Excellent tour from pick up to drop off.
Martha's Vineyard Martha's Vinyard has so much character with it's natural beauty and charming coastal towns. I understand why many people come/return to the island to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to relax. The island has an unhurried pace of life. I could have stayed on the island for a week. We were told, in the summer months, the island have as many as 95K seasonal visitors and tourist. The year-round population is 20k. I believe we came at the perfect time. The island wasn't crowded at all and the island seemed to be resting, recouping and welcoming the fall. As with any place we visit for the first time, we decided to do a bus tour around the island to learn about the island, it's history and to visit all six towns; Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Tisbury, West Tisbury, Chilmark, and Aquinnah. I took some pictures but not many. I kept forgetting to pull out my phone. The few pictures I took does no justice in capturing the island's beauty.

          Wonderful day trip, great guide.
I took this tour as a solo traveller and can highly recommend it. It is a small group tour and I made friends with other people on the tour who were great company. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was great with a wonderful sense of humour. She immediately established a good rapport with all the passengers. She was very informative and went the extra mile to make sure everyone was well looked after. She made you feel you were in safe hands. The trip itself was wonderful. Lots of places of interest to visit including the very picturesque wooden houses of Oak Bluffs. I had stopped off in Boston for a long weekend en route to the UK after a short trip to Canada so was short on time. This day tour, with the ferry out to Martha's Vineyard was perfect. What a great memory! Thank you.

Well worth the visit AND the island tour!
Fantastic guides and well worth doing. We had Timmy who drove us on the Boston side to Cape Cod and back, then Jeff, who picked us up for the island tour once off the ferry. Both were super informative, and I would 100% recommend this if you are visiting Martha's Vineyard. We would not have got half way round the island nor heard all of the interesting and quirky facts we learnt along the way.

          Best Money Spent
This was the best tour ever! Rory was an awesome tour guide and showed us all the most beautiful sites to see all the beautiful, colorful leaves. Highly recommend this tour. They pick you up and drop you off from where you started. Money well spent, I'd love to come back and book the same tour again, highlight of my trip! Thank you!

          Excellent day trip
Long day starting at 6am and back in Boston for about 7pm. Nice drive to the ferry and only a short 30 minutes or so across to the Island. We didn't book the Island tour but used the public busses to get around. We went to Edgartown, Vineyard Haven and back to Oak Bluffs on the busses and they were easy to find and use. Their website gives you loads of info and the prices were around $2-3 a ticket. It was throwing it down all day when we went but there were plenty of lovely local shops at each town to have a look in and we bought some really nice souvenirs. Our driver was very knowledgeable and told us everything we needed to know and there were toilet stops to and from Boston at a services that also sold food and drinks; although there was bottled water, breakfast bars, crisps and kit-kats and some other snacks on the bus for anyone who wanted them which was very nice! All in all a brilliant day trip!

          Beautiful island.
It's off season so not a lot of places open but the houses and beaches were beautiful. I enjoyed the tour. I would recommend it!

          Not a Fall Foliage trip
Nothing great about this tour - its called "Fall Foliage" but the experience was far from anything close - just driving all day and making pit stops here and there random places. Some history but nothing fascinating - not much fall foliage to see on this trip (the main purpose of our trip)

Best way to see the island
The tour was informative and fun. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. The stops were the perfect amount of time to see everything. The only problem is that only one real restaurant was open after the tour and everyone from the ferry was there trying to get a table.

Our 50th Anniversary trip to Martha's Vineyard
We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and we enjoyed this tour so much. The tour was organized and being out first time to Martha's Vineyard, it was very interesting and educational. The guides were full of information and humor. It made it very enjoyable. We would do it again!

We are so pleased we did this
Jennifer was our driver. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. I felt this excursion was worth the money. We didn't do the tour on the island so I cannot rate that but instead took the bus from tow to town. For an $8 day pass it is a bargain.

          Unhappy Traveler
My two adult daughters and I were very disappointed in this tour. Because the tour info included 30 minutes at the Lexington Green, we were looking forward to a bit of history there. We never stopped at the Lexington Green -- just drove by it and our female tour guide (on October 9) said that's the Green. She pointed out a few historic houses along the way. Would stop long enough for us to take a picture from the bus, so if we were on the wrong side, forget about it. There is absolutely no point in going to the North Bridge right now. It's got some type of construction going on, and you can't get near it. We saw it from afar, from one vantage point. The Wayside Inn was the only place we really liked, and would have loved to have a nice lunch there. They were getting ready. Sturbridge Village is great if you have kids. Otherwise, very unimpressed with spending several hours at a place that isn't real. Just built for tourists and like I said, families. I prefer seeing the places that really existed in the early days. Our driver had told us our last stop would be at a farm for cinnamon apple doughnuts, so we were rather looking forward to that. Come to find out we had to pay for our doughnuts, and the people in the shop acted like they weren't expecting us and had to go to the back to see if we could have any! Our driver ("tour guide") wasn't interested in any of this. And I was sitting right behind her and saw her speedometer at 70 mph. Made me a bit nervous! A waste of time altogether.

Great trip, Anthony our Tour guide was vey informative and entertaining also. Oak’s bluff and Edgartown are lovely places to ramble around with beautifully designed ‘gingerbread’ styled residences.

          Charming and beautiful
The most charming place I have visited. Loved the ferry trip over which I thought was value for money. Loved the quaint shops and all the beautiful houses. Of course we had to try the famous lobster roll $40 but didn’t mind paying that.the harbour was great and we took the us to the next town and crossed over the jaws bridge . We had the Boston cream donuts too.definitely recommended and I would say you only need a full day there.

Our driver/tour guide, David was wonderful. He obviously loves history and is a natural born storyteller (with a great voice). His description of the pilgrims voyage was the sound track in my head, as my sister and I toured the Mayflower 2. Every where we went he had the little details that made the people came alive. The drive down was lovely, and as he drove us through Quincy and Hull and Situate and Plymouth, he had little details about the history of the area and interesting people who lived there. We learned about Quincy, and Hamilton. We saw the Adams homes, where they were interred, and on the way home, learned about Boston. He had a wealth of trivia, little things; like it was the birthplace of the telephone and Tupperware and George HW Bush. He also was very considerate about making sure his group was comfortable, and he made sure everyone was dropped off safely and knew where they were, which is important in a strange town.

The tour was in a bus that carries a maximum of 22 people. We had 16 people on the tour which was a good size. It started with highlights of Quincy and a few surrounding towns. I particularly enjoyed driving past some beautiful coastal New England homes. The first highlight was the Mayflower 2, a replica of the original, followed by time to wander around Plymouth. A second highlight was Plimoth Patuxet, a replica of both an indigenous and a pilgrim settlement from 1627 with re-enactments of life at that time by costumed staff. It was fascinating to be able to walk into the authentic homes. David, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and his commentary prepared us to really understand what we were seeing. He added a personal touch on the way home, with excellent restaurant suggestions, an explanation of how Boston public transport works, and a better sense of Boston.

Snacks and water were provided, but not morning tea or lunch. We were pointed towards a number of excellent options.

We took the Boston to Plymouth Day-Trip in September 2023. Our driver was David who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and informative! It was so amazing how he would lead into a story or historical fact in a seemingly random manner just to come to the end or conclusion at the very moment we would arrive at the spot relevant to the story! Impeccable timing!
David's driving was excellent. The bus was very clean and we were offered water and snacks.
The drive was so nice with stops in Quincy, Situate, Plymouth and the Plimoth Patuxet Museum. In Plymouth a visit of the Mayflower II was included which was also very interesting! We had sufficient time to ourselves in Plymouth to get something to eat and walk around the pleasant town. Before the free time David gave us some good information on various restaurants in the immediate area.

If you take only one trip while in Boston we recommend this trip. It is a perfect mixture of learning about history, enjoying beautiful scenery and having some time to venture off on your own.

All in all a very pleasant experience!

This trip was awesome! Kristen was an amazing tour guide. We didn't realize it was the last tour of the season so unfortunately we weren't able to go inside the Quincey house and family library because they were making repairs. The museum was very interactive and the kids had a blast. I wouldn't take kids younger than 6 because it might be too much for 1 day. My daughter, age 6, rallied and we were pooped by the end but it was totally worth it. I recommend staying at one of the 5 hotels that does the pickups from. If not, leave extra time for parking and meeting. We got lucky that we found a valet last second to park our car because morning traffic extended our drive time to meet the bus and we almost missed it.

This was a full and rich day! Kristin is an excellent driver and guide and really went above and beyond. Because we had a relatively small group (6 people), she was able to add some extra stops to our itinerary and show us places that were off the beaten path (like an old fort in Hull). She also gave us some great advice (like going to the Yellow Deli for lunch in Plymouth). I enjoyed all the stops and especially loved seeing the Mayflower II and the Plimoth Patuxet Plantation, where it felt like I had stepped back in time. It was great to get out of Boston and see the surrounding area.

The trip was amazing and showed a lot of gorgeous Massachusetts coastline. Very informative and friendly guide, David. Probably the best part of our trip to Boston. Small group and intimate tour ith a lot of sights and stories you wouldn't normally get if visiting spaces individually. Pre-planned itinerary made enjoying the trip so much more enjoyable and easygoing without stressing about where to go or when.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our tour! David P. our guide did simply a wonderful job. He's knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the places that we saw. The weather was wonderful, but a good idea to dress appropriately because it can get a little chilly near the ocean. The ride in the motor van was enjoyable with lots to see and plenty of information given. We hit each of the stops on the itinerary, with the Mayflower II/Plymouth Rock and the Plimoth Patuxet plantation being real highlights of our trip.

Our tour guide, David was exceptional. He was very good driving our bus as well as providing commentary throughout our trip. We saw everything mentioned, even though we had a somewhat rainy and blustery day! Great Day trip. The only experience I wish that could have been added was actually going inside the John Adams Quincy Home and Library. We were an hour too early so just walked the grounds.

Dave was our driver on the Boston to Plymouth day trip and he was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. We’ve been on several of these around the US and this one was excellent. He was knowledgeable, fun and entertaining. Thanks for a great day of sightseeing Dave. We saw some spectacular scenery. I would highly recommend it.

An extraordinary day, skilfully and wholeheartedly enhanced by David's brilliantly illuminating commentary! Especially loved the expert infusion of historical knowledge and all aspects of visiting Plymouth. The quality of the actors' impersonation of the original settlers was phenomenally researched and dramatically engaging.
