Family of 4 with children aged 10 and 13 visited the Museum. Truly moving experience speaking to 2 guides who had both lost family members during the 9/11 attacks. Their personal stories showed how brave they were to share the memories of their loved ones who were no longer there. The museum has plenty of artifacts but if you want to just see those, I would recommend the 9/11 Memorial Museum. This is more to hear from either survivors or surviving family members. A must-see visit.

Not to be confused with the 9/11 Museum and Memorial at Ground Zero, the 9/11 Tribute Museum focuses on the stories of those affected by 9/11 and their legacies. Very deep, emotional, and touching. The amount of information is just right, not too much, not too little.

Absolutely moving. It is such an interesting museum but so moving. Ticket prices are a decent price and there are queues to get in but they move quite quickly. The museum is very informative and respectful to those affected by this awful act. I would definitely recommend doing this.

I went into this museum without any huge expectations. The museum located below ground zero, is more famous, I guess. There was a lot to read at this museum and it is difficult to fully understand the order and the trail to follow inside the museum. I think it would be good to have a guide here, because it is a little difficult to get an overview. Quite ok museum, but since I am old enough to remember 9/11, I did not learn much new.

I purchased a ticket in advance along with a ticket to the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Ticket noted the hours for the Tribute Museum on a Sunday as 10-5. I went to the other museum first but left with enough time for the Tribute Museum. Got there about 3:15. Upon arrival was told the museum closes at 4. I knew that would not be enough time for me. Requested a refund because the hours on my ticket were incorrect and I needed more time. Refund was granted after speaking with manager. Was not a fan of manager's attitude.

Not many know about this museum which is a shame.

I found a Groupon and decided to try it out and am so glad I did! In a video, the co-founder said they opened to inspire visitors to serve their own communities. They have helped organizations around the world to help people from kids getting education to widows getting resources.

I spoke with Peter, a volunteer who worked in the North Tower during both attacks. It was so touching and powerful to hear his experience and to hear the point of this museum. Highly recommend it!

A very humbling & moving Museum. This Tribute Museum had a lot more information regarding the whole history of New York, the events leading up to that dreadful day 18years ago plus the history of the building of the Twin Towers etc. It was very well laid out with very interesting. Actual plane Fuselage, personal objects, toys, uniforms etc were displayed. Very emotional. A very moving wall of remembrance with photos of all those who lost their lives brings home the enormity of that awful day. Staff are very helpful & friendly. A wonderful tribute.

I don’t want give any star but no can send without so just put one star but “zero star”,that’s my rate.

When I made sure if they are open before I go in the morning on line.It said “closed”.(maybe that time was “closed” but they didn’t say that)There was no customer line to get help prompt so tried to send message couple way…took long time to have reply and we gave up that day and expected to give me chance to change next day.
Finally give me reply to tell it’s open and they deny to give me next day.
I went to next day without reservation (hoping give us ticket from yesterday which never use)and no can exchange and they told me they open “Thursday to Sunday”.My booking was “Wednesday” the day “closed”.
How they booked for “closed”day?!

We just wasted time and money.
Never use you guys again.

Museum closed. Called to ask for a refund and call went to nowhere. Sent emails asking for a refund too but still no answer. Would not recommend as they sent automated message thanking me for visit when we couldn’t travel and venue was closed. Since they were closed I would have expected a full refund. Very poor customer service - actually no customer service.

Did the walk around outside first and then went into the museum. It was better than expected. Lots more information that I didn’t realise happened prior to the event and after the event. Definitely put my feet back on the ground. Took lots of photos. If you’re going on holiday to New York this place is a must.
