    Fantastic tour and considerate host
Wanted to add my voice to the chorus celebrating the Art Deco tour run by Jeremy. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge and very responsive to questions, but my dad and I took the tour on a particularly hot summer day and he made a point of altering his route to keep up in the shade, even taking a shortcut underground to make sure we didn’t spend too much time in the sun. My only note would be that I’d suggest it may be good for him to use a small clip-on mic for the tour as some locations he took us to were quite loud and had me straining to hear, but for all I know there may be regulation around this. I’d still easily give this tour five stars and strongly recommend to anyone with even a passing interest in architecture.

Recommendable Art Déco & Architecture tour in Midtown NYC :-)
We had a great tour with Jeremy Wilcox for Art Déco & Architecture in Midtown NYC. He is an excellent, professional guide with a very deep knowledge about the different buildings and history :-)) It was one of the best memories of our NYC trip! Even days after the tour we talked about it when we passed by one of the buildings :-)) It was so much detailed information about these buildings we would even not have paid attention to when passing by on our own. Absolutely recommendable tour :-) 6 stars in a 5-star-rating ;-))

A must take tour of midtown Manhattan
This was really one of the highlights of our trip to New York. Jeremy is a passionate and eloquent guide that inspired everybody in the group. While you are walking in midtown Manhattan, you think you already know a lot, but the things we've learned are enormous.

    Informative and Interesting!
Jeremy really knows his New York architectural history. He used visual aids that he brought with him to further describe certain styles and details which are difficult or impossible to see from the ground. We saw buildings we would not have seen if we didn't go on this tour and we now have a better understanding of their significance in the history of Art Deco in New York!

    Excellent!
This was a great experience. Jeremy is very knowledgeable but his tour does not overwhelm with facts and information. The walking pace was comfortable and he gives enough historical insight for context and, more than that, points out small details about architecture and decoration that make the tour colourful and memorable. Our group consisted of only ourselves and one other couple so it was a very personal experience. Highly recommend!

    Something different
A wonderful tour around midtown Manhattan that took us beyond the obvious to some of the real hidden gems of Manhattan's beautiful deco architecture. Both informative and fascinating. I couldn't recommend this tour any higher. Treat yourself to Jeremy's knowledge and passion for history and style.

Fun and Education Street Art Tour!
My 12 year old son and I loved our private LES street art tour with Jeremy. He was extremely knowledgable and was able to show us so much art in just a couple hours. We really enjoyed seeing commissioned and permissioned street art by some well-known artists, as well as more temporary pieces by lesser known artists. We also learned some neighborhood history. Thank you Jeremy.

Wonderful insights into midtown Manhattan Art Deco architecture
Jeremy Wilcox is an excellent guide, guiding us on an informative and fascinating tour of midtown Manhattan's Art Deco architecture. He was well informed about each building and its features and history. He also answered any and all questions asked by members of our group, even questions not related to Art Nouveau, with deep knowledge. The tour worked well both for newbies (like me) and for architecture buffs. Highly recommended!

    Just fantastic!
Hands down the best walking tour we've ever taken. By the time it was finished, we felt like Brooklyn locals!! Jeremy is still incredibly knowledgeable and informative. In fact we were so impressed we've booked his Manhattan tour in two days time!

    Enjoyed our walking tour!
Our day was partly cloudy which offered wonderful viewing and not too hot. Our guide, Jeremy, was so knowledgeable and excited to show us the buildings and his passion. The pace was fine for all of us including my 80-year-old mother. Jeremy had a binder of close-up photos that he showed as a way to explain the details on very high buildings. Our group had 10 people, which was a perfect number and Jeremy kept us moving along at a reasonable pace. Wish I had remembered my hat, but otherwise a great experience.

Architecture buff to newbie - a great tour and an engaging guide. You’ll be glad you went!
What an excellent tour! I loved it. Jeremy was a fantastic guide pointing out not only great gems of art deco architecture but also gave us full context of the genre among other architecture styles, pointed out points of interest you wouldn’t notice without the tour, and presented historical pictures so we had full appreciation of what we were seeing. I loved it as an architecture buff, and my friend who was just along for the experience thoroughly enjoyed it as well!

The concept of this tour was very good. There was a lot of interesting information about the park that was shared. My experience was not so great though. Jeremey walked so fast, I couldn't keep up with him. And I wasn't the only one he left in the dust. Once I got to the location, he had already begun his presentation. He often showed images on an iPad, which was hard to see because the sun glared on the screen. At one point, I sat down to rest a moment and he and the group were gone. He didn't attempt to contact me to help me get reconnected with the group. I felt like he didn't care if anyone heard what he said, he just kept trecking along and if you fell behind you just lost out. If you are a fast walker, this tour is for you.

I appreciate your candid review, and will take some points into consideration. I do believe, however, that this was an outlier experience and my years of 5-star reviews speak for themselves. I do wish to clarify that the tour maintains a very average pace (not too fast, not too lingering), and that I announce to all after each stop that we are moving on to the next, and in which direction the tour is proceeding. In the future, to avoid the confusion and upset feelings that occurred near the end of this recent tour, if I notice a customer is not capable of keeping pace with the group, I will work to discreetly speak to them at a stop, and let them know the options.

‘Jeremy’ arrived to meet us with the biggest smile! Only us 3 (me, hubby & son) on the tour. A wonderful morning spent . Jeremy was so knowledgable about the Park and NYs history . His file full of pictures gave a great insight into the design, build and makeup of Central Pk. 100% recommend the tour - with Jeremy. NB: the horse carriages and pedicabs can’t access the majority of Park areas - walking is the only way 😉

I love a walking tour, and this is the best I've been on! Jeremy shared so much interesting information and answered all of our questions about Central Park and NYC. It was a lovely walk, and he made sure we had rest breaks when needed. Highly recommended.

We did the Central Park Walking Tour early January with Jeremy as our guide.
What a great tour and definitely well worth doing, we had all been to Central Park before but this tour really gave us an insight to the history of the park and many interesting facts and old photos to see how the park and surrounding New York looked back then.
Jeremy was a wonderful guide and we would highly recommend. Meeting place was also very easy to find.

We did a tour of CP, and it could not not have been better. I have lived in NYC for almost a decade, and I still learned so much. The tour was informative, fun and not static. I liked the tour so much that I plan to do future walking tours with the company.

Our family booked the walking tour and we were lucky enough to have Jeremy as our guide. His knowledge of the Park was really amazing and he even showed us pictures now and then on the route of what it looked like long ago. He was patient and answered all of our questions. The length of the tour was just right. This was a very good value for the price!

My wife and I were so pleased to invest time in the walking tour hosted by Jeremy. His commentary was so interesting and as consequence we gained understanding of origin and impact of the park on New York and the city. A highlight of our visit to NYC.
