- crystalle917800 contributionsDO IT!! Once in a lifetime experience!DO IT!!! While visiting Orlando, my daughter found this and we knew we HAD check this out! Even after a full day at Universal, we drove an hour and a half to get there for our 10pm tour. Our tour was exceptional! Truly a once in a lifetime experience. It was almost like seeing magic right before our eyes. We saw 2 dolphins too! The manitees were asleep, but we were having too much fun to care. Our tour guides were awesome and made our trip even better. They informed us of so many cool pieces of knowledge during the trip. One of which is that a portion of what we pay for our tickets goes toward restoring the eroding coastline of Florida! We're from Louisiana, so we know all about the eroding coastline and how important it is to save it. Major props to this company for doing their part to help. I encourage anyone to book one of these tours!Written September 8, 2024

- Voyage618188786980 contributionsAll That Glitters is BioluminescenceWe were in awe of all the sounds of nature and the glow of the bioluminescence. We got to hold jellyfish that lights up. Such a cool experience. Clint, our tour guide was knowledgeable and lots of fun. Would definitely go again.Written September 1, 2024
- 86nikiew0 contributionsFinally, marked this off my bucket list!! What a great time!!First off, this has been a bucket list item of mine for a very long time. My favorite animal is the jellyfish, especially the bioluminescent ones. When I heard my family vacation was going to be in Kissimmee, Florida, I knew I was going to have to make this happen. I talked to Josh who was very informative and he also said that since the time slot I wanted already had people signed up, I would be able to go solo. I signed up for the Clear Bioluminescent Kayak Tour and was greeted by Clint and Ashley. They were great guides and although the dinoflagellates weren't particularly glowing (bright moon, lots of rain), I was most excited when Ashley showed me a Comb Jellyfish. That is what I truly wanted to see and Clint shouted out that there were a bunch near him. Off I went with my happy, little heart and scooped several up to see. It was amazing. At the end of it all I was completely soaking wet and was very glad for my waterproof pouch for my phone and my towel that I left in my car. It was a stupendously, awesome experience and I recommend it highly. Do your research, find out the seasons and check the weather around the times you wish to go. So....Much....Fun!!! - Kristine S0 contributionsConditions Were Not Right to See Bioluminescent Sights Shown in Ads on the Night We WentOur guide, Emmitt, was great! Despite not being able to see bioluminescent sights, he made the best of the situation and showed us wildlife (horseshoe crabs, fish, and tiny cone jellyfish).Written July 31, 2024
- Culture023230024100 contributionsManage your expectationsThis might be the group tour for you if you want just a peaceful night of kayaking. Unfortunately, we were hoping for a little more interaction and information from our guides. The main guide was fine, but if you weren’t right next to him, you couldn’t hear anything. The other two guides were completely silent and none of them made the tour what I would describe as “fun”. Even when we showed up to check in, the younger guide was on his phone the whole time and never even once said hi or welcome or anything. It also didn’t help that we had a kid crying almost the whole time and the guides didn’t really try to do much to calm her. We had to ride double kayaks (I didn’t see that in the reviews) and one of our party had to ride with a complete stranger. Once kayaking, we did eventually see a little bioluminescence, but it was nothing like shown in the pictures. Overall, I was hoping for a more fun experience.Written July 28, 2024
- Rachael P0 contributionsAmazing family experience amongst so many manatees! We had a great time on a mid-morning kayak with our 2 teenage boys. Clint was an excellent guide, with deep knowledge of the different animals and vegetation in the area. Much to our surprise, we were able to get up close to A LOT of manatees! 👌 We also saw dolphins and lots of different birds. Would highly recommend as a remedy to days out at the theme parks.Written July 26, 2024
- wendelfisher6200 contributionsFantastic Experience - bring good bug spray! This was a fantastic experience! Our guides were great, very knowledgable and friendly! The kayaking was not too difficult so most people shouldn't have any trouble with it. There are port-a-potties available in the parking area. TIP - the mosquitos are rough, bring a strong repellent!Written July 17, 2024
- 345chantellec0 contributions10/10Shout out to our tour guide Ky he was awesome and very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was funny and made our time fun. The bioluminescence water was amazing and seeing the fish was pretty cool. We would definitely recommend, we came from ohio and would go back if we had the chance....Thanks again KyWritten July 12, 2024
- mjuda410 contributionsExcellent Adventure in FloridaThis is an excellent adventure for anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to experience something different in Florida. The bioluminescent algae was bright and plentiful especially under the clear kayaks. The fish lit up the water as they swam from our paddle strokes. It was a clear dark night so the stars were incredible, our group saw 3 shooting stars. Our guides Nick and Clint were great, both were knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. This is a great tour group.Written July 6, 2024
- D1536ZZmichaelm0 contributionsAmazing Bioluminescence Kayak TourThe Florida Adventurer 9pm tour was amazing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient. He took time to educate about the lagoon and pointed out several points of interest and fun facts. It was an amazing experience and highly recommend.Written July 6, 2024
- 608nicolen0 contributionsNope. Don’t do it.First, let me begin by saying my friend and I were SUPER excited about experiencing this. It is about an hour from Merritt Island on a wildlife preserve. It was easy to find and the hosts were fantastic. And the water did, in fact glow with the fungi that make this possible. However, I would never, ever EVER do this again unless I had on a full body hazmat, air conditioned suit. I wore leggings, a T-shirt and water shoes. As soon as I got out of the vehicle, I was swarmed with thousands of tiny, black, angry, mosquitoes. You literally FELT each bite that these demonic blood suckers did. They bit me THROUGH MY CLOTHES. you felt them land on you, bite you, and buzz in your ears. They bit every single part of my body. Hence, three days later I am still suffering with tremendous itch. Pain and an overall foul attitude because of this experience. And yes, for those wondering I did have plenty of mosquito repellent to no avail (others around us used DEET and were still getting bit) And no, I would not recommend this outing to any adult and ESPECIALLY children unless you want to put up with their incessant complaining about the ITCH. To end this horrifying ordeal, this brief description provided was all BEFORE we got in the kyack for 90 minutes where we continued to be tortured. I should have listened to my friend and immediately left the premises and drove the hour back home. Do. Not. Do. It.Written July 2, 2024
- I825LGangelaw0 contributionsGood Experience Overall But Not a Great Tour for Those That KayakI just finished this tour last evening with my family (we were a party of 5 adults). The pros: Brian (our guide) was a very entertaining fellow, and he brought us to a spot where we could see luminescent waters and FISH literally jumping into some of the kayaks. They provided my whole party with sturdy two-seater kayaks, paddles, glow sticks, and life jackets with the necessary safety features. FYI: skip the clear kayaks; they are not worth the money or the work to paddle them. The other guides on the tour were also amiable and took safety seriously. I would have liked to have given it four stars, but here are a few cons: We got in the water 30 minutes late. We watched several other tours bring in larger groups than ours ahead of us, who all started on time. When we were finally allowed to enter the water, we were instructed to stay close together—very close. My husband and I are experienced kayakers, and not everyone else is. Fair enough. HOWEVER.... During most of the tour, our kayak was constantly getting rammed into, and I took a hit to the head with a paddle twice. We tried breaking away within a safe distance of the group but were told we had to stay very close, which meant more bumper car action.I almost felt like we were being treated like toddlers. Heading back, the water was a bit choppy and a few in our group were struggling to get back to the point that we offered to tow one of them in. The cons aside, my family really did enjoy this extraordinary experience. The view of the stars was spectacular. I'm a Space Coast local and would return to this area to kayak again, but I probably would go with a different company.Written June 30, 2024
- michellebW3136WI0 contributionsThousands of mosquitosSo many mosquitos. The group was too large. Seats on the clear bottom boats are very uncomfortable. The range in the level of experience among the group made for a long kayak. A lot of people didn’t know how to kayak which makes it pretty boring for more experienced kayakers because we had to keep stopping for other people in our group. Seeing the bioluminescence and animals was cool but not worth it because of all of the above.Written June 24, 2024

This place is a total scam. Me and my family were going to go on a fun little trip with our 3 little kids for the last day of our vacation. 15 minutes before we had to be there and 45 minutes into the DRIVE to get there they cancelled on us. I do understand that the cancellation policy is on the website but we were not planning to cancel. As they canceled on us. We called the place back asking for some sort of refund as they canceled on US. Not to mention the guy who answered the phone had ABSOLUTELY NO sympathy whatsoever. So not only we got $300 taken from us, we were also treated with a major attitude. He said we could we could reschedule but as I said this was our last day and we live 2000 miles away. I do not understand how this business is still running with thier disgraceful customer service and thier policy on cancellations even though WE did not cancel THE BUSINESS cancelled. I do not advise choosing this place as it is a total scam and there are rude staff that run this place. The man made a reference on disney and how they don’t do refunds. Well disney does not just cancel on you as this place did. This is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous how they canceled on us and we did not get our money back. Absolutely ridiculous.

Hello again ma'am,
As we state on the websites cancelation policy, we do not refund for weather cancelations. We agree you did not cancel the tour, the small craft advisory issues my The National Weather Service mandates that we can not launch kayak tours during this advisory. We sent you a copy of the SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY that was issued 10 minutes prior to us having to cancel your tour. We issued you a raincheck that is good until you use it. Again, we issued you a raincheck that is good until you return. It is an industry standard cancelation policy, that can be seen on our website under "Cancelation Policy". We do not just frivolously cancel our patrons tours as our guest travel from all over the world to experience this activity. It is unfortunate that you think this was done to bamboozle you, however, we have been in business almost 10yrs. You can rest assured when you return, you WILL be able to enjoy your raincheck. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
