I thoroughly enjoyed the semi private tour with Jonathan. He was very informative and had a great personality. I would definitely recommend to those who easily get overwhelmed on large museums. I can’t wait to go back and explore more.

Phenomenal experience with Katherine - a 2 hour private tour of the Met that turned into 3 hours because the tour was so entertaining. My two 11-year-old kids, my husband and I enjoyed every minute. Katherine is a gifted storyteller who not only explained the history behind the art but also explained its relevance to today. Such a pleasant day!

We loved our tour through the MET with Matt! He gave us a lot of history on New York and the building, as well has how the MET acquired it's works of art over time. Less about paintings and the art works, more about the history of the MET. We loved it!

Katherine was our tour guide and she was fantastic. We had a small 7 person group which was easy to maneuver around the museum. She was very knowledgeable in art history and the details of the artists - background, when and why art was created. We were provided a wealth of information that helped to understand the collections.

This was our third private tour with Babylon tours over the last few years - The British Museum in London, the Louvre, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

Throughout these adventures, we’ve benefited from the knowledge and expertise of top notch guides. Mark, our guide on our tour of the Met, was the best of all. He was not only able to distill the massive content of the Met into a meaningful 2 hour experience, but his enthusiasm and kindness really brought the Met to life. We loved this tour and the way Mark lead us through it.

Thank you Mark! We look forward to another tour with Babylon before long.

Katherine provided an outstanding tour that highlighted some of the Met’s most important works and provided a great historical perspective and context. It’s evident that Katherine loves her work and enjoys sharing her love of art with her guests. The tour was very well done and the time flew by. I highly recommend this tour.

We had Mark as our guide and we had a great privite tour. As an artist, Mark was particularly knowledgeable about the nuances of the great art that we saw. Mark was able to adjust to our interests and questions taking us to particular ares of our interest, show suspected fakes and iconic images that everyone knows in original. We enjoyed the tour and it was well organized.

This tour helped us make the most of our time at the museum. Katherine was a wonderful guide, so friendly and knowledgeable. She went the extra mile when the tour was over by walking us over to another part of the museum we wished to spend more time in and answering questions. Highly recommend!

Robin was our guide and was wonderful from start to finish!!!
She confirmed details the day before- letting us know about the Met gala set- up so the entrance/ line was different.
She was waiting for us outside the museum ( we were early) and our tour began as soon as we stepped inside the Met. She was knowledgeable , professional and passionate about all the pieces we viewed and we learned soooooo much— grateful to be armed with this knowledge for our next visit to the Met...the museum can be so overwhelming and you learn to navigate it better after this experience.
Thank you so much ,Robin, it was a wonderful way to start my birthday !!! What a gift.

Mark our guide was phenomenal. He knows so much!! His interaction with my 16 year old kept the kid engaged as he looked at all the “old stuff” with his stories and energy. Put on your walking shoes it’s alot! Great museum though and one of our favorite adventures in NYC this holiday season. Mark is an ACE up your sleeve if you visit.
