Interesting tour about the history of Williamsburg. It shows the development the quarter has gone through in the last decades. The guide who grew up in Brookly explained everything very well, altough he could have been more interactive at some points. But I can definitely recommend this tour for everyone who wants to see something different than Manhatten.

We had a nice walk in Williamsburg, the "hipster" neighborhood in Brooklyn. Our guide pointed out all the main attractions, mainly reconverted hotels and condos, and it was interesting to see how this area has evolved during the years. If you'd like to discover more unconventional paths, I recommend the tour. In our case, it was included in our NYC Pass.

Lovely weather and Williamsburg is full of shops and restaurants. The river view is fantastic. Our guide was enthusiastic and pleasant.
I thought the tour would have more actual history and a cohesive narrative; as it was it was a random jumble of facts that left me confused, and I’m American. I only wonder what the many multi cultural other visitors took away from it.
If you enjoy walking and just looking in shops and restaurants, this is for you. If you are a real history buff, you may end up disappointed.

The guide wasn't meant to be a tour guide. No interaction with the group at any point, not even in the beginning. It was like he was reading a script at every stop, and after reading it, without a word he started walking to a next stop. Brooklyn itself is definitely worth a visit, and with an enthusiastic guide it would probably have been very different experience.

Nick was an efficient, welcoming guide. He was well informed and shared his love of his neighborhood clearly, audibly and engagingly with historical information and complex sociological issues currently in play in this unique Borough of Brooklyn . We enjoyed this affordable introduction to one area of Brooklyn. BRAVO, Nick!

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the area and its history. As it was a hot and humid day it was greatly appreciated that he sought out shade to share his expertise. As well, he willingly share recommendations for delicious ice cream. Overall, a very enjoyable tour.

How many people max on this tour?
Pete West

In our group, we had 9 total (8 guest with one tour guide). Not sure what the max is, but a group of 10 or even 20 doesn’t seem like too much to me.
Maybe inquire within?
