Had a wonderful afternoon with tour guide Jonathan. His knowledge of New York and the local area was fascinating. The food was delicious and varied, we can’t recommend it enough. A great way to see the city and spend time with a New Yorker.

We really enjoyed this which we booked through Trip Advisor. Our guide, Alec, was very knowledgeable and we went to places and tried food we would never have done on our own. I thought it was excellent value for money. Recommended.

Great tour walked around the area at a good pace not hilly at all. Tour guide Adam the best spoke with confidence never stuttered knew what to say. Energetic. The places we went great food. Katzs deli really is the best in deli. My favorite food was the knish from Yonah Schimmel. Never a knish this good. So happy tour was small and was able to spare a quic amount of time to purchase right there. The place not fancy at all but who care. The other best part of the food we tried was bagel. REallly did enjoy all the goodness. I agree perfect amount of walking was able to sit at some of the places also. A must go if you want to enjoy some great basic Jewish food and a great walk around a not so touristy neighborhood at all. Bring your energy and a great pair of walking sneakers.

Adam was a great tour guide! He accommodated our needs and managed the COVID access restrictions without compromising this experience. My wife and I took this tour with our 2 teenage sons. Everyone left with a full belly and new insights into the history of the area. The integration of historic establishments and their staples with newer eateries helps demonstrate the evolution of the area. Well done!

Took this tour as a private group last Sunday. It was really easy to set up even on a day's notice through Josh. Our guide was Matt who was really knowledgable and easy going. The food stops were historical and offered delicious treats. We really got a feel for the neighborhood old and new!

Fun day with the perfect amount of stops and great variety. Just enough walking in between stops. Great way to try a little bit from many great Lower east side spots! Katz deli was great. Wonderful tour guide Adam made the experience even better! He was friendly and knowledgeable. Great for tourists or locals that want to experience a new neighborhood.

Some friends and I took this tour, and really enjoyed it. A few of the stops were at places that have been around for 100 years or more. We enjoyed knishes, bialys, pastrami sandwiches, halvah, pickles, donuts, dumplings and rugelach. Matt, our friendly tour guide, provided some historical information about the establishments and the Lower East Side area, which added to the experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Alec did an excellent job of providing background for the mostly Jewish establishments and food. If you like the "cuisine" the tour is well rounded. And the guide was enthusiastic and informative.
