This was a phenomenal food tour! I took my mother and we were absolutely astounded by all the fantastic food. Our food tour guide, Lily, was the best tour guide I have experienced. Her natural bubbly nature, her witty remarks and her ability to connect with just about anybody was outstanding to see. She did such a wonderful job during the tour that I noticed the during one of the stops, a person stopped just to ask her how he can access this tour as well. You can tell that Lily is an individual who cares about the history of people that she is representing in the tours about Chinatown/Little Italy. It is more than just the food, it's the knowledge you obtain and it's the people you bond with during the tour. I am so glad that I went on the food tour via Ahoy NY. This was a wonderfully curated experience, from the Jasmine green tea in the beginning of the tour to the tasty cannolis at the end. The tour did not disappoint- great small local merchants that I would never have thought to visit. Good food and definitely worth the price (WAY too much food!) Liz was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this tour!

Our guide Liz was excellent, we thought her knowledge was exceptional. She was super helpful and catered for some dietary needs which was much appreciated. We were well looked after, this was our lunch, and didn't need to eat again until dinner time!

We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Liz this past Saturday at Pier 57. As locals, we are always excited to find new ways to explore the city, and this was such a gem of a tour! We sampled so many delicious things and were introduced to fantastic new vendors, all while getting some interesting local history and information about the vendors from Liz! (Liz was also just such a fun and buoyant personality; the tour flew by like we were old friends who have known each other for years!) Can’t wait to join another tour!

Tried many new, surprising and so delicious bites …all while learning about the amazing history of the area. A truly 5 star must do food tour. Thank you Liz ….it was a blast! Ps: Being a pizza person…you surprised me with your pizza choice…we went back again after for seconds…and I wasn’t really hungry!! Augh!

We had a great tour with Patrick this past week on our visit to NYC. He was an amazing guide who was clearly passionate about giving everyone an excellent experience and went above and beyond to share the history of the neighbourhoods. We have done many food tours in different cities and this was one of the best we have been on.

Me and a friend did the Nolita food tour with Liz and it did not disappoint!! It ended up only being me and my friend on the tour so we felt like VIPs. Liz took us to 6 different places with a wide range of food. The pizza stop being our favorite! Liz told us all about the background of the chefs for each place and why their food was special. Most of them are women owned which we loved. If you’re looking for a tour that focuses more on the food than the history of the surrounding area then this is for you, you will not regret it!!

Great food and a great cultural history of the Nolita neighborhood. Liz was excellent and answered all our questions. Although we've been to NYC many times and are somewhat familiar with little Italy and Chinatown, she told us lots of things we never knew about this historic area!

Liz did a great job (former chef and cheesemaker) of showing us Chinatown and Little Italy. She had historical photos to share and terrific stories about the history of the area. Only one other couple, my adult daughter and I, so we all got to ask many questions. The handout guide was very helpful too. We really enjoyed our time with Liz and appreciated how flexible/engaging/informative she was!

Really, it was a great time. Our guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. Food tastings were very good and wide variety. A good way to spend an afternoon. Minimal walking. The Pier 57 space is phenomenal.

Our tour of Pier 57 was awesome. Patrick was our tour guide and I have to say I think he was the best food tour guide we have ever had. We sampled from many of the food stands and he knew the background of each company but also how the food was cooked and what made each unique. He was also well versed in NY history and history of the surrounding areas. Our dietary preferences weren’t a problem either. We had such a great time and were so FULL! We didn’t need to eat anything the rest of the day. We would definitely do another tour with Patrick and Ahoy food tours!

If you've every been on a tour of (any kind), you know that the tour guide truly "makes or breaks" the experience. This rule was followed 100% during our Private Progressive Italian Food Tour with our tour guide, Liz on Friday night. From start to finish Liz made our experience FANTASTIC by giving us history, current information, and most importantly delicious food and drink from a variety of different Italian restaurants that have stood the test of time in NYC's Little Italy. We truly enjoyed everything this tour had to offer and would most definitely recommend it as a fun and unique experience for groups that are looking for something special as a celebration or fun night out. Also, a shout out to Alana who helped me organize all the details of the tour. I really appreciated her help!
