About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Michelle H0 contributionsNew York tourWe had a 2 day tour with Brian. We went to several sites. He was amazing! We wouldn't have been able to have such an amazing trip without his knowledge and guidance. I highly recommend him!Written November 15, 2018
- Janelle A0 contributionsBrian was the perfect guide for the experienceWe had a limited time between getting off a cruise ship and making an afternoon flight. Brian was an excellent guide who skillfully maneuvered through New York City traffic to get us to some of the must-see sights in New York. He is very knowledgeable and told us history about New York and some of the sights. It was the perfect way to get an overview of the city and we were able to keep our luggage secure while making a few stops to walk around. I highly recommend Brian for your next visit to New York!Written October 21, 2018
- bookerchick0 contributionsA tour of Liberty Island and Ellis Island with Brian Fisher of NYC Guide ProBrian met us at our Hotel, walked us through NY Subway ticket purchasing and provided subway navigation instruction plus a wealth of history regarding the subway system. The historical information started with a history of the hotel where we were staying and continued throughout the tour. He is definitely our "go-to" guide on all future visits to NYC and we'll be recommending him to all of our friends. This guy is a true history buff with a true love of his city. He delivers detailed information with a slight but easily detectable New York accent which adds immensely to the experience. Too many of the guides we overheard while walking with Brian were trying to hard to be funny and entertaining. Brian has a no-nonsense delivery and what I would call a dry sense of humor and is easy on the ears. We give him an excellent review and will be seeing him quite often in the futureWritten June 16, 2018
- janebinaustin0 contributionsFantastic NYC Custom TourWe can't say enough good things about Brian our tour guide and the service he provided. He catered to our every need and request that we had during the tour (patiently). Brian was extremely knowledgeable, informative an interesting, making the city come alive for us. And to top it all off our 7 hour custom tour was at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Brian and New York Guide Pro. Jane & Cheri from Texas.Written June 3, 2018
- Derek C0 contributionsGreat tour of Central ParkDespite the pouring rain, Brian was an incredible tour guide taking us through Central Park, regaling us with the history of the Park. His stories and snippets really enhanced an enjoyable stroll. I highly recommend him!Written May 20, 2018
- lindas31920160 contributionsWelcome to NYC!My friend hired Brian who kindly picked us up at LaGuardia when we arrived in NYC and gave us a car and walking tour of any and all NYC sites we previously sent to him. Not only was Brian friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, but he gave us so much information about NYC, that by the time he dropped us at our hotel, we knew NYC well, and could get around safely on our own. His personal stories about 9/11 are very touching, and we saw everything on our list, which was a lot! Brian even had a lunch spot picked out for us, and the food and the scenery were excellent. The vehicle was also very clean and comfortable, and water bottles were supplied. I would recommend Brian to anyone visiting NYC for the first time. What a great first experience in NYC!Written May 1, 2018
- Tony G0 contributionsNYC GANGSTER TOUR WITH BRIANThis Italian Mafia/Chinatown tour was amazing. Brian Fisher was exceptional. Brian kept this tour so so interesting and he is a wealth of knowledge. He knows his mafia history so well but he makes the tour so fun. He brings a book with pictures of the individuals he is speaking about. Brian takes you to different sites to add to the information he is speaking about. The tour is a little over 2 hours but I personally would've stayed a lot longer. I am a history buff myself but for people that aren't, Brian keeps the material easy to follow and you find yourself amazed at what he knows. This tour was definitely a nice change from museums.Written March 1, 2018
- b2dmsag0 contributionsGrand Central Terminal, Park Avenue, Library and Bryant Park TourWe've always been interested in learning the history of Grand Central Terminal and its surrounding area. I contacted Brian, and he custom made our tour for us! We learned the history of the Grand Central Terminal and the renovation initiated by Jackie Onassis. We found out the origins of the NYC grid, and why the streets and avenues are named how they are (and why the streets in Lower Manhattan have names and not numbers and letters!). Although the Terminal was our main focus, Brian walked us around the area and filled our heads with fun details and stories. We sat outside the NYC Main Public Library and learned so much about the architecture and the statues out front. Brian informed us about how Bryant Park became the thriving area that it is today (compared to the 1970's). He also told us something about Bryant Park that many folks do not know who live in NYC. Brian met us at our rental apartment, and the four hours we spent with him went by too fast! Needless to say, next time we're up in the city I will contact Brian to take us to someplace that I want to learn more about that is not on the "beaten" path. Whether it is your first visit to NYC, or if you're familiar with the city Brian will teach and tell you things that will amaze. I recommend spending at least some of your touring time with him so as to maximize your learning experience.Written December 22, 2017
- Navigator8880 contributionsCustomised tour for a family of 3 generationsMy family spent 3 and a half days with Brian touring Greenwich Village, the 9/11 Memorial, Central Park, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island as well as the Gangster Tour round Little Italy and China Town. He made it so interesting for all 9 of us, keeping us engaged the whole time, from the octogenarians, to the teens and the 9yr old. He was mindful of our slower pace and was extremely patient and accommodating. He adapted the tour to suit accordingly. Having personally been to NYC before, I can definitely say it was worth booking Brian and I would highly recommend him. Thanks to his infinite knowledge and his tremendous passion for the city, one can learn and hear stories about people and places we would have otherwise overlooked or taken for granted. His heartfelt account of that tragic day at the 9/11 Memorial was for me personally the most moving. If we had more time we'd have done more tours! Thank you, Brian!Written November 10, 2017
- Linda M0 contributionsCustomized tour of NYCBrian Fisher was our guide of New York City. He customized our tour in Manhattan to show us the sites we requested-Battery Park, Statue of Liberty, The Federal Building, Wall Street, and The 911 Memorial. He also guided us as we bought passes and traveled on the Subway to maximize our time. He took us to a fantastic deli when we requested to have lunch! I would highly recommend Brian as your personal guide to New York City.Written October 7, 2017
- FamousAmos270 contributionsBrian FisherBooked Brian for my 8 year old daughter and I for two days. He did a great job taking us all over the city. I mentioned a movie my daughter enjoys and Brian watched the movie and pointed out locations throughout our tour where the movie was filmed. He was always on time and very professional. He's also very tall, so you can always spot him in a crowd!! Would highly recommend him for a tour.Written September 5, 2017
- Julie C0 contributionsBRIAN Fisher - Gangster tourMy friend and I recently did the gangster tour of New York and BRIAN was our guide. It was one of the best things I have done since being here in NY. BRIAN was so entertaining and his knowledge was fantastic. He was able to answer any questions that were asked and the time just flew by. I would highly recommend this company and especially BRIAN as your guide when you come to New York.Written June 26, 2017
- Cindy C0 contributionsBrian Fischer3 couples went to NYC for a weekend get away. 4 of us 6 hadn't been there before. We wanted a tour of the 9/11 area as well as the financial district. A person could just go to that area & wander, but you would miss so much. Our guide (Brian Fisher) made everything so much more interesting. He is definitely a man that knows his history & remembers so many facts & details. He also had personal connections with many that died on 9/11 & he worked in that area in 2001. He was a fun guy to hang out with for the morning & gave us many NYC tips for the remainder of the stay. He even told us to call him if we had any questions or problems during the rest of our stay. Our only regret is that we didn't get to see the 9/11 museum. We should have purchased our tickets prior to the tour. If you just show up at the museum, there is a long line to get in (the guide estimated an hour wait in line.) Dress warm if your planning a winter tour! The wind gets cold down in that part of the city!Written December 6, 2016
- kimwilt0 contributionsGreat Tour guide!I recently planned a trip to New York for my mom and her best friend. I hired Brian with NYC Guide Pro for a 3 day customized private tour for them. Brian was amazing. Always right on time, very patient, provided lots of great information and stories about the city, suggested places to eat and designed a perfect itinerary for their visit. I would highly recommend Brian.Written October 15, 2016

We only had one full day in New York and we wanted to explore a variety of places, so we sent Brian our checklist spots and he not only took us there, but, he explained the history, significance and beauty of each. The tour was long, but never boring. What I appreciated most about Brian being our tour guide, was not only interactive history lessons, but the personal stories he could contribute to each place we visited, especially the 9/11 memorial. Brian listened to our needs throughout the day and did everything possible to ensure we had the perfect tour. The experience he provided is simply unmatched! He answered every question we had and made sure we got some amazing photos along the way. Thanks again, Brian! We had a blast!

All 5 of us were thrilled with our time touring with Brian. He helped customize our trip to pick us up at the airport and give us a partial day introduction to the city. Then the next day we learned to use the subway and saw many great sites as we gradually made our way to the 9/11 memorial and Oculus. At the memorial he shared some of the heroic and heartbreaking stories surrounding that event and what followed. Brian's tour made us so much more comfortable in getting around for the last few days of our trip. When any of us go to NYC again or if any of our friends visit, we will certainly contact Brian. THANKS SO MUCH!

We wanted to maximize the time we had in NYC and booking with Brian let us set the time and what we visited. In addition to personalizing the tour for us, he shared personal experiences and stories of the people that he knew in the city. We even met one man at the 9/11 site that left us in tears. I would recommend this tour over any tour I took of the city. Brian let us set the pace in walking, let us choose what we wanted to eat, (and the place he took us was clean and delicious, and we didn't wait), and made sure we didn't miss special views or details that we would've missed with a big tour.

Communications with Brian was easy and his replies were prompt. From writing emails to this man, to meeting him in person, he made sure that you know what he is doing and why he is doing it too. A very comforting feeling to deal with a person who is up-front with you. He is kind and considerate, but then he is over knowledgable. He only shares a New York that he loves deeply. He makes you laugh, he makes you tear-up, his stories are wonderful and he shares them with love and depth of emotion. He is the guy who is not just doing a job for the buck. He is the guy who shares his heart and soul about NYC with you, because that's what he loves to do. I hope you are open hearted too and have the same wonderful sharing experience with him also. I have seen so much of the city and never felt that I am lost or have lost out on things I would have wanted to see. For the time we were together, he never looked at his cell phone and that was very important to me. This respect deserves the same from his guests.

Our guide, Brian Fisher, did an amazing job showing us just what we wanted to see in New York City. His knowledge of the city and its history made the tour come to life. What a joy it was to have him as a guide.

Stop Book Brian, the best. We had seen a lot of the norm you see for the first time. He made our trip about what we wanted to see and do. He met us at hotel, 10 of us, don’t worry you will each hear him and he also spends time with each person. Knows everything about New York. You will find out things that are funny and that you want believe. Without his help you will be just seeing, with him you’ll know about and see. He takes time for ladies to stop for restroom and restaurants. You’ll never miss him, taller than the rest of us and a true New Yorker. So many were questioning my decision to do this and have been so pleased afterwards. You pick the area of New York and he will accommodate your needs. Small elderly group no promblem. Large crazy group like ours lots of fun. Don’t do New York with out Brian. Have fun
