This was the best surf lesson! My 14year old son had such a great time, he went back every morning for 4 days straight!! And he can surf now. We definitely will be back for more practice and expertise!! Every teacher and staff super friendly!! 💙

Amazing experience! Individualized learning. Dylan taught me so much! I watched him with a 7 year old prior to my lesson and he had both of us rocking waves! He shared knowledge and expertise- I can’t wait to surf again soon!

I had the BEST time surfing with the San Diego Surf School! The Aussie Alex was an awesome instructor, breaking down the steps and helping me to be safe, learn the basics of surfing, and have a blast catching the waves. This was my 6th time surfing (surfed in New Hampshire, Maui, and Sayulita, Mexico and this was by far the most productive lesson and the most fun as I caught a lot of waves. For anyone looking to learn how to surf in the San Diego area this is a great place. The customer service getting set up was friendly and easy too.

Highlight of our kids' holiday! They raved about their instructor, Ryan T. And as parents, it was so fun to watch!

Highly recommended! My husband and 2 teenagers took a semi-private lesson here while we were in town for vacation. The instructor was very helpful and friendly. All 3 of them were able to successfully get up on their boards and surf in shallow water by the end of the lesson. Later in the week, we rented a board on a different beach, and the things they learned in this lesson helped them enjoy surfing that day as well.

This was the first time that I surf. I am taught some know-how of riding on wave. After a little rolling, I could make it. I made a precious weekend memory, and yes surfing is my favorite now:D

Tanner was an incredible teacher and human. The staff at the office made sure we had everything ready. Full on beginners and we ended up standing in the board. We are so happy!

We booked the semi-private package for my 15 year old son and his friend. They had Alex Joseph, the instructor, and had a blast! He was so nice and encouraging, and both boys got up and surfed! Since the experience they wanted to keep surfing each day! Well worth the time and experience. We do wish we booked the photo session with it, I’m sure the photographer would would have captured better pictures then me!

i loved surfing! the instructor was fun and cheered me on. the lesson kind of stopped though, at some point i stopped getting feedback, or at least helpful feedback..your falling to the left because your leaning left? i dont need an instructor for that. but overall it was a good experience.

This adventure was a great time! We were on vacation with two of our grandchildren, ages 11 and 9, and we had a ball learning to surf!! The instructors (Brooks and Kiana (?)) were awesome!! They were knowledgeable, patient, very helpful, and friendly. We will definitely try this again with this company when visiting San Diego!

Myself and my 11 year old son had private lessons. Jake and Luke were our instructors. They were so great and patient and encouraging. We loved them. My son said it was the biggest adrenaline rush and funnest thing in his life! Haha and we do a lot of things :) The location is close to the beach like you'd hope and expect but that does come with the challenges of beach parking so either Uber over or give yourself plenty of extra time to find a spot. Highly recommend, we had the best time!

I like the young coaches and the beaches where I surf。It would be nice to have a place to shower. In addition, please inform the trainees that they need to arrive early first.
