I’ve been to NYC many, many times since I live 2hrs away, but I wanted to experience something new. I’m so glad I did because my tour guide Kevin Lawrence made this a well spent 2 hours. He gave a thorough history of each area we visited interwoven with personal interest stories that were entertaining. Since Kevin also does the street art tours, he was able to give a detailed answer to my question about a mural.
I loved that it started at 9:30am when there were fewer people out. After the tour, you were free to go back to explore in more depth and sample some of the food.
I plan to take another one of these affordable tours when I’m back again.

Christian Neely, our fantastic tour guide, provided great insights to the early origins and historical and cultural evolution of the Chelsea Market, Meatpacking district, and the High Line through out our 2 hour walking tour. He received and responded to all questions in a thorough, enthusiastic, and respectful manner. He related very well to all participants, including 2 young boys with lots of questions. Coming from another large east coast city, Philadelphia, Christian and I shared several discussions about comparisons between similar locations in both cities. He provided a few historical insights that I had not considered previously. I would highly recommend Christian to those considering a NYC tour.

Christian N. was a very fun and enthusiastic guide. He provided us tremendous historical information about the High Line and Meatpacking district that was extremely interesting. In New York you often times walk by seemingly unsuspecting buildings or landmarks that are actually very rich in history, but are only revealed to you by a person that thoroughly knows the area. Christian was beyond friendly and had a great personality, making sure we all had a wonderful time. I loved the experience and would absolutely do it again!

We did the tour "Highline, Chelsea and Meatpacking District" with Maki and it was really enjoyable. We got to know more about the history of that area, and also about fun facts and curiosities in each stop of the tour. Maki is awesome as a guide because he turns the dialogue into a show, with jokes and laughs.
I even felt the tour was short in time because it passes so fast with Maki explanations. I'd love to continue and see more and more.
Thanks for the great time and I highly recommend the tour and Maki as a guide.
Have a good one! :)

We enjoyed this tour so much! Even though it was the coldest day of the season so far Eric had so much energy and personality that made the tour so worth it. He was really informative and engaging with everyone that made the experience that much better. I recommend that everyone that visits New York take this tour to discover hidden parts of NYC’s beauty. And make sure that Eric’s your tour guide!

Make the Highline a part of your NYC experience. The tour involves an easy walk on the elevated path with wonderful views of the city. Christian does a great job sharing the history of the Chelsey market area and the development of this gem of a park. Thankfully, community members supported the development. Christian is warm and welcoming and engages all in the group with his insights and good humor.

Our acquaintances in NYC both recommended walking the Highline and we opted for the walking tour. It was as wonderful as they told us but the added knowledge of Maki, delivered with great humor, really made it special. The apprentice guide Isabella was so sweet. Take this tour and learn about the evolution of a relatively new area of the old city.

Our tour guide Jenny Piersol intorduced me to a new gem of the city. The insight view and background information she conveyed about an area which turned in the last decades from a No Go zone to a beautiful part of this ever changing City was very interesting and entertaining.Highly recommend High Line with Jenny!

Nov 2021 • Family
The tour, led by Kevin Lawrence, was a great time for our whole family. It was freezing out on November 27th, and we were regretting our decision to take the tour as we approached the start. Boy was it worth every minute. Kevin was very knowledgeable, funny, and made us forget about the cold with his constant quick wit. We will definitely look for another tour led by Kevin on our next trip into town.

It was our first time visiting New York & so we wanted to learn as much as possible about the city. Therefore, we booked onto this tour to explore the Chelsea & Meatpacking district. We were thoroughly impressed with Evan as our tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable, welcoming & approachable. He brought a good sense of humour to the tour & kept us entertained for the entire duration. We would highly recommend this tour, as we learnt so much & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Evan for making our morning in New York so enjoyable!
