What to Expect
Make your way to the pier on Midtown Manhattan’s west side. Arrive with plenty of time before your desired departure. Keep your camera ready as the cruise pulls into the Hudson River, and pass the landmarks that define the New York City skyline, from the Empire State Building to Lady Liberty. There’s a tour guide onboard for commentary on passing sights, as well as recorded narration in seven languages via an app. Get up-close views, within 100 feet (30 meters) of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and take advantage of snacks and drinks available for purchase on the boat. As you make your way back up the Hudson River, take in the city skyline, as well as the bustling boat traffic that links Manhattan with Jersey City. The tour concludes at the original departure point.
