2 travelers
The new culinary center of the Big Apple, where food and dining trends are dispersed to the rest of the country, is Brooklyn. And with this half-day tour, you can take a big bite out of it. From old ethnic enclaves to the latest hipster 'hoods, Brooklyn's dining scene is both diverse and cutting edge. Munch pierogies in Polish-dominated Greenpoint and hip farm-to-table fare in Williamsburg. This guided eating tour of New York's coolest and tastiest borough is ideal for foodies and the people who love them.
  • Seamless, round-trip transportation between Manhattan and Brooklyn
  • Taste Brooklyn’s iconic dishes, from pizza to pierogi, on a half-day tour
  • Travel between Brooklyn neighborhoods on a climate-controlled bus
  • Learn about Brooklyn food and culture from a licensed NYC sightseeing guide
What to Expect
Meet your guide in Manhattan West Village, and come hungry as this half-day tour begins before lunch. Board a climate-controlled bus with your small group and head across the Williamsburg Bridge.
Your first stop is Williamsburg, home to trendsetters as well as Hasidic Jewish and Italian communities. Indulge in a classic slice of Neapolitan-style pizza while your guide shares stories about the area’s history.
Then, head to nearby Greenpoint, a hub for New York’s Polish community, where you try traditional kielbasa and pierogi.
Head deeper into the borough and see more Brooklyn sights—including Prospect Park and the brownstones of Park Slope—as you go.
From there, it’s onwards to Carroll Gardens for more Italian and to DUMBO for a treat at Jacques Torres Chocolate.
Finally, admire impressive waterfront views of the Manhattan skyline. Capture the moment in photos before the bus brings you back to the West Village, where the tour ends.

Very interesting tour. Guide Alyssa and driver Jerome were superb. Would have enjoyed a bit more walking in neighborhoods and another food stop or two, but overall a definite recommendation.

Alyssa was very engaging and attentive, always making sure we are comfortable, entertained and well-fed. We enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to ‘take a break’ from the sometimes overwhelming touristy NYC spots.

There isn't a whole lot of public parking lots or garages remotely near the Village. You are better off taking public transportation into NYC, or, if you must drive in, parking in Midtown somewhere and taking a subway or bus... More
