Great food tour for the whole family
What a fun and informative afternoon in the West Village. We had three generations with us and there was something for everyone. Our guide Jack was so positive, fun and gave us tons of great history of the area along with taking us to lots of great places to eat. I can’t recommend this tour more highly! And you won’t leave hungry!

    Amazing Tour
We brought a class of high school culinary students to NYC to complete the West Village Food Tour. My half of the group had Jack, who did an amazing job. He interacted with the students and met them at their level, but also gave interesting facts about history, architecture, and the food. All 6 of our stops were amazing. I can't wait to go back with friends and family for another tour.

This was the best tour we have had as a school group. Thank you Jack for being such a good guide! We hope to be able to do this again next year.

Lovely time in the Lower East side
Had a great time on the walk. Being vegetarians we missed out on some of the iconic dishes but the backups were perfectly fine! Learning about the history of the Lower East Side was just as fun as the food!

    lower east side food tour
The choice of restaurants and food was good and Ross did a nice job explaining the Jewish history of the lower east side and how some of the food was prepared. He also was good at making some changes to accomodate various food restrictions. I would recommend the tour to others.

    east village food tour
Our tour guide was extremely kind, courteous and knowledgeable. He kept us intrigued the whole tour and was able to answer any questions we had. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the hygiene and sharing of our portions at the food places. Nowadays with COVID and other ailments running rampant I felt that the way the food was served to us with the other participants on the tour could have been better. Every meal was family style, sometimes we just used our hands and toothpicks to share meals/snacks. While I was watchful of placing the toothpick directly in my mouth the other participants were not, which prevented me from trying more of the food. I felt it was very unsanitary given that I did not know these people. Hopefully this can somehow be fixed in the future to allow for better experience.

We had a great tour, there was food for everyone, even a Vegan restaurant. For that restaurant there was a bit too much food so the team did not eat much after this and our tour guide was amazing Serge Peladeau

Great tour, something a bit different to do
Had a great tour from Lydia. As the only 2 people booked on the tour we had a bit of a customised itinerary, but it was great to hear the history & famous past residents, as well as hang out with a resident new yorker! The 3 pizza sites and 2 beers were great, this part of the city was one of our favourites to explore. All in all a great couple of hours & good value for money

Very educational with so much food!
I really enjoyed this tour, we were a small group of three and Brendan was a fountain of knowledge. There was so much food on this tour (possibly too much but makes it worth the money), it all tasted great and was a great way to learn about the area.

    Great tour from Andrea
Took the Lower East Side food tour, hosted by Andrea. The food was great (especially the Pickle Guys, which we went back to afterwards), and Andrea gave us great insights into the history of the Lower East Side area. Will take another Sidewalks tour when we next return to NY.

    Great way to
I learned so much about the history of the neighborhood, the city, and the food I got to try. All the places we visited were amazing! Finished the tour in the best way possible with Molly cupcakes. Our tour guide Ross was very knowledgeable, he took care of all the party and provided great insights of each of our stops.

Adam was a great tour guide! He accommodated our needs and managed the COVID access restrictions without compromising this experience. My wife and I took this tour with our 2 teenage sons. Everyone left with a full belly and new insights into the history of the area. The integration of historic establishments and their staples with newer eateries helps demonstrate the evolution of the area. Well done!

We really enjoyed our food tour of the Lower East Side with Russ. We stopped at a variety of places, some well known and others that we would never have found on our own. Plus, we learned a lot about the history of the neighborhood. Recommended.

Took this tour as a private group last Sunday. It was really easy to set up even on a day's notice through Josh. Our guide was Matt who was really knowledgable and easy going. The food stops were historical and offered delicious treats. We really got a feel for the neighborhood old and new!

As part of our NY tour, we took this walking tour and Ross was our guide. He was wonderful, with lots of history and commentary on the streets that we walked. Visited Katz Deli, Vanessa’s Dumplings, Essex market, Donut plant, Empanada Mommas, and Roni-Sue’s chocolates. It was wonderful and a definite highlight of our visit. Thank you Ross from the Aussies.
