Don’t do this tour it is a ripoff
This tour is not a food tour it is going to places to get free samples from businesses that would be giving free samples anyways. Guide was late uninformed and didn’t know where they were going most of the time. It was 100 percent ripoff. Be aware that this. The people that we were with knew more than our guide.

    Absolutely Terrible
My wife and I have been on quite a few food tours in various states, but without even being close, this is the WORST we have ever been on. All previous food tours we have been on included sit down tastings or food at selected restaurants, and by the time the tour is over, you are very full. On this tours website, they have scale in pictures of 1-5 with 1 being hungry and 5 stuffed. They rate this tour as a 4. Couldn't be farther from the truth. We sat only 1 time during the tour at the 1 place you could use a bathroom. My memory of the "highly and nutritious" samples along the way included a slice of cinnamon bread, one cookie, 3 small slices of assorted deli meat, taste of dip, bite of cheeses. The time we actually sat down was a small pepperoni roll. Most times the tour guide held a little plate that you took a sample off. When the tour was over, we went to find a bathroom and get something to eat. Skip this! Waste of time and money.

An Epic NYC Adventure with Seth
Seth was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable, turning our NYC tour into an unforgettable experience! He skillfully connected the city's iconic spots with fascinating superhero lore, making us feel like we were walking through the pages of a comic book. From hidden filming locations to stories behind the city's real-life heroes, Seth brought New York’s superhero side to life in such an engaging and fun way. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just looking to explore the city from a new angle, Seth’s tour is a must. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add a bit of super to their New York adventure!

    What a joke!
Having been on food tours in the past, this tour fell far below expectations. The tour guide was not knowledgeable of the local history or area. The food was lacking (free samples, other tours we've been on have served substantial portions). The businesses we visited were extremely busy, our small group seemed like a nuisance to the businesses that were already busy with customers. The guide had absolutely no rapport or connection to the shops. The tour does a disservice to the Strip District area of Pittsburgh. Which we discovered (on our own after the tour) is a very cool part of Pittsburgh. Save your money and explore the Strip District on your own.

    The Guide Makes The Tour!
Met at a beautiful church to start the tour. Roman, our tour guide took us to many ethnic restaurants and markets. He was very knowledgeable as to the history of each business. My only quibble is the amount of food we would get was not as described in the brochure. The best part of our tour was our guide. He was entertaining and a very good listener to us old folks.

    worst food tour
I was so excited to bring my son and his girlfriend on the cupcake tour which turned into a disaster. Shah our guide was unprepared and unhelpful. We should have known we were in trouble when she misidentified the Freedom Tower as the Empire State building. The other guests were from Mississippi. She explained why they were called cupcakes-a cup of each ingredient which was also wrong. She got us to the first stop Melissa's and misidentified the flavors of the cupcakes. She informed us the next stop would be 20 minute walk. She walked us for 50 minutes around the Jefferson Library after identifying it as a catholic church in victorian style. She was just making things up. at the 50 minute mark I asked her if she was lost and it was ok we could help her. She emphatically said no and whispered to a stranger for directions who started laughing. Her phone died and she had to borrow someone's and tried to tell us she took us around the not catholic church on purpose. She was almost belligerent when we all noticed we were walking down the same street. All 8 of us agreed and my child even had a picture to prove it. My husband told her you have 5 minutes she then walked us halfway down a block the wrong way again and that was it for my family. They were hungry. In addition she had us jaywalking and referred to Union Square as the hood I wish I was exaggerating but we wrote all this down when we had lunch after leaving our one cupcake tour.

    Superhero walking tour
Seth was very knowledgeable on all things New York, building architecture and a plethora of superhero artifacts. He was also great with our kids and flexible to accommodating their needs. They really got to see New York and it's iconic tourist spots the way they could consume the information and quickly relate. What a great tour!

Awesome trip for a group of four!
It was an awesome tour! My two daughters enjoyed it as well. We visited NYC for the first time and were amazed at the wonderful time we had. The beautiful places we visited were a highlight of our trip.

Fun tour if you want to learn about NYC history and eat cupcakes along the way
The best part of the tour was our guide Vince who was very knowledgeable about NYC history and told us many interesting stories. He had a great sense of humor too. We passed by many historical/pop culture landmarks. The cupcakes were just a bonus - I would consider this more of a history tour than a cupcake tour. We didn’t mind that two of the cupcakes were mini because by the end we were so sugared out. It was a fun experience but I received this as a gift otherwise I don’t think it’s worth paying the full price.

Great Walking Tour of Greenwich Village...
Vincent, our tour guide, was a wealth of information and a fantastic storyteller. We loved walking through the beautiful West Village hearing about the early days of Bob Dylan, Jimmy Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, Stonewall Riots, Death location of Alexander Hamilton, "Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" locations and on and on. If I had to critique this tour at all, it was only that the cupcake part of the tour was limited to three cupcake stops (two of which were only mini cupcakes) and the others were cookies and creme puffs. Maybe change the name of the tour instead of making it all about the cupcakes...but again, overall a great experience.

Don't miss this tour! Little Italy was everything and more of real New York.
This trip was one of the highlights of our NY trip. The guide was delightful, charming, funny and so very New York! We went places we never would have ventured on our own. The food was outstanding and the history of the food and buildings and neighborhood was priceless. My only regret is we did this on our last day instead of earlier. This felt like a real New York experience and as a huge fan of The Godfather movies, I knew just where we were as we visited places I had seen only in the movies. We had ages 15 to 67 in our group and we loved being in Little Italy. Makes me want to go back and do it again.

Horrible and no contact from tour provider.
This tour is a scan. No tour guide showed up at the meeting place. The people at the shop in the meeting area had no idea of a cupcake tour. We four paid for the tour and no one showed. I’ll dispute the charge with my credit card company. What a ripoff.

Definitely not worth the price...tour company based 8000 miles away from NYC
Save your money. You would be better off just going to cupcake shops on your own. None of the shops seemed to be expecting our group of 10. The guide basically just bought a sample pack at each store and we ate outside down the street as the stores were too crowded. No space reserved for our tour. No where to sit down ever. The build your own cupcake wasn't as special as it sounds. The tour started late. We booked for 3pm and were informed in the morning that the guide would be running late and it needed to start at 3:30. We had already booked another event at 5:30pm in Brooklyn and the late start threw off our day. And the company contacted me through WhatsApp from a Philippines number - very strange - this not a local company and has no idea what goes on in NYC. Pacing of the tour was off - we had 1 mini-cupcake in the first 45 minutes, did a lot of walking around, and then 3 in a row. It was not all cupcakes. One stop was a chocolate covered expresso bean (neither my wife or son like coffee so that was a waste). One stop was an Italian cookie. We had 1 full size cupcake in 6 stops - we skipped the last one because it was running late. The guide was fine and gave us some good history along our walk but this simply missed the mark as a cupcake tour.

Fun experience to satisfy your inner nerd!
We had a great time on the Super Hero walking tour and were lucky enough to essentially get a personal tour as there were no other guests that day. My husband is more of a super hero fan than I am and he said that he had the perfect nerdy experience! I also enjoyed the tour too as we got to see some great places (Grand Central Terminal being the highlight for me). We also visited The Daily Bugle which looks exactly like it is in the Superman films. Highly recommended your!

Tour was canceled by operator on the day off but TripAdvisor took care of the refund after we called them. It was a pain finding the phone number but the actual call was painless.
