No show Tour Bus.
The operator never showed up. Super disappointing. The office was closed when we arrived at 6:15PM for a 7:00PM tour. Waited 45 minutes for a bus or tour operator- nobody showed up.

Total trash and waste of money. We toke the night tour and the bus was dirtier than the subway. The covered glass part on the upper deck was so scratched up you can hardly see. The tour guide spoke with a heavy European accent and was unintelligible. We emailed the company to complain afterwords for a refund and they pretty much said sorry maybe next time it'll be better. Then they preceded to block our email from further communication! Stay away!

Buyer Beware
Bus does NOT meet at 777 8th Ave., but on 42nd st., between 8th and 9th ave (at the Port Authority bus terminal), so plan accordingly (up to a mile extra; can't be sure). I was never given a warning, so (I guess) I missed the bus. Just a note: still not clear whether the information the Port Authority (not connected directly to tour) gave me was correct, as, just as they and tour app indicated, a time to meet was never given (and tour is supposed to be an open-ended ticket that starts when you first board the bus, the P.A. indicated), yet I never did that and was charged. I'm fairly confident this will be straightened out, and it looks to be a fairly interesting tour, yet make sure you know what you are getting (my advice).

Confusing
Dec 2019 • Friends
So the tour told us to go to 777 8th street. We get there and nobody’s there. There’s signs that tell us to go to 42nd street between 8th and 9th and nobody’s there either. We asked some gray Line employees along the way and they said we had to buy another ticket? We basically ran around for an hour until an employee actually brought us to the right place. The tour itself was a normal tour. Tour guide was alright. Drove around for an hour. Could’ve gotten the same tour just driving around in an uber.

Ok
Dec 2019 • Couples
We were 30 minutes late leaving and left waiting in the cold. The tour was ok we roughly went straight down 5th from Times Square, across the Manhattan bridge and back. then back up second (I think). Then dropped off a few blocks from where we picked up. The tour guide was obviously very knowledgeable and spoke mostly about the buildings and there time periods. Personally I prefer a few little stories thrown in on the history of individuals who lived, worked and died there etc. But that’s a personal preference. Overall it was all ok nothing to get over excited about

Best value for money night tour
Dec 2019
There are several companies offering open-top tours of various kinds and online booking can be confusing. We went to Times Square, where agents for each company are out to get your custom, and we opted for the Gray Line night tour. We ended up paying a lot less witht he agent than it would have cost had we booked online and other companies were even more expensive. The tour departed on time and took us along the advertised route, somehow avoiding the pre-Christmas gridlock. Our guide was informative, if a little eccentric! And it was cold - but that's only to be expected in December so we came suitably dressed and enjoyed the tour.

Boring
How can you make the most exciting City in the world sound like the most boring one? I didn't think it was possible but they found a way. Rattling off the names of buildings that we could read ourselves, ignoring interesting architecture and other unique features in favor of construction details, and all in a monotone that would make Ben Stein envious.

Awesome Time
Great tour bus to take. Every one we got on was great staff! We had Nala As our tour guide and omg did he make us laugh and enjoy our ride he is a true asset to your company. This is such an inexpensive way to get around the city and tour different areas quickly instead of the subway or cab. I recommend this to anyone we took it on a Sunday and it wasn’t sunny but the weather was decent and not super busy we sat on top most of the time. If you haven’t tried it yet i think you should! Look on Groupon for some good deals too ! Great bus to ride thanks again everyone at City sight seeing bus ! We will be back again in the future.
