- MrB g00Amazing day tour NYCHave a great day tour - did most of the sites in the day tour . Guide (Rachel) was very entertaining and knew New York well . Heaps of hints getting round NYC too. Definitely do this the first day so you know the lay out and have all the great advice. Thanks Rachael for a great day. 🇦🇺
- Micah J00Excellent and well organizedVery well organized… great tour guide who was knowledgeable and easy to understand. Well worth it for me. Driver was safe.
- Wee G00Great First Timer Experience...Must JoinOur tour guide Rachel was inspiring throughout the tour. She shared lots of info esp useful for firstimers like us to NY Appreciated...
- catherine41179000Great private tour for 5We had a private 6 hour tour last weekend, from start to finish the communication was great, making adjustments for timings and collection points to fit in with where we were staying, and what we wanted to see. Our tour guide reached out to us before to find out what we were interested in and what was not so important so we could get the most out of our trip. The vehicle was spacious and spotlessly clean. Our tour guide Rachel was very knowledgable, and pointed us out the best picture spots! I haven't ever done a tour before however this definitely changed my mind and I will be doing them on future trips! If you want to learn about the history of New York whilst also seeing many of the great places, I would 100% recommend.
- carlotat86200Superb!!We had a very enjoyable and very informative experience. Rachel, our tour guide was so knowledgeable of the places we went to. She was so kind and assistive of everyone in the group. Thank you very much Rachel for an unforgetable experience.
- KVKM400This tour is the place to start your visit to NYC - make sure you ask for TYLER as your guide! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This tour is the place to start in NYC. Our guide, Tyler, deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! She was the best and was incredibly knowledgeable about every area we visited. This is a great way to get an overview of NYC. You can see the love Tyler has for NYC and created such an experience that we fell in love with NYC also! If you’ve never been to NYC, this will help you plan the areas you would want to go back to during your stay. Make sure you ask for Tyler when you book!
- guye20500A first day mustThe tour was great and with Rachel it became excellent. With enthusiasm and skill, she informed us while Jimmy expertly navigated the city. Rachel provided lots of great NYC "hacks" that we brilliant to have on day one. And top it off we won on the Wicked Lottery, whoop whoop, what a great day
- Mark H00Great tour guide! This was an excellent trip, well organised and very informative. Our tour guide was called Tyler and she is the best tour guide I have ever known. Complementary water and suggestions for lunch during the trip made a very wet day in New York a great experience. Well done!
- Q8997NHdouglasn00Fantastic tour which catered to our wish list!Fantastic Tour! Our guide Debbie was so fun and knowledgeable. Catered the tour to our needs! We saw everything from Empire State Bldg, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, the High Line and Lityke Island, NBC Studios and some fun sights like Ghostbuster’s fire station, FRIENDS apartment, Sex and the City locations and so much more!
- D9741NIcarmeng00Picture PerfectOur tour guide was Rachel, we enjoyed our day tour so much we booked the night one! The tour is amazing but the real treasure are the excellent pictures you will get from your guide. We had a short NY visit & this was the best way to see the most stuff. With both the day & night tour we feel like we saw it all!
- Egena T00Great tour to learn about NYCTyler was very thorough and taught us all about NYC. She was funny and informative. She felt like we were visiting NYC with family.
- elligl00Great tourWe had a fantastic tour, Walter was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Carlos was a amazing driver and polite. Would definitely recommend this tour.
- abroome00Once we got there, it was great!Amazing trip! Try to go at dusk as you get the distance views with the lights! Good naration and explation of the views. Our only issue was a big one! The website did not give a location or address for the tour start. We literally traveled about 20 miles to Pier 64 when we needed to go to near Times Square...about 2 miles from our hotel. So add $50 to our adventure for Uber! The tour promises to give a location or address on their site soon.
- newgeezer00Saw things I had heard about but didn't know where they wereThis was a great way to see some of the sights of New York at night. There is so much to see in New York City but this was a good start. The meeting point was only a short walk from our hotel. We added the option to go to the Top of The Rock and had great views from there.
- cdb051600A fantastic overview of NYCOur guide did a brilliant job of sharing magical places in the city. He was a great resource of information. The sites we visited were varied and beautiful.

We enjoyed our bus tour, but we were VERY disappointed that there was no boat ride, as advertised. I see now on this site that it's listed as only April-Dec 31, but we do not remember that from when we booked via CheapTickets.com. The view of the Statue of Liberty from the shore (on non-boat months) is very disappointing. I feel like we did not get what we paid for.
That being said, our guide, Rachel, was nice. Very scripted, not a lot of time to ask questions but she gave LOTS of info. This would be a great starter tour for those who are staying the city for 1-2 weeks and don't have any idea where they want to visit. It's not a lot of time to explore anything, most stops were just 15 minutes. But we got pictures of some cool landmarks.

This was our first time in New York and so we wanted to book a tour that would allow us to see as much as possible, with a knowledgable tour guide to explain the sights. We were not disappointed!
We booked the open air/glass roof mini bus and would thoroughly recommend, it allows you so see so much more of the amazing skyline!
The itinerary had to change due to there being a parade on the day we booked, so lots of road closures. They handled this really well, changing up the route and giving us the opportunity to visit Highline Park and Chelsea Market instead!
A really enjoyable trip and a great way to see lots of the most famous sights all in one day!

I’ve been to NYC quite a few times, but it was my husbands first trip, and since it was just a 3 day stay we decided to do a tour to make the most of our time in the city. We had such a great experience! Our tour guide, Buster Freeze, was a delight!! Born in Londen but a true New Yorker at heart, he was an endless book of knowledge and adoration for the city and the people. The tour hit most of the major landmarks, with short stops at places like Central Park, Rockefeller Center and the World Trade Center. By taking the bus, we were able to cover so much of Manhattan in such a short time. We took the Ferry to Staten Island, which really gives you a “true New York feel” just being among the commuters, and it gives you a pretty sweet shot of the Statue of Liberty. Our driver, Izzy, was cool + calm, and if you’ve ever been in a car in NYC can you even imagine driving a bus? No, thanks. But, I felt safe the whole trip with him behind the wheel.
Long story short: I ABSOLUTELY recommend spending the $100ish bucks to to take this tour, and if you do it near the beginning of your trip it’ll give you loads of help planning what you want to do next.

We had a tour booked with USA Guided Tours and we didn’t know what to expect as you hear many stories of lack of knowledge, to many stops, not enough time and no personality of the tour guide. We were so pleased and had a fabulous time with our tour guide Gil who was without a shadow of a doubt the best tour guide we have ever had on any tour. He was knowledgeable, keen to take questions, very humorous and generous. We were guided on a fabulous journey in extreme comfort on board a private bus, Gil was engaging from the off. He took us to all the places we were eager to see and gave us all the information we could ever have needed. When we were on the way to that Statue of Liberty 🗽 Gil offered to take pictures of all the people on the tour and again this was done at the John Lennon Memorial in Central Park. We also stopped for lunch in Little Italy 🇮🇹 (followed by Dunkin Donuts 🍩) again Gil knew all the places to get a bite to eat, we didn’t feel rushed through lunch which was again brilliant. If you are interested in doing a tour of NYC in a day then I would without a shadow of doubt recommend booking through this tour operator and hopefully you will get Gil as your guide, you won’t be disappointed in any way.

Rachel our guide, was very professional and fun. The day went quickly and we saw or had pointed out to us all the main highlights of NY. Rachel was a font of knowledge imparting stories of the history of different sites and buildings.
The only disappointment seemed to be the lack of a trip to see Lady Liberty up close as it couldn’t be worked into our schedule which was unfortunate as I’ve read on here a review that another tour on the same day did have the boat tour.
Rachel thank you, you were brilliant and your sidekick, the driver Anthony, was very good getting to stop where we needed to which in NY is a little tricky!

From welcoming on Board, to departing and arriving back to the city centre the tour is something I would recommend to anyone who would like to visit what NYC had to offer in a quick tour
Our guide (Gil) was so friendly, courteous and had an incredible in-depth knowledge of the city and history.
From visiting the rockfella centre Xmas tree, to walk at the Central Park, to visiting the Liberty statue, WTC, valuable info of the city - the tour was just top notch, a def value for money and highly recommended.
Only feedback is to increase the lunch break from 30 mins to 45 mins, the restaurants are so busy that you would end up waiting and hurrying up for your breakie (tough I understand it’s a rush rush on the clock tour). Lol.

I had Jimmy (Brooklyn) and AnTONY (driver) and this was a great day. Saw all the sights and then went back later to explore on my own. Jimmy loves his city with a well earned cynicism and humour that had the guests laughing all day. He was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone on the tour was enjoying themselves.
The bus was clean and they had plenty of free water. There was a screen at the front of the bus so you could view 360 degrees as you drove in air conditioned bus. Plenty of stops to get out and walk around.
This may appear a bit more expensive than some of the other tours but I thought it was well worth it. My thoughts were solidified later in the evening when I heard another company guide telling a Dad with some tired children the next hop on was an hour wait in the heat......
Great tour.

My wife and I had never been to NYC before and we loved this tour with Arlis, our driver and Tim, our tour guide. Arlis did a fantastic job of navigating the bus through chaotic traffic congestion while pausing at important spots on the tour, so Tim could provide insightful comments about the sights we were looking at and also so we could get quick photos before the bus continued down the road.
Tim is an AWESOME tour guide. He is the perfect blend of knowledge, charisma, ENTHUSIASM and entertaining. There were approximately 20 passengers on this tour and through Tim’s leadership and engaging personality the passengers soon had a great time interacted with each other on the tour. Tim called most everyone by the name of the city or state where they lived and in its own way, was a charming for people to get to know each other. Tim’s excitement was contagious and his “fun facts” and storytelling was captivating. At the end of this fun 6 hour tour, we kept talking about all the fun we had and wishing it wasn’t over yet
This summer, My wife and I are traveling on the East Coast and we have taken three other Sightseeing tours in Philadelphia and Boston, and they were very good but NOTHING like this tour with Tim. We strongly recommend this tour.
One final comment, after taking this tour, we traveled to Boston, where we took a very good “Hop on/Hop off” bus tour to see/drive by the major sights of Boston. While we were waiting in line to climb on board the bus before the tour started , we heard a voice from the person behind us in line as she made a reference to our tour with Tim. We turned around and we happy to greet our “old friends” (Hawaii) that we met 5 days before on Tim’s tour. It was fun to see and briefly visit with 2 complete strangers who we got to know only because of Tim’s tour guide style and his friendliness.

This is the first thing you are going to say when you sit down in the plush comfort of the bus and realize that there are charging outlets in every seat. Oh well, we survived this 6 hour excursion without them and had a great time, the weather being unseasonable warm at 70°. Raymond navigated the beast of a bus through such tight spaces, I felt like we were on the Night Bus from Harry Potter. And Gil, which he spelled for us because there may be more than one way to spell pronounce Gil I guess, is like the Ellis island registry of celebs in NYC. He knows who lives where and who used to and how much they paid and who their neighbors are and what kind of dog they have and if they showered this morning. . . You get my drift. His brand of facts and sarcasm were appreciated, being that I have been accused of dabbling in the art of smartassery a time or two. My favorite was the lady who obviously booked the tour and didn’t read the itinerary, and each time she asked about if we would see something he said, “Sure, you should go see that on your own.” The tour was fast for 6 hours and if you are slow, you better step it up cause Gil’s gonna call you out for taking too long to get your Atlas picture right. We saw more than we ever imagined ( no Gil, we do not want to stand in line to touch a bull’s sack) we would and when they stop for lunch, don’t guess, hit Little Italy Pizzeria and grab a slice or three. (Just kidding, nobody on that bus wants you to down 3 pieces, stick with 1 or 2.) They totally need to offer an 8 or 10 hour version as a sequel to the original tour. Well worth every penny. TN

We only had 3 days in NYC and this was a great way to see the main sights of the city in just 6 hours. However, we did not feel rushed and you were given time to explore and take photos.
Our tour guide Gil and driver Roy, were brilliant. They told us wonderful facts that we would not have heard if we hadn't have been on the tour.
Water was provided throughout and we stopped for lunch in a location where there were a variety of restaurants.
I would definitely recommend to anyone heading to NYC.
Just bear in mind if you are travelling around this time of year, you don't go to see the statue of liberty, but you are taken other places in lieu. However, you can still go if you book it yourself from some of the tour operators in NYC so don't feel like you missing out!

First, we went to Central Park, where we got off the bus to view the Dakota apartment building, where John Lennon used to live, and his memorial, Strawberry Fields. We had time to take pictures, everywhere we went. We went to Rockefeller Center, the 911 Memorial, rode the Staten Island Ferry, where the Statue of Liberty was visible from the boat window. We rode the bus, between stops, but tour guide was giving us information, along the route, as we were riding. It was raining and cold, the day I took the tour. Don’t know whether the weather influenced the number of times we got off the bus, but we still got to see and learn, a lot.
Hello. I have a reservation for June 18th and need to know if there is a restroom on board? I have a weak bladder?

I do not believe there was a restroom on the bus. However, the bus stop at the 9/11 site and the Staten Island Ferry station had restrooms.

Definately take the upgrade to the glass top! It rained and did not ruin our trip. Plenty of stops for bathroom. We road the ferry too.
We walked around 9/11.

Is it worth upgrading to the glass top/open bus? We will be visiting in the summer. It is about a $500 difference for my family to upgrade from the closed top to the glass top. We do have young children if that makes a difference. Is it worth it to upgrade or should we spend that money elsewhere? To confirm, This is not a double decker bus correct? Rather the same bus but one has a glass top and one doesn't? Thank you!

Hello, I personally would not upgrade. you see plenty without the glass roof. and you get off the bus ever so often. Send the money on something fun to do with the kids.

How do I get to the pick up point? Any hotel pick up and drop off service?

We were staying in Manhattan, Times Square and had booked a hotel there only a couple of blocks for pick up. Viatour is very helpful.

Do you have to get off at every stop or can you remain on the bus. We mostly want a mobile tour but may take my mother off at a few stops but she can't walk for 15 minutes. She is 88 and not in a wheel chair but if they have room I could lift one on and off to push her around so she wouldn't have to walk much.

You may remain on the bus if you want to.
