Overview

Explore some of San Diego's top attractions without breaking a sweat on a Segway tour. After a lesson to get comfortable on the electric scooter, roll through the historic Gaslamp Quarter, Navy Pier, Balboa Park and other character-filled areas while a guide shares local insight and history. It's a fun way to cover a lot of ground while enjoying fresh air and the famous San Diego sunshine.

What to Expect

Meet your guide in San Diego’s centrally located Gaslamp Quarter and practice scooting around on a self-balancing Segway before hitting the streets.

Soak up the ambience of trendy restaurants and clubs housed in Victorian-era buildings as you travel, and then continue on to Chinatown and past Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres.

You guide helps to keep your energy up with provided snacks and makes sure you capture the memories with stops for photos along the way.

Take in scenic harbor views as you roll along Navy Pier, Seaport Village, and past anchored ships like the Star of India and USS Midway.

Head inland to Balboa Park, a beautifully landscaped cultural hub where you’ll see a handful of museums, plus working artists’ studios at Spanish Village.

Smell the fragrant blooms at a botanic garden before scooting back to the starting point downtown.

Best way to see San Diego -- Hands Down!

My wife and I did the Gaslamp tour with our guide, John, and had a fantastic experience. I'll start by saying that the last time we were in San Diego, we rented a car and I did not get a great impression of the area....More
