      Just ask for Martin!
Martin picked us up from our hotel exactly on time and was just delightful. It was a trip to remember! The conversation was lively and his knowledge was amazing. We enjoyed seeing Quincy and the historical relevance it brings to this country’s independence. Plymouth is a must see for anyone looking to understand how challenging the conditions were for these people seeking a safe haven back in 1620. We are the proud benefactors of such tenacious forefathers!

      Fantastic Tour!!
Joan was extremely knowledgeable, prepared, and just a joy to be with! She taught us facts about Boston that we weren’t aware of, and made the tour fun and engaging. She brought history to life and the tour flew by quickly! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and will schedule one again next time we are in Boston. Highly recommend!!

Best way to learn about Boston
Great time and incredible host that taught us all there is to know about Boston. One of the best tours I’ve ever been on. From the harbor to Cambridge we learned every step about the history of Boston starting with the revolution.

Perfect Way to See a Lot of Beautiful Boston
Best possible way to see a lot of Boston in 3 hours. Our driver picked us up at our hotel. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and professional, and of course a great driver in the Boston traffic. He helped orient us as he drove (this was my first time in Boston). Took us to the popular areas, as well as other areas the buses don’t go to like Chinatown. Filled us in on the history of Boston of which there is a lot. He dropped us off for a while at the Paul Revere House, and he had a pass so we got in for free. He waited outside then continued the tour. He was flexible and asked us where we would like to be dropped off. We wanted to eat at the North End so he dropped us off near there.

Terrific Tour. We got a great overview of Boston and its rich history.
Our guide, Christian, was terrific as far as his knowledge of the history of Boston. We always enjoy a private tour because it allows for continuous dialog and all our questions get answered. Boston would be tough to navigate unless you had a local who knew how to work his way around the narrow city streets.

3rd Tour with Trailblazer - GRAND!!
This was my 3rd time on a tour with Trailblazers (one time with Joan, for a literary tour of the area, one day with Martin for an all day tour of the Boston sights, and this one, with Martin, to explore the history and military aspects of Lexington and Concord). Martin was SO knowledgeable about the events that took place during the birth of our country, and all of the people who were part of these events. He made it fun to listen and learn, and gave us insight that we NEVER would have had if we had just gone to these sights by ourselves. I can honestly say that all of Trailblazer's tours are worth every penny - and both Martin and Joan are true gems. P.S. Their restaurant recommendations are spot on as well - make sure you ask them where to eat lunch/dinner and where the best pubs are!!

      Another incredible experience!!!!!
This was my second tour with Trailblazers, with Martin as our guide this time. Martin was incredible - it was my husband's first time touring Boston, and he was amazed at Martin's knowledge, stories and sense of humor. We had a blast - and, even though I have been to Boston many times, and have seen these sights many times, I still learned a LOT (which amazed me). There was never a dull moment, and Martin was very accommodating, tweaking the itinerary here and there to fit my husband's interests. I cannot recommend Trailblazers enough!!!!!!!

We had a fantastic private tour with Martin!
We had a fantastic private tour with Martin! It was pouring with rain so we changed our walking tour to a car tour, which was much better because 1. we didn't get soaked and 2. we saw so much more of Boston! He had so many funny and interesting stories about Boston, and he also gave us some great recommendations for food, and booked us in, which was super helpful and kind. We would thoroughly recommend booking a Trailblazer tour.

      The perfect guide
It’s such a pleasure to meet someone who both excels at his job and obviously loves doing it. Christian is not only extremely knowledgeable but he also possesses the ability to make the tour enjoyable for all ages. His interactions with our 9 year old grandson (our history buff) were a wonderful added feature to a thoroughly enjoyable and educational tour. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour with a charming guide
Martin brought the city to life for us during our driving tour through Cambridge and Boston. Over our 6 hour tour, he brought us to an amazing lunch spot with a front row view of historic Fenway Park, gave us great color on Harvard campus landmarks, and fascinating stories behind Revolutionary War monuments. Along the way, his quips, rapport, and Irish brogue kept us engaged throughout the day. Highly recommend taking a tour with Martin!

We had such a good time around Salem. Martin was wonderful, knowledgeable, and fun. I hope to do another tour with him the next time we are in the area. Just the right amount of time to see some interesting things. Perfect for a half-day tour.
