Explore two of New York’s most charming neighborhoods, Flatiron and Union Square, on this food, history, and architecture tour. A local guide provides an insider’s perspective on the city and takes you to spots you may not have found on your own. The tasting menu constitutes a full lunch and includes treats such as artisanal grilled cheese, a classic New York sub, and fresh croissants.
You'll start at
Eataly NYC Flatiron

  • Sample a variety of gourmet foods from eateries loved by locals
  • Go with a guide: The amount of shops and cafes can be overwhelming
  • Learn little-known facts about the area’s history and architecture
  • Small group size ensures tailored, personal experience
What to Expect
Meet your guide in the Flatiron district in the morning, and head to Eataly, an Italian food market. There, enjoy a coffee at Caffe Lavazza and a warm slice of breakfast focaccia. Stroll over to Eisenberg’s, a sandwich joint loved by locals and celebrities. Pause for photos of the iconic triangular Flatiron Building directly across the street as you listen to the guide’s stories about its architecture. Your small group size encourages questions and conversation. Follow the guide down to Beecher’s, a hard-to-spot gem near Union Square. As you indulge in one of its famous grilled cheeses, watch the cheese being made in the on-site factory. Absorb the revolutionary history of Union Square, courtesy of your guide. On arrival at Breads Bakery, hidden away from the bustle of Union Square, enjoy a fresh pastry with the group. The tour ends here, steps from the park and shopping on Fifth Avenue.

Justin was very informative. Good food. Plenty of it. Definitely yummy but heavy. Went to Eisenbergs, Bleechers, Eataly (could have stayed the entire time there) and Breads Bakery.

My daugher (15) and I took this trip on a cold Friday. The meeting spot was easy to find. Our tour was small and Justin was very friendly and a good narrator about this area in NYC. (Flatiron had lots of scaffolding on it unfortunately) I learned lots about this area and
