    Excellent Historical Ghost Tour
The Ghosts of Boston tour was great! Our guide, Justin, was excellent. It was easy to hear and understand him even at the busier stops, and his storytelling was engaging and funny! I especially enjoyed the historical context he gave the stories. A number of the stops involved famous historical figures such as Charles Dickens and yet they included numerous details that deepened and expanded my understanding of the times and didn't just make it feel like a retread of basic ghost tales. This particular tour is considered more family friendly that the later offering, and I would agree that that is the case.

    Well organized and friendly guides
It was a huge group but the company was prepared with two guides who split the group in 2 and managed those groups very well. The first pub was amazing. The guides were both very friendly and good story tellers. We did drop out of the tour by the third stop because the bars we were going to were very crowded and loud with live bands at the time of the tour. There is nothing wrong with that, but it’s just not our scene or what we were looking for. Our guide gave us a great recommendation for late night desserts at Bova where we headed after leaving. They showed concern for their guests making sure to account for people before moving on.

Real live Quakers ❤️ Liberty's ghost tour!
We had a fabulous time on our tour. Liberty was a delightful guide and told us lots of great, spooky stories. We hope we set her straight on Quakers, though! :)

Excellent tour. Excellent and very enthusiastic tour guide. Learnt lots. Had great fun. Though next time, please ensure the weather is better. Luckily the tour was good that it distracted the constant rain.

    An OK Tour
The tour was OK, if a little mediocre in parts and we could not hear the guide so well at times. Not much in the way of creating an atmosphere - not talking tacky stuff but more effort could be made to set the scene and create a sense of anticipation. The guide was pleasant.

    Enjoyable experience but nothing remarkable.
I did this walking tour with Max. I had a good time and learned some things and cool stories. I think he was new though because it took him a while to actually get to any ghost stories and he seemed a little unsure of himself. Plus he was late (public transit issues) and all of us were waiting. Also I guess you get what you pay for, but I admit I was jealous of the expensive G&G tour group because their guide apparently had the key to get into the burial grounds! They got to tour the grounds with just their group! Very cool. So if that one's in your budget, do that one, but if you want a smaller and more personal option, do this one. Anyway, I would do this one again if it were my first time.

My rating is a straight up 5 thanks to our engaging, informative, eccentric Zach who carries the tour so well between each transition and does a good job of never missing a beat of any of his exciting words. He's who I recommend if you could ever choose your own personal ghost tour guides. Would love to do it again for sure.

We had a wonderful time on our ghost tour! It was full of interesting stories and included many great stops. Eddy was a wonderful guide! He is skilled at telling stories in a captivating way, includes humor throughout the tour and overall shows enthusiasm for his job. We have used Ghost City Tours previously in Savannah, GA, and we can't recommend them enough!

Bo was our tour guide and he was so funny and so interactive with our tour group (there were 16 of us total)!
We didn't get very scared on our tour but the information he gave us at each stop was cool to know and he delivered it all in a very funny way. He had the entire group laughing throughout the hour+ timeframe.
If we could've gotten closer to each site that he took us to, I think the tour would've had a scarier vibe, but since everything was closed at night, we couldn't get very close.

Compared to the other ghost tour companies that we saw on our trip, this one had a more intimate group size so we all felt very much a part of the tour and free to ask questions. We also didn't have to load and unload off a bus in the middle of Boston, multiple times (such a headache to even find parking there).

All things considered, this was a fun experience and we got to see parts of Boston that we never would have before!

Don’t feel crazy if you feel some energy at the Granary Burial Ground. Tour guide does a good detailed job of painting a picture of what took place feet away from where you stand. Better than your average tour.

We truly enjoyed ourselves on this tour. Zach was a great story teller with an easy going, likable vibe. The stories where interesting and educational, not just typical spooky stuff, but also the history behind everything. We were staying at the haunted hotel on the tour and heard about the mirror and went to take a picture when we returned. You can see a hazy shadow in front of it. The side angle shows it wasn’t just a lighting trick or discoloration of the wood. So Hey Charles Dickens! 👋🏻 We see you! 👀

Our tour guide Bo was absolutely amazing!! Super humorous, friendly, sociable, and engaging. Loved the way he shared stories (both historical and anecdotal), as well as how he showed us around, with a good viewing spot at each stop (even when other tours were happening simultaneously). Our tour was well-paced and delivered brilliantly. Open to both believers and non-believers; I'm a skeptic myself, but it was so thrilling! Bo was open to all questions, knew his stuff, and was very entertaining. Thank you so much for the great experience :) 10/10 would recommend!

Your not as described in my opinion. Night time adult only ghost tour- our tour began at the state house. We had a lot of people and the guide did not have any type of microphone. With surrounding noise of traffic and people, it was difficult to hear if you weren’t up front. Guide started by rattling off things about the state building we couldn’t see from the sidewalk. We proceed down the street and stopped across the street from the cemetery, where the guide gave a comical story of a woman’s life which ended in an execution and they her spirt has been seen in the area. We did not get any closer to the cemetery. We then headed back to the state house and in the Boston common. Here we were given another long comical history story of another execution. We left after that one. Was not as described in our opinion. We were very disappointed.

Jonathan was amazing! His time taken and expressiveness in telling the stories kept us engaged the whole time. He went out of his way to make sure we had a *spooky* walk. We love going on haunted history tours and this was definitely a great one. Would 100% reccomend.

We appreciated not having any children in the tour with us. It was chilly but worth being a little cold. But Joh
nathan was the best! He even hung back to make sure the last of us stragglers got a ride home. ❤️

This tour was a waste of money. The tour guide was horrible at telling stories, it was hard to follow his train of thought, and worst of all, it wasn't even interesting or spooky. I knew we weren't going to see ghosts, but this should not be advertised as a ghost tour. It is a history lesson about the area from a tour guide who didn't know his history. Wish I could get my money back

I hate to leave not a great review because I felt our tour guide tried really hard and was sociable. However, the stories were super hard to follow and jumped around all over the place. Out of the 90 minute tour I didn't really gather even one full story I can tell people. After tour, especially happening/haunting type tours I love all the fun stories I'm left with. This was a comedy and sarcastic history tour- I already took a historical tour of Boston and. There were only a few happening/haunting stories during the full tour and even that, they weren't stories but a little mention and then he moved on. This is how my husband and I spent our halloween night so it is even more disappointing.
