Booked Dinner inside the vessel. The staff were over the top, they made us feel so welcomed. We really enjoyed the experience and would definately do it again. Worth every penny, as an added bonus there was a professional fireworks display lit off a floating barge within a few hundred feet of us. Truly amazing. 2 things to keep in mind. If you dine inside the lights are too bright in the cabin to see out of the windows so you really dont see any of the shoreline unless you press your face up against the windows or step outside. Also it was very cold inside as well and most of us ate dinner with a jacket on and it was the 5th of August. Aside from that, it was amazing and the DJ made it so fun and gave shout outs to Birthdays and Anniversaries and other special occasions.

The cruise itself was nice. Food was decent but not outstanding. We upgraded the kids meal to the prime rib. However, the piece she received was about half the size of the adult size. It wouldn’t have bothered me except the cost was only slightly lower than the full adult fare. That seemed like a rip off. I would have also appreciated if there was information on what landmarks we were passing.

At over $580 for 4 people the price is ridiculous. High fees on top of high price. That said, the food was VERY good. I was shocked! 3 filet mignons and 1 regular steak were tender and tasty, and still had some red/pink. I was expecting dried out pieces of leather. Wish the salad and vegetable were bigger but all tasted great. The waiter was a bit goofy - had to ask him several times for a fork so I could eat after my salad fork was cleared away but he did bring us extra rolls. We were on the second floor, weren't given a choice, but we were glad because the tables were smaller than below. We had a table just for 4, and the tables below seemed to be for 8 or 10 (don't know if they were all for big groups or if they crammed couples together to fill them). You have to go up on the open deck to get a good view of the harbor as tables are far away from the windows. Don't think I would ever go again due to the price but we had a nice time out with our son and new daughter in law.

Not worth the money. Terribly disorganized. "Celebration Package" was a scam. Dinner cruise was at 7:30 but we were told to be there at 7:00. We all stood lined up in the heat for 30 minutes and at 7:30 they started letting us board. Greeted with a glass of champagne which was nice and then we were seated. We had purchased the Celebration Package for $50 which got us a private table and bottle of wine. Turns out EVERYONE had a private table and the wine was a $9 bottle of chardonnay. Salad was served right away but it took another 20-30 minutes before we got our cheap wine. Entree was served almost 1-1/2 hours after boarding (~9pm) so we just sat at our table - couldn't go down to the dance floor or outside for more than a few minutes in case our entrees were served. Fish was way overcooked and beef was tough and unseasoned. Frozen cheesecake was served at around 9:20pm and we had only a short time for DJ/dancing. DJ was good.

All in, not a great experience, especially for my wife. Booked with Flagship, which was a mistake. Easy to book, check in, and get to your table, even welcomed with champagne upon getting onboard. Our server offered us a drink from the bar, which we accepted. Finally got it after 20 mins and simply went to the bar myself from that point forward. The main problem for us was when dinner was being served. In a place with over 70 tables on our deck, our table was one of the last to be served, and we were in the middle of the dining room. Our server came over and told us they were out of the fish that my wife had ordered and gave her the chicken or steak option, but not the filet. If she chose steak, it would be a NY strip. By the way, we had actually placed our food order two weeks before when we purchased the tickets. It’s not like you get on the boat and decide what you want, you pre-order it, and they still fouled it up….I think it’s basic counting, but maybe I’m missing it. In any event, we won’t be back and we don’t recommend Flagship. We come to San Diego at least twice a year and do a dinner cruise on one of those trips. We normally use Hornblower, but they were sold out this time around. Now I know why Flagship had availability.

I will never be riding with this company again! My husband and I reserved for the Valentine’s Day Dinner cruise. Everything was fine when we got there, the boat was little not very nice inside, a little older looking but you can’t expect more for what you pay. They seat us at a table for four and we figured that was because they didn’t have anything smaller. As more people start to board, they bring another couple to sit in the two remaining seats next to us. I was shocked that they would seat strangers in the same table where my husband and I are trying to have a private date. I immediately got up and spoke to a man who seemed to be somewhat in charge. I asked his why they sat strangers in our table and he stated that if we wanted a private table we could have requested it when we made our reservation. No where in the event details did it say we would be seated with strangers. I assume that if they advertise a private table it’s because that’s gonna be something EXTRA private and special somewhere else in the boat. I was upset because we paid $250 dls to have a table shared with strangers and when I looked around I could see that other couples were awkwardly sharing with strangers as well. The man was rude and upset with me for being upset. I told him that’s not what I paid for and he said he’s been working here for 11 years and that’s the way it’s always been and for future reference to request a a private table in advance because right now they had no more tables. However, one of the waitresses advised him that there actually WAS one empty table next to the window in the back and asked me if I wanted to move. Of course I said yes but was not happy with the attitude and lack of customer service the man provided. The waiter was very polite and always kept the drinks coming for my husband and checked on us often. However, we chose the surf and turf dinner and were a little confused that the never asked us how we wanted our steak cooked. Normally I will go for a medium rare but since I am pregnant I was looking for a well cooked term this night. When dinner came out the food wasn’t the greatest, the steak was def, pretty much rare and I didn’t eat it all because I didn’t want to risk eating raw meat in my first trimester of pregnancy. Overall it wasn’t worth what we paid and we wouldn’t come back again. I’ve been to hot blower dinner cruises which are more expensive and I think it’s safer to just go with them and pay a little extra for a great experience than go here and not be satisfied.

The Yacht And its staff were at their best the Prime Rib Dinner cooked to perfection Our server Cesar was very attentive Professional respectful and alert to attend our needs ... The Atmosphere was set for a romantic Evening the lighting and music was just right.... My wife and I spent time On the deck gazing at the sky and stars. The evening was cool enough for us to cuddle and enjoy the serenity of the Ocean....

My family with young children loved the dinner cruise experience. Be sure to capture some great pics of the bridge in the background. Originally I booked outdoor seating, but thankfully received a phone call ahead of time to warn us that it gets cold. Being from the desert we didn't bring the really warm clothes that were needed so they were able to change our table to indoors. The food was really good. The salmon was lightly crispy on the outside just like I like it.

I was really disappointed with the dinner cruise. I’m from Maryland and I’ve done the spirit of Baltimore before and it was a lot of fun, so I thought the spirit of San Diego cruise would be the same. A few days before the cruise I received a message asking me to contact them to choose our meal for the evening.. it was then I was told that I requested outdoor seating. I honestly don’t recall requesting this but I figured it wasn’t really a big deal. Thought it would be romantic and fun to have dinner outside. I was told to dress appropriately since the bay gets colder at night time which was fine. I was not excepting upon arrival that only 4 tables would be seated outside while everyone else was inside. After speaking with a staff member they stated that they just recently started doing outdoor seating 2 weeks ago. It’s unfortunate to say but it really shows. I have a hard time understand why only 4 tables were outside in the cold while everyone else was inside. To me it would make more sense if there was more tables outside equal or if a little less than the tables inside. Where the four tables were place it was right on the second level of the boat. Other guests were allowed to come over to the tables and take group pictures and selfies while we were trying to have a conversation and eat dinner. It may not sound like a big deal but if we were to go inside and stand next to another person trying to eat and started taking selfies and hovering over their table it would be an issue. I think they need to do a better job at organizing the outdoor seating if that is something they want to continue. I really do t understand how they had room for tablets on the first and second floor but couldn’t fit 4 more tables inside.. Lastly I was not a fan of the food. The salad I was given was a giant bundle of lettuce with dressing, crab meat, and feta cheese. Sound good when hearing it but the look of it was less than pleasing. It was very cold outside.. too cold to even have the option of outdoor dining.. my suggestion if you have lunch cruises to give that option since there will most likely be sun outside still to keep people somewhat warm

the service was slow. We had pre paid for unlimited drinks and we are the boat for over 30 mins before even being asked if we need a drink. The food was ok. There was a large group there who were loud through the entire dinner.
