Stunning experience of all things mobster. Joel was superb with his style and fast paced delivery. Great insight on the history of the people and the area. We were even blessed with an appearance of a modern day local “character” towards the end of the tour. Magical experience, would highly recommend.

The tour showed original locations of mafia history in New York. The guide was able to take people back in time with his stories. He convinced with a great background of knowledge. For fans of mafia movies, this tour is a must and a one hundred percent recommendation!

Joel is extremely knowledgeable and his delivery of history and facts is spell binding. I was super impressed with the dates he provided and the depth of detail. The only issue was that it was extremely cold. My sister and I had to stop by 1 and missed China Town. Next time!

Have been dying to go to this tour since NYC is so rich in culture and history. My husband and I arrived and were greeted by Joel, he was extremely welcoming and provided us with some neat brochure with related info in it. We hit all the important spots of the tour plus some local food favorites! Joel was so insightful and light hearted it made the tour a complete breeze! We finished off in Chinatown and Joel was kind enough to make sure everyone knew where they were going afterwards and wouldn’t get lost. Great tour!!!

We took the Gangster and Mob Tour with Joel, it’s was really brilliant. Joel is very informative and was very open to any questions. He provided great recommendations for food around little Italy and Chinatown which were very good. If you’re taking the Gangster and Mob Tour I would not hesitate to request him as guide!

Our guide was so fun and very knowledgeable. It was a rainy day but he messaged us the morning of reminding us to bring umbrellas and during the tour he made sure to find shelter we could stand under while he told us stories. He liked to do some impersonations of the gangsters and that was a nice touch. After the tour he talked with us for a while and continued to answer our questions. Would really recommend if you’re into learning about the fringe!

first and foremost, our guide Joel was wonderful and very informative. He was also very animated which i loved because we may know how melancholy some guides can be but not Joel! Very in depth with key points and never was slow to answer any of our questions. Very great Tour.

If organised crime is of interest to you then this is the tour for you. Joel, our tour guide, took time to get to know us and take us through the history of the mafia before we set off. The tour is well paced and is at times amusing with anecdotes and grizzly stories that paint a picture of what Little Italy was like as it became more and more populated. The location is right where a lot of mob hits took place and covers their hangouts. Plenty facts as Joel is an expert with well rehearsed and researched topics. I recommend it.
