Roxanne was a very knowledgeable and personable guide and the tour hit the highlights that we had wanted to see in and around the city.

What a fantastic tour. We saw several different areas of San Diego. It was exactly what we wanted. Breathtaking views, history, and some free time to explore. I highly recommend this tour. Ron was our guide and he did a terrific job.

The day before we arrived I was notified they did not have enough people to do the tour. I requested they reimburse me since I could not go on Saturday due to a scheduled event. So no tour and I am hoping for my reimbursement.

We booked this tour and rode Lyft to the meet up spot at the Guild Hotel. Nobody showed up. We called the number on the reservation. Nobody answered. On the next call we were able to leave a voice message. Nobody returned our call. We’ve been waiting outside this hotel 40 minutes now. I went to ask for a refund and the auto response is I’ll forfeit 100% of my $158.00. This is a terrible way to start my vacation. Do not book this tour company-I’m now feeling like it must be a scam.

Don’t book this tour if you are trying to plan out your vacation. They cancelled on us the day before. Too short of notice to book something else… wasted a day.

1/5 overall dissatisfied with the tour. The tour lady was nice and her accent is beautiful great to listen to, but during the four hour tour she was talking non stop and some of it was her personal life, which is fine but there were five occasions where she talked about babies dying or killings in the area or suicides. I don't want to hear all that negative stuff and I'm sure that most people that are on vacation don't want to hear it either, we just want a tour thats it. There are a lot of other historical things in san diego to talk about besides those things. I hope she does better as a tour guide and leaves people happy and satisfied with paying her to drive around because that's all it is, a person giving a basic tour. Also, she gives out bags of water, but just offer water and snacks instead, I feel like that would be better than making it look like a surprise when it's really not, and I'm allergic to trail mix with nuts so I suggest to keep it simple with chips or something next time, thanks for reading

Roxane did an excellent job of showing our group some of the most fascinating areas around San Diego. She was informative, knowledgeable and gracious! Our tour included a stop at Old Town, Coronado Hotel, Balboa Park, Mount Soledad and Children’s Beach in La Jolla to see the sea lions. I was most in awe of Mount Soledad….beautiful views but the veteran walls were breathtaking. My only disappoint was seeing the sea lions at Children’s Beach. The sea lions were like rocks and never moved. Where, the beach just prior, you could see them in the water and moving around on the beach. I wish we could have stopped there instead. I would recommend!

The San Diego Scenic Tour hit major highlights with just enough time to enjoy each stop. The tour driver was experienced friendly, and knowledgeable. We gained a real appreciation for the historical significance of San Diego all while soaking in the beauty of the areas and ocean. Would definitely recommend this tour!

This is a great way to see some of the many options to experience in the San Diego area . We had 5 stops in 4 hours and had plenty of time at each location to get a taste of what it has to offer. We took lots of photos! Our guide, Roxanne, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend!

We had an excellent tour with Roxane. She took us to all of the major neighborhoods in the city. Plenty of free time. She was extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this tour.

This was about a half day tour and that was enough to cover the most important sites. The bus was new'ish and very comfortable. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. She seemed obsessed with ghosts and actually seems to believe in them - sad. Aside from that, she was a pleasure and helpful. I would recommend it.

Very good opportunity to see the hot spots and plan which to revisit with more time. I left the tour in Coronado as it was the last stop and wondered around for the afternoon. Beautiful place and easy to get back to the city by Uber or ferry.

They canceled on us! the only full day we had in San Diego, which we booked online. There is nothing to add as they didn’t provide promised service! We travel by plane to San Francisco, rented a car a drove on Highway 1 to finally to San Diego!! This company CANCELED ON US 24 hr before! by text, on our way to San Diego! We were forced into searching for ALTERNATE time to spend there, in unknown to us city!

This was our second tour with Scenic Tours and Ron made my family’s San Diego trip an awesome experience! From his knowledge, attention to detail and allowing us time to enjoy the sights, we had a BLAST! He even offered and took great photos of our family for additional memories!!!
