- brianvJ4624SB0 contributionsBrianna is a great story teller!Brianna was a fantastic tour guide. She spoke with such enthusiasm and genuine interest at every stop, despite the very cold temperature. My family and I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot about Greenwich village not told in textbooks! It would have been great to go inside a haunted building rather than to just see from the streets, but I still recommend the tour nonetheless.Written December 9, 2024
- Sherpa001745011570 contributionsGreat for the whole familyA great tour for my superhero loving family. John our guide was great, very knowledgable and informative. My husband and teens loved it. I enjoyed the historical aspects of it. It was an early evening tour so temp was in the 30s F. Made it a bit difficult for us southern californians. Luckily my husband made a quick hot choc grab n go along the way.Written December 9, 2024
- Family M0 contributionsPrivate Statue of Liberty Tour Worth itPatrick was very informative, pleasant, and helped us get the best photos. He made it so interesting by providing the history of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Really enjoyed the tour. Would definitely recommend everyone to take advantage of this private tour.Written December 6, 2024
- plbbh010 contributionsGreat tour, and tour guide!Cameron was our tour guide & he was professional, very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we really enjoyed our tour! We would highly recommend this tour! Thank you so much, Cameron.Written December 5, 2024
- brynnbrothers0 contributionsA great intro to Greenwich villageIt was cold and windy but we still had a great time! Cecilia was mindful about the cold and suggested we grab a hot beverage at the start and a half way point. They were also mindful about where the group gathered in terms of wind and sidewalk traffic, which I really appreciated. The stories and history were interesting! I enjoyed learning about the history of Greenwich Village and was really impressed that she acknowledged the Lenape people and the first ones in the area.Written December 4, 2024
- G7605IGpaulg0 contributionsSuperhero walkWent on this tour as my son is a major superhero fan. Can’t believe how much I enjoyed this tour as well! Our tour guide, Cameron, was excellent company. Really informative and engaging. He took us to several sights based on Marvel and DC films and comics, and passed on great stories and anecdotes. I can highly recommend this tour, it’s not walking for miles and none up hill. If you even have a passing interest in the superhero genre then you will get a lot out of this. Loved it.Written November 28, 2024

- BeeSS530 contributionsGood Tour with Buy-Your-Own-EatsCameron was a knowledgeable tour guide and took us to interesting eateries. My only complaint is that the description of the tour did not state that no tastings were included and all food needed to be purchased. It was fine and actually about the same cost of an $80 tour that included tastings at 5-6 places. Just a good idea for this to be stated in the tour description.Written November 27, 2024
- Cruiser253752403380 contributionsGreat Greenwich TourLots of great information provided by our friendly tour guide. We enjoyed seeing some of the hot spots, as well as hearing the stories that put them on the map. Highly recommend taking the tour!Written November 19, 2024

- Z3718WAisaacf0 contributionsReally interesting and informative tourJohn was absolutely lovely and an amazing tour guide, really knowledgeable and chatty. Helped by the fact that there was only the 2 of us and him so it felt like a really personal experience. Thankyou John!Written November 17, 2024
- KeyT1390 contributionsIt was...a tour.2.5, rounded up to 3. The tour had a lot of stops, and each stop *did* have a story (suitably illustrated via iPad photographs), but our guide for the evening, "N," had a rather dry delivery. Histories of the places were glossed over in favor of a bloodless retelling of potential ghost sightings. N seemed tired and in a rush, perhaps because the itinerary is so packed and there are so many places to visit? For a lot of the places, it was hard to get engaged in the storytelling--the section inside Washington Square Park was delivered like a graded recitation--though N did come to life in discussions of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, the Jefferson Market Library, and the notorious House of Death. No time to take photos, so expect a tour at a quick clip. Was sad Stonewall was glossed over/not discussed because it is a huge part of Greenwich Village history. That being said, if you want to take a safe brisk walk through the Village at night, with a few stories in the mix, this is a good tour for that.Written November 17, 2024
- Michael B0 contributionsGreater understanding of immigrationPatrick was very knowledgeable. We learned more than expected. The tour gave a great deal of NYC history and its relationship to immigration. Also, the history of the statue of liberty was covered.Written November 14, 2024
- doodlebugakj0 contributionsVery informative tourWe had Cameron as our guide and he was fabulous. His knowledge and way he told the stories about Greenwich Village were great. Loved how he had a tablet with photos to show us who he was talking about. Thanks for an awesome tour CameronWritten November 10, 2024

We were two families with teen kids, and had a lovely tour with Jordan around the Meatpacking district and HighLine. Jordan was very friendly and informative and made it fun for all of us. The tour was a good pace, we enjoyed the Highline and all its outdoor interest and we had some nice inside stops as well to get a quick drink/cookie or bathroom break. The HighLine is an evolving tourist destination, and the Chelsea market area is trendy with interesting history. Would recommend as a good tour for all ages.

Rory, our guide, was amazing and very knowledgeable. I loved the stories of the history of the area. Chelsea market is lovely and the highline great, even in winter. To me it once again shows the impact ordinary people can make on their world.

My sisters and I have been to NYC several times and have never done this tour. We had Rory for our guide and he was excellent, very informative, relaxed and so interesting. We had a small group of 5 people so was perfect for walking around crowded areas. I loved this tour and will definitely be back to visit Chelsea Market. We walked back to our hotel, 51st and 7th and did most of it on the High Line, which goes to 34th and 15th. Highly recommend the tour and request Rory for your guide.

We very much enjoyed our tour of Chelsea Market, the Meatpacking District and the Highline with Amelia - she was so knowledgeable! Although we were native New Yorkers, we recently returned to NY after being away for almost 20 years with periodic weekend visits - when we had lived here, the Chelsea Market had not existed - Amelia brought it all alive for us - terrific job!

This was a great way to visit Chelsea Market and Highline for the first time. It was nice to relax and have Amelia guide us on a comfortable, informative walking tour. She was friendly and made the experience fun. She packed in lots of facts and stories about the area. Amelia did a fabulous job and I would choose Top Dog and Amelia again!

I don't know about refunds but these are small tours: if you don't show up they need to go home. Out of respect for the guide, only book if you really plan to go. It's really worth it, plan your other stuff around it :)
