About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 590gregoryf0 contributionsAwesome time.Everything was great. It was a really cool experience to see some of the sites. We were late but even so I don't know if we would have been able to get off much which would have been cool. Regardless we had an amazing time can't wait to find you elsewhere.Written September 6, 2024
- 28alisonl0 contributionsScooter Excitement!!!Awesome tour! Lots of fun and excitement on the scooters with our 19 and 20 year olds….a great family memory and lots of laughs (once we figured out how to ride!)Written September 5, 2024

- dsrumsey720 contributionsFUN way to see San DiegoThis was a great experience! The employees were thorough in explaining the experience. They were helpful & pleasant, treating us so well. This was our first time using GoCar and I highly recommend it. We would not have had this experience in learning about San Diego without it. I only have 1 suggestion. At the corner of Washington St where it is a bit difficult to know which way to go, have a metal sign made in yellow, saying “GoCar with an arrow” pointing to India St. (I believe that is the name), for the return on the 2 hour trip. All the other roads are easy to follow with the GPS. Thanks for an excellent experience on our trip to San Diego, celebrating 25 years of marriage!!Written August 30, 2024
- laylep20240 contributionsGreat way to see Balboa ParkWe started out on the scooters but quickly changed our minds. We had trouble feeling comfortable and confident ( we being 60+ year old women. We kept thinking we could/should be able to ride with confidence). We went back and they quickly switched us to the car with no fuss or complaints. Then we were off and running and had a wonderful ride and experience!Written August 28, 2024
- proutilityp0 contributionsUse a gocity pass to rent gocarThe gocity pass link is confusing. The staff on site was patient to explain it. Staff on day 1 didn't care about child height but we also couldn't ride due to no appointment, go city fault NOT gocar (iRide) fault. Staff on day 2, said child was too short but worked with us to swap from escooter to the car. I don't like that if there's only 3 we have to pay for 4. (Only a $10 fee and it is listed clearly. But still annoying.)Written August 27, 2024
- samanthahS8717XU0 contributionsSo fun! Don't miss out on the park!We were under the impression that the car would drive itself but it does not. I can see how being in San Diego traffic would be intimidating for some people but Billy made sure we were well-informed and he set us completely at ease. He wanted us to have the best time ever so we really relaxed when he encouraged us to and it was SO FUN! We upgraded to the electric car which I highly recommend because it is much quieter and doesn't require a helmet - we are both a little hard of hearing but we had no trouble hearing the GPS instructions or the interesting facts about San Diego. What a gorgeous city! We took the 2 hour tour and it was just right for us. Don't miss out on the park.Written August 26, 2024
- 602tlcc0 contributionsGo Car Fun!Everything went great until me and the passenger got turned around. The GPS started to take us on another trip, but we called in and the employee came and helped to guide us back to the building to drop off the Go Cart. I appreciate there quick response and concern. Thank you!Written August 17, 2024
