sort of answer from them. Email is the only route to get in touch with the office and they do not answer... I'm talking a weeks delay in response time which is extremely frustrating. Yes, they have a phone number, but the phone number leads to an answering service who say they'll tell Tim you called and that he will call you back. Shocker, neither my Fiancé nor myself have received a phone call and we have called in multiple times over the course of the month. The only good part about working with this company was our photographer, Miria. She made us feel comfortable and had some great ideas for shots following our engagement. Sadly, I'm not hopefully we'll being seeing any of the photos Miria took on our engagement day. $400 down the drain.

I am a Travel Agent. During a recent New York "Bonding Weekend ",planned for a grandmother and her teenage granddaughter, I booked a photoshoot experience in Soho.( a 1 hr time period at a cost of $480) They were looking forward to sharing the activity and arrived at the meeting point at 10am with egar anticipation. At 10:15, they began calling a provided phone number to find out why the photographer had not arrived. They continued to call for another 20 minutes, but each time the call went directly to voicemail. Disappointed and discouraged, they left the meeting point and continued on with their next planned activity I had used the company Viator to book the activity. Viator had contacted with "I Heart Photography " Although Viator has seen to it that a full refund was provided to the client, no one has provided a reason that IHP did not show up for the prearranged photo shoot or have they provided any explanation whatsoever! This unacceptable behavior not only caused immeasurable disappoint for these clients, but has also tarnished my reputation as a trusted Travel Planner. I took a recent vacation to Hawaii in February 2019. My son and I met Shelby, a local photographer. Shelby was great, prompt, and the photos turned out amazing. Where I feel scammed was that I paid $782 for access to my online gallery of photos and a metal print of one of my prints. I have still not received the metal print and feel like I was scammed. I now can’t get a response or firm confirmation from Gina or Tim on when I should expect my metal print. Very disappointed as I’m relocating to Spain in a few weeks. I would not purchase anything from this company. Horrible communication and response on the back end.

I recently did a surprise proposal photoshoot with IHNY. The photographers Jenn and Lauren made me and my fiancee feel so comfortable during the shoot and were prepared beyond our expectations. Me and my fiancee have never booked a photo shoot before, but the photographers posed us, kept a sharp eye out for details, and were just a lot fun to spend time with. Before the shoot, the team helped ease my nerves by providing me with a plan and details which was perfect to keep the proposal a surprise. Highly recommend!!

We eloped in Grand Central Terminal just before Christmas and couldn't have been happier with the way Karen was able to capture our big day! Our pictures are so romantic and fun, and perfectly capture our style, our genuine happiness, and the grandeur of GCS. My husband and I aren't terribly photogenic, but Karen was able to pose and coach us so we shined. We even got our pictures in time to share with our families at Christmas! I would love to do an anniversary shoot with her elsewhere in NYC! Thanks Karen!

We were visiting NYC with our 3-month old daughter and this was going to be her first real trip, so we decided to capture the memories! I worked directly with Tim to ensure we were able to book for a day that worked for us (on a short notice!) and he was great! I had a promotional code that didn't work when booking but he still granted the promotion! Great logistics experience with IHNY! Then came the day of the shoot! Brandi was our photographer! She could not be any better. She obviously took beautiful pictures (we chose the Brooklyn Bridge Park as our shoot location) but she was so patient. It's not easy to take pictures with a 3-month old but she stayed patient with us. She also spent extra time with us not limiting us to an hour (considering we were with a baby!) Her spirit was amazing and she was a great photographer. We really appreciated it all and thanks for such great photos that we will cherish forever :) I highly recommend IHNY to capture memories for you!

From the moment we met our photographer Jenn at Central Park we knew it was going to be fun. She was easy going and was up for any ideas. We took photos all through Central Park and then moved to Dumbo. The pictures turned out amazing! It made our special day even better. We are beyond thrilled with I Heart New York Photography. I would recommend them to anyone. From questions during the booking to follow up after we got home, they were there to help and offer great suggestions.

Brandi was our photographer and she did an amazing job!!! From beginning to end my experience with this company was wonderful. Coming from California to NYC on vacation and having to do everything remotely was very easy. Love the end result and would use them again!

I honestly have to say, we were a little apprehensive being followed by a photographer around the city and posing in public! We were greeted by Brandi who helped coach us through the session and provided many helpful tips for us to try. She made us feel relaxed and treated our session with great respect and dedicated focus despite the busy surroundings. Brandi's excitement and energy were a great fit for our personalities which made a huge difference in us having an enjoyable session! The professionalism and responsiveness of I Heart NY exceeded our expectations. Communication was personable as we had to relay status with our possible delay in meeting Brandi. The personal interest and excitement I Heart NY provided us captured our essence as a couple!! We couldn't have asked for a better first time experience!! When you want photos to capture that special moment Tim and Karen know how to make this happen in NYC. They were able to help surprise my daughter when she was "suddenly" purposed to by her boyfriend. The pictures captured all the emotions but most importantly they showed the love for each other in the photo-shoot. The settings behind them with NYC in the back ground at Four Freedom Park was unique and priceless!!

Katlyn's senior pictures taken all around NYC were outstanding and we had a blast with the photographers! It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend.

We planned a 10 year anniversary trip to NYC and wanted to make it special so we looked into a photo shoot. I must say, we loved everything about IHNYPhotos! Jenn was our photographer and she made us feel so relaxed, so comfortable and so at ease. We laughed and joked the whole time and she really made us feel special and like we were "real" models and that we were super special. IHNYPhotos was great at contacting us before and after and kept the momentum of making it a special event from beginning to end. It's a great concept and really got us into the mood for the rest of our trip. We had so many wonderful comments from our friends on Facebook after we posted pictures and we couldn't wait to get all of them. I'd recommend getting the album afterwards - just great memories and story starters. It was just a fantastic experience. I recommend it 100%!

These folks are very responsive tailoring the photo-shoot to your personality and wants very well. Pictures came out very well and Tim gave us some wonderful recommendations for things to do while in NYC. During the pre-shoot planning meeting, lots of questions were asked of us in an attempt to nail down our style, which we felt helped quite a bit.

We have some pictures taken with IHNY in New York for our first wedding anniversary in January 2015. We booked the couples package a couple of months in advance of arriving through their website and the team could not have been more helpful, especially since we were travelling from Ireland. We had a pre-arranged meeting place and the team were punctual and super friendly. We visited 3 locations and the guys immediately put us at ease, especially as having your picture taken in public can be quite daunting. The two guys suggested some beautiful shot locations, and were so helpful in advising us of poses etc. The time flew by and it was more like spending a few hours with friends then a photo shoot. They were extremely professional and we'll prepared. On returning home we received a time frame for our pictures, and they were ready on time. The team Skyped us on our return home to advise of the options for the pictures available to us, and the pictures we received and could view in the online gallery were gorgeous. We are beyond happy. We would definitely recommend IHNY to anyone looking for a photographer in NY. So reasonable and the pics were fabulous. Highly recommend!

We had a photoshoot as we wanted something to remember our trip rather than blurry iPhone selfies. We had Karen and another photographer (I can't remember his name but he was absolutely fantastic!!). The communication before the shoot was fantastic and we went into the shoot feeling relaxed about what was going on. Karen asked where we wanted to go, she offered to take us out to Brooklyn for some arty shots but we opted to stay in Times Square and Central park, which was fine for us but it was nice to be given the choice =) Karen also asked if we felt comfortable kissing, as even though we booked as a couple she said some couples feel awkward about it. I was expecting the shoot to be awkward and stiffly posed but they made us feel so relaxed and we soon eased into it and blocked out everyone around us. We had a great time and I highly recommend using these people to take some photos. They are fantastic and you probably won't get much better for the price!
