Carlos gave us a great tour of Tijuana. Had Tacos for lunch, did several tequila tastings. Walked all over and learned about their history. Had a great time. Was so worth it.

The trip was a successful introduction to (northern) Mexico Tijuana. Tadeo Calles provided excellent guidance and showed us safely and beautifully around the streets of Tijuana. I would definitely recommend this tour to others who wish to take a day trip to Tijuana, Mexico, with Tadeo Calles.

Communication was great. I felt very secure traveling through Tijuana with my tour group and leader Tadeo. We walked all over downtown. We stopped to eat and shop. It was a great intro to the city. We whizzed through the border on our way back because we had our global entry cards. Those that didn’t waited in line for a couple of hours to get back into the US.

We had an amazing time with Marisol!!!! She was knowledgeable, fun and went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. The border crossing was easy/smooth and they handled all of the transportation from the border to downtown Tijuana. Marisol took us to some fantastic sites, shopping, food and Tequilla tastings. Couldn't recommend this trip higher. For the price, it is a great way to ease yourself into visiting Mexico.

My wife and I took the Blue line trolley from San Diego to San Ysidro. It was very inexpensive, and very easy! The trolley dropped us off right in front of the border crossing. We changed some money right before we crossed (right next door to McDonalds. We didn’t need to though, everywhere we went was prepared to accept dollars, and could give change in dollars or pesos (they also take cards!) We went through the border, which was much easier, and friendlier than I expected. Once through, we were immediately greeted warmly by Carlos, (who had sent me a photo of himself and a very handy video he made showing how to cross over to Mexico), and the rest of our small tour group (8 in total for our walking tour). Carlos skillfully ushered us around Tijuana, pointing out items of interest and explaining the history of his city. Everywhere we went I noted that the shop owners, and other people held Carlos in high regard. Several times shopkeepers we met along the way told us that we were lucky to be in Carlos’s group. I couldn’t have agreed more! Lunch was both fun and so good. The tequilas and beers we sampled were delicious, and Carlos’s connections in the city really made me feel welcome and safe. I would give Carlos, and this tour 100 stars if I could! I will be back again some day!

This is my first time in Mexico and it was pretty fun. We visited an old church, a Mexican candy shop, a restaurant, and a few other places. Our lunch was delicious. Even saw a giant Mexican flag which is just ridiculously big. Has a lot of fun

This was such an immersive experience! It was my first time in Mexico and I loved every minute. Marisol was so kind, informative, and fun to hangout with for the day :)

Never got to go. We made it to the meet up spot and never saw anyone. Walked around for 30 minutes looking. Tried calling the number/texting it and emailing with no answer. The WhatsApp they want to use to communicate would not work. I responded once then it banned my login. Poor customer service on their end. They could have called my cell or given a working number. And I don’t know if they will refund my money so I may be out $100. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Victor was a great host. Super knowledgeable and passionate about TJ, he led a fun tour and looked after us from start to finish.

Our walking tour of Tijuana was a really fun experience. Our guide, Humberto, was very knowledgeable and friendly. From the tequila tasting, authentic lunch, and the sights, it was a great taste of TJ.
