Overview
Taste your way through Old Town San Diego during this 2.5-hour historical tour with culinary samplings. Visit a side of San Diego many travelers don't see and take a hike to California's birthplace. Tequila and tortilla samplings included.
What to Expect
Meet your guide and group at 2660 Calhoun Street, at the flagpole in front of the Cosmopolitan Hotel in the town square. Meeting time is 1pm.

We will explore an open-air market loaded with crafts, art work and souvenirs.  Your guild will help you navigate between the authentic and the imitation goods.  Enjoy a treat of handmade tortillas while you browse!

Move on to see one of the state's oldest haciendas and to a stable that houses some historic stage coaches. We'll continue outside of the state park and onto a historic brick building and a landmark cemetery.

Our final stop is a local tequileria to learn about the many different kinds of tequila.  Enjoy a taste or select another beverage of your choice.

History and Tastings in Old Town SD

My family had a great time in Old Town with Jennifer. We are all native Californians, but unfamiliar with this particular district. We've even made several trips back afterwards on the recommendations of our guide!
