Our guide, Jeremy, knows Central Park like the back of his hand and gave us a great tour showing us all the points of interest. Very helpful with questions and trivia, route was easy to walk with places to stop for water and take lots of photos. Would definitely recommend to both locals and New York first timers.

Jeremy gave the best, most informative tour to my friends and me of Central Park. He had answers to every single one of our questions, took his time, and boy did we get our money's worth. I would recommend this tour to all! Thanks, Jeremy!!

‘Jeremy’ arrived to meet us with the biggest smile! Only us 3 (me, hubby & son) on the tour. A wonderful morning spent . Jeremy was so knowledgable about the Park and NYs history . His file full of pictures gave a great insight into the design, build and makeup of Central Pk. 100% recommend the tour - with Jeremy. NB: the horse carriages and pedicabs can’t access the majority of Park areas - walking is the only way 😉

We did the Central Park Walking Tour early January with Jeremy as our guide.
What a great tour and definitely well worth doing, we had all been to Central Park before but this tour really gave us an insight to the history of the park and many interesting facts and old photos to see how the park and surrounding New York looked back then.
Jeremy was a wonderful guide and we would highly recommend. Meeting place was also very easy to find.

Our family booked the walking tour and we were lucky enough to have Jeremy as our guide. His knowledge of the Park was really amazing and he even showed us pictures now and then on the route of what it looked like long ago. He was patient and answered all of our questions. The length of the tour was just right. This was a very good value for the price!

My friend and I took the Central Park walking tour (we'd been in the park before, but wanted to learn more about it), and we are so happy. We not only saw many sections we'd missed on our own, but learned the amazing backstory of this park. It is a work of art!
Our guide also answered our (many!) questions, and allowed for a short break when we needed it. Loved seeing all the wildlife too... turtles and birds. Guide made our journey through the park fun and memorable, and I loved our tour.

The transformation from the crowded and noisy city to the quiet and peaceful of the central park gardens is always shocking , in a good way . Many new yorkers and tourist from all the countries find there refuge during the visit or lunch time , when they are looking for a way to find some peace .

My wife and I were so pleased to invest time in the walking tour hosted by Jeremy. His commentary was so interesting and as consequence we gained understanding of origin and impact of the park on New York and the city. A highlight of our visit to NYC.

I will be in NYC as part of a choir that will sing in Carnegie Hall on April 28th. Rehearsals require most of our time but we will have Saturday AFTERNOON, after 1 p.m. as our free time. Will this tour be available after 1 p.m. on Sat, April 27th?

Just saw this question. Since there is a specific request for a tour that date, I can add availability for it. I will be unavailable that day, but my colleague Bob can lead the tour in my absence and has my highest confidence. I'll have it available for booking ASAP.
Thanks.

Does the walking tour include the zoo?
Jeremy W

The walking tour does pass by the Zoo near the beginning of the tour, and includes some commentary & historical photos on its history as we pass by, but it does not include admission to the zoo, if that is what you mean.
