A Beautiful Night for "A Beautiful Noise"
Starting off across the street at Sardi's for a pre-show cocktail made for the perfect night out to see A Beautiful Noise. I wasn't sure how they would pull off the telling of Neil's life story, entwined with his unparalleled body of work, but it was masterfully done and amazing performances by all. Hoping that Neil's hits would be presented in the glory of his past concerts, I was not disappointed. Will Swenson and Mark Jacoby knocked it out of the park. For a great evening of every classic Neil Diamond songs you can remember, I highly recommend A Beautiful Noise. You will not be disappointed.

    Amazing experience, worth the cost!
Worth every penny! Took my Broadway- obsessed tweens and we spent a few hours here, it greatly exceeded my expectations. The displays are thoughtful, meaningful, interactive, and fun. You won’t just see old relics behind glass, you walk through history and productions. My 11 year old loved dancing to West Side Story! We had a blast and will for sure be returning. If you love Broadway, past and present, this is a must-do. I was hesitant at first because of the cost but it was well worth it, highly recommend!

    Busy, busy, busy
We came here a couple of times back in June to take in the overall atmosphere and all the billboards advertising the latest shows on this famous part of Manhattan. It's all pretty busy here at most times of the day. In the evenings you have theatre guests milling around as they move to the shows they decided to see. I went to the Golden Theatre earlier in the day to see if they had any of the advertised cheaper seats to see Jodie Cromer in Prima Facie. They hadn't... I, for one, found the ticket prices ridiculously expensive. But that didn't stop my son shelling out on a ticket to see the Lion King at the Minksoff theatre. He enjoyed this musical immensely and even bought some of the merchandises. The streets around here are bustling with many street vendors selling fast food, drinks etc. All very lively.

    🎶 Sweet Caroline...Bam Bam Bam 🎶
The show was a wonderful experience! A musical dedicated to the music of Neil Diamond. The gentleman who played Neil, young and old did a phenomenal job. It was very entertaining and the music sounded great!

    I'm a Believer!
A Beautiful Noise is engaging in every moment, naturally and easily invoking the whole spectrum of emotions. Your heart will soar as it remembers all the greatest hits, but after the eye-opening revelations in this brilliant musical, I bet you'll listen differently to the songs you've known for so many years. The story is cleverly told through conversations between Neil (now) and his therapist, the intimacy of which are so palpable, it feels like the audience is eavesdropping. As he reflects on his life, Neil (then) superbly brings those reflections alive with a truly perfect and respectful emulation. Bravo!

    We love Broadway!
We didn't realise just how long Broadway is! It stretches from the top to the bottom of New York. Theatres, Times Square, shops, lots to see and do.

    Wonderful museum!
I absolutely love Broadway, and I learned so many new things about it here! It was so wonderful seeing real costumes and props, and I loved the photo-op scenes! I wish I’d gone with a friend so I could have done more of them and not relied on strangers to get pix of me, haha!

    Dinner & A Show
A friend had posted how much they enjoyed this show. Read up about it, all reviews were positive, so decided to purchase tickets. Each actor played their parts very well. They make a good ensemble. We are familiar with the Jaws movie, so enjoyed it even more. It was interesting as you learned about the actors behind the scenes. 95 minutes. No intermission. Would recommend. Had a delightful dinner at Trattoria Trecolori before the show, which I would also recommend.

    Excellent
The lead singer had the amazing ability to make you think you were listening to Neil Diamond himself! The choreography was energetic and fun. The cast engaged the audience beautifully. The orchestra did an amazing job throughout, and then a great ménage at the end of the show.

    Man, That's Rock and Roll!
This was a wonderful musical! The choreography was special and the singing superb. It was an abbreviated story of Alan Freed. He was a deejay who began playing "black music" on the white radio station and subsequently grew quite a following. He coined the term "rock and roll". He got into trouble for having integrated dance parties. All of the cast performed well. The man who played Alan was believeable in the role. There was even character of J. Edgar Hoover. The ensemble players were just flawless. They had the joint rocking and rolling!! I'd see it again if it is still playinng when I return to NYC.

I went to the show with my friend. At first, I wasn't sure whether I will enjoy it or not as I am not into musicals. I absolutely loved it. The theatre was a bit cold. I kept my jacket on. I was terribly jet lagged, but managed to keep my eyes open!

This person sitting in front of me refused to take her hat off when I asked her kindly because I could not see. I got the manager after the play had started who told me that hats were not allowed during the performance. However, when he went to ask her to remove it, she refused and the staff instead gave me a booster seat!

I have since contacted the manager, via email, as they refused to call me over the phone. They would not refund my money back.

Here was my view of the whole play!

I booked my 2 shows well in advance because all of them get snapped up in no time. This area is amazing and tourist or not, a visit is vital. I found the tickets outrageously expensive. And avoid those tuktuk pedal bikers, they are too pricey. I understand everyone needs to make a living but it’s beyond ridiculous as i stupidly paid 180$ to get me 5 blocks away.

We went to this show at the request of an older broadway and play loving friend. While the singing was the most beautiful ever heard, I just couldn’t get into the story. It didn’t end the way I wanted, thought it was going to be more Beauty and the Beast ending. It was a bit more 80s than I thought it would be. We did sit under the chandelier and that was cool!
People who love opera and plays will love it! It was t for me.

I purchased tickets through trip advisor because I was able to get cheaper tickets. I was hesitant because I was not able to choose my exact seat. But it turns out my seat was front and center. It was a most immersive experience. It felt like I was with the actors on stage.

A thoroughly fantastic experience from beginning to end. No trip to New York is complete without a Broadway musical and this did not disappoint.
The cast was sensational and the transit in to the theatre was seamless.
We stayed at the Intercontinental, Times, Square, so the walk to and from the theatre was less than 100 yards.

Wow! Fabulous performance by all. This was my daughter's dream. She has loved the Phantom since she first heard the music, then saw the movie, and read the book. Everything about the show was wonderful.
The only negative part was the tiny little seats in the mezzanine. As larger people, we were so squeezed into the seats that it caused bruises on my daughter's thigh. And my knees were buried into the seat in front of me. I know the theater is old (1927) and it is also beautiful.
Overall I wouldn't have missed it.

I have seen the Phantom of the Opera in Denver which I adored. However, seeing the musical on Broadway is another experience altogether. It was the definition of theatrical. So well done, so talented. I am glad we were able to experience it prior to its 2023 closing.

We had never quite got round to seeing this in London so when the chance of tickets came up in New York we thought we would find out what all the fuss was about. All I can say is WOW. The staging, sets, costumes were all outstanding as were the three lead singers (and the supporting cast) If you want to see a big show , could not recommend more highly .
One tip though - arrive early as long security queues to get in.

We dropped by one afternoon and picked up tickets for the next evenings show. We really enjoyed it. The music, sets and acting were great. While we were near the top we were in the center and could see fine. The only complaint I had was when we were trying to leave it took us a little extra time as my wife had a medical boot on her foot. The staff just yelled that we needed to leave not seeming to care that we were moving as fast as we could. It would have been nice to have had a little help.
