About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Suicu0 contributionsA great night at the ballpark! We visited for the One Piece giveaway. We had a great view from our seats, although they could use some padding. The crowd was very nice as were the staff and we enjoyed the band that played outside during pregame. The food and drinks are not cheap but we ate beforehand. The park was very clean. We easily found an Uber for the ride home afterwards and Boston won!Written August 29, 2024
- Bonnietheb0 contributionsNeeds no more explanation. They built it. We came.We attended a Blue Jays game in June that was rained out so we came back for the continuation of the game. We had great seats and the area was quieter than the original game, which was nice as space is tight. The experience was great but for the local that moved 5 kids into the seats in front of us from who knows where. Wouldn’t have minded other than they totally ruined the famous “sweet Caroline” moment by standing on the seats blocking us out of the atmosphere completely. I get it. She was a local and a big fan but consideration for others would have been nice here. Still had a good time. If you love baseball or all the movies that have been filmed here it’s a must see if you are passionate about g through!Written August 27, 2024
- StuartD8250 contributionsA must do ..The Green Monster eh ... Very impressive. The Red Sox may have lost today, but great atmospher, and so much history around every corner. Recommended !Written August 25, 2024
- Amy B0 contributionsPricey but worth itWe went to a baseball game to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday, as he has been a Red Sox fan forever. We loved the whole experience, however were unaware we couldn’t take ruck sacks into the park with us after a day trip out in Boston. There was a helpful checking service that kept them (for 11$) for us. There was a security check to get in and bags had to be a certain size or clear. The team store was inside the park grounds and is pricey but worth a visit. We loved the whole atmosphere of the park. We sat on the third baseline and had a great view. The concessions are expensive but if you buy the souvenir cup for 9$ as opposed to the 6$ cup you can refill it all game long. Beer was $12.75. A slice of pizza was 7$. So pricey concessions but it was a one off event for us so we did it all.Written August 18, 2024
- NoBoAdventures0 contributionsNBA visits Fenway ParkIconic. This is a must visit for any baseball fan. There is public parking garages surrounding Fenway and going into the park is a great baseball atmosphere. Inside the ballpark you have the The Triangle, Pesky's Pole and Green Monster, seating is tight and the place gets packed. They serve Irish Nachos, Boston Creme Pie and all the Aramark foods. The night we went the Red Sox played the Yankees and it was electric! Added another ice cream helmet.Written August 9, 2024
- Sheargenius550 contributionsBetter for Baseball than concerts IMOFenway all in all is fun and brings out some Boston spirit. I have attended for concerts, as well as sports. Your seat really does make a difference. I would suggest if your seeing a concert, make sure to get the floor seats. Anything else is a waste because it’s so far away. I went in July for a red socks game and we sat in the Coca-Cola seats which were very high up but amazing view. I would suggest getting seating closer to the infield is best for a game. And seating higher up is nice for an overall view. Getting in and out is WILD. Make sure to leave with extra time to park. And then make sure you remember what direction you came from. When leaving, there is a lot of chaos and depending on where you parked you may have to walk around the entire stadium. I took off one star for that because it can be a big pain in the butt.Written August 2, 2024
- bakerm22900 contributionsGreat concert venue!Foo Fighters show- EXCELLENT! Enjoyed every bit of the experience. With one exception - the pot. The staff was friendly. The food options were excellent. Thankfully our seats were not in the sun- because it was HOT!Written July 29, 2024
- MichaelK18870 contributionsHistoric Fenway and the Green MonsterHistoric ballpark with the iconic Green Monster in left field...no better place to see a ballgame...other than Wrigley of course.Written July 27, 2024
- RobL3570 contributionsFenway park.I’ve been going to Fenway for over 45 years. Great childhood memories. My first major league game. I was in awe when I first walked up the ramp and saw the park for the first time. However. As I got older and started to travel to other newer parks around the country, I came to the conclusion that Fenway, is severely past antiquated. I love the history but the park, especially the concourse, is cramped. I’d love to see a brand new Fenway .Written July 24, 2024
- Stewart B0 contributionsWorth a visitAs a Brit not really into Baseball but did the tour and went to a match , sitting in the bleachers. The tour was really good and I have to say great stadium. The game was also really good loved the atmosphere and the razzmatazz outside.Written July 22, 2024
- County-Hunter0 contributionsA baseball iconWhen you talk about great baseball stadiums, you have to bring Fenway Park into the conversation. First of all, it isn't called by some stupid corporate name. When you say Fenway, even a casual baseball fan knows what you are talking about. This was our second trip to Fenway. We have been to all 30 MLB parks and we traveled specially to go to Fenway again. It is impossible to compare Fenway with other parks because only Fenway and Wrigley Field are in that category. I can say that the food is just as good as anywhere else, but even better are the sausage stands just outside the park on Landsdowne Ave. We took the "T" to and from the stadium. It is easier and cheaper than trying to drive to the stadium and find parking.Written July 13, 2024
- 174patricea0 contributionsA New Red Socks FanThe ballpark may be one of the oldest, but it's definitely a good time. There are very few obstructed seats in the stadium. There are helpful guides throughout the stadium who were friendly and could direct you to where you needed to go. The food lines seemed inefficient; lines of people grabbing food and then waiting to check out at a single cashier did not seem like the best way to manage crowds. The baseball was fun. The crowds were into the game. And, we got a stamp from our MLB passport book. Can't wait to come back.Written July 12, 2024
- mmflatt0 contributionsLove the park!We had so much fun! First of all - I'm not a Boston fan. But we had such a great time at the park. The game was fun...the accommodations were top notch! Fortunately we were under cover as it was a warm day. Our view was slightly blocked by a pole but it wasn't too obtrusive. Something has to hold up the upper deck! The staff was friendly as were the other guests. It's definitely a great place to go even if you're not a fan.Written July 8, 2024
- cjyap0 contributionsHad funWent to a concert at Fenway. Overall great experience. For this concert I got some of the cheaper seats, which was great because my seats were covered. The VIP seats were in the infield, which of course is great for being close up to the stage and performers, BUT if it is raining, there is NO cover. There were times it was pouring. Our concert was delayed due to threat of lightning, and all spectators not in a covered area were told to go inside. When the threat was over and the concert started, there were some adjustments in the show, fewer bands performed. We were updated while we waited. Fun, fun atmosphere.Written June 23, 2024
- jchansen140 contributionsAmerican ClassicTook a good friend to Fenway Park for the first time. It was a blast. Great atmosphere and good food. It's a true slice of Americana that should be on every baseball fan's list.Written June 12, 2024

Ok,about a week after we got home LeBron made his comments about Boston fans and prior to going my sister warned me to be careful due to possible racial issues. I’m black and my husband is white. Things can go a couple of ways for us. Overall we really enjoyed Boston. Got some stares but most people were kind. This incident was our only standout experience.
Let’s get the good said and done. The tour was lots of fun and the older gentleman who led the tour was funny, energetic and mindful of his audience. I highly recommend the tour. Be prepared to walk/ climb stairs.
THAT being said. If you are a person of color leave your bag at home or in the car or be prepared to pay $5 to the park for your purse. Take a look at the current guidelines, it states : “No bags larger than 5x9 allowed with the exceptions of medical or diaper bags” period. There’s nothing else. So imagine the large group about 10 people ahead of us when they were denied entrance for small purse book bags. My husband looked at me and I said no hon, I’m fine. This is clearly a purse …Coach retail purse. Imagine my surprise when I was told that because of my straps I had to either not go or place my purse with their store down the block on my dime! We were traveling, we wanted to do the tour, and some days you just don’t feel like dying on a hill. So we ran to the store a block away, gave them $5 for something we had no forewarning of. I was not a happy camper, but sometimes life just sucks. By the way they don’t measure, have an example there, it’s all subjectively decided by the “jerk” at the door.
THEN we proceeded on the tour. Because we were delayed, we were in the back and I had a lovely view of all these backs with their backpack purses, across the body purses and one huge purse on the shoulder. I’m peeved but again sometimes life sucks.
THEN my husband specifically directed me to tell him who had the offending bags and who had been turned away. I normally pay attention to who is given a pass and who’s not. It completely went over my head until my husband pointed it out. The group ahead of us who had to take about 5 bags to the car to gain entrance were clearly by look and heavy accent Hispanic. The people walking around with their bags still on them were white! 😯
Again, persons of color, take a wristlet or clear it with the subjective possible jerk at the desk that day or risk being denied.

This was our first time being in Boston. My son-in-law is a big Red Sox fan so we found this tour and purchased tickets. The tour was totally worth it. Our guide was funny and told us so much information and history of Fenway Park. We got to sit in the original seats from the 1930s, the Green Monster seats, and also the press box seats and saw the field in so many different ways it was amazing. We also learned they have their own little roof top garden and so many live concerts have been at Fenway Park. I would totally recommend this tour for anyone that is a baseball fan or first time visitors!!!

This tour was part of my son's 10th birthday weekend extravaganza, and he LOVED it. He just got really interested in baseball this past year and it was so exciting for him to learn the history of the park and be able to see the "behind the scenes" aspect of it. Going to the press box was a highlight for him, as was being able to have our picture taken with the World Series trophies **These are NOT always available, they just happened to be out during our tour**. Our tour guide was wonderful, able to add humor where appropriate and was able to be flexible when the concert that was warming up interrupted the tour. He made sure to repeat any information we may have missed during the drum solo. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in baseball OR history, as the history of the park itself is fascinating.

Don't waste your money on this tour, at least not on a game day. Check-in was in the Team Store which was absolute chaos. Wall to wall people pushing and shoving, and then the ballpark tour guides left 15 minutes before the start of the tour even though a bunch of us were still waiting to check in and get wrist bands.
Tours are huge - 50-75+ people each and there were multiple tours. As soon as the tour started, so did batting practice and the music they played was so loud. We were SO disappointed - we could not hear a single word our guide said. We were so looking forward to learning about the ballpark and I am not being dramatic when I tell you we heard zero words this guide said once the music started. He eventually stopped talking all together because 1) it was pointless and 2) people were getting angry that they couldn't hear him.
Got on the field to watch batting practice but the tiny roped-off area was jam packed with people. Too many tours down on the field at once, you could not see anything. Spent way too much time in this area just shoulder to shoulder with other people while not seeing anything that was going on at batting practice because too many people and they were selfish and would not move out of the way to let others see.
Last part was the Green Monster, which was cool to see, but there were multiple tours up there at the same time also and all the seats were taken (as well as standing room). So, we had to take a peak at the seats and the view and then wait at the concourse.
The tour ended exactly at the 60 minute mark and not a minute longer. This was SO disappointing. I have been to other ballpark tours and they were stellar, but this is a huge rip-off. I booked through MLB and they say all sales are final or I would be demanding a refund. Don't waste your time and money, you will be so disappointed like we were!

Well worth the price of the ticket for this historic land mark. Booked on line and collected my ticket from gate D. Tour was split in to a more manageable size and so everyone gets the chance for pictures or questions. You get to see behind the scenes from the away teams changing rooms to the press box. You also get to sit in the oldest seats and then on to the most expensive above the green Minster.
The tour guides are very knowledgeable and use a microphone with portable speaker.

The sport of baseball was practically born and raised here - and the love of baseball seemed to be seeping out the pores of this 110 year old stadium as we toured and then stayed for the game that evening. Loved the stories from our guide - like why is there ONE red seat in the grandstands? Side note on the fans at Fenway that night: I proudly wore MY team's colors all day, knowing the home team Red Sox were playing my Mariners that same evening. Rather than ragging on me, many fans tipped their Red Sox hat to me and thanked me for being there, for the love of the game. Well done BoSox fans! I loved your stadium - you clearly display what it means to you, and it shows.

I am somewhat of a baseball fan (St. Louis Cardinals), and found myself in Boston for a few days, so I thought why not tour Fenway Park? At the beginning of the tour, our guide, Sarah, shared that her goal was to not necessarily make us all Red Sox fans, but to make us fans of Fenway Park. She did that in spades!
We were in a very large group, so I thought it might be difficult for her to manage. Between the mic system she carried and the extra person to help herd us around, it was done very well! Sarah was very friendly and knowledgeable and very impressive with the way she handled a particularly precocious young man; another guide may have lost all his or patience, but not Sarah. In fact, she let him have the spotlight at an appropriate time and that tickled him immensely.
The tour didn't seem rushed at all and we had several opportunities to take LOTS of pictures! We sat in the original wooden seats in the oldest MLB stadium in the country. I only wish I had been in town for the Wild Card game the next night. That would have been icing on the cake!
This was a definite highlight of my first trip to Boston!

Although I have grown up seeing games I had never gotten a full tour of the stadium. Highly recommend it, you really get to not only be exposed to the history but you get to appreciate it more! The only thing I would warn against is the weather, even if its sunny out you have no idea how windy it will be. If you are a diehard baseball fan however, this is the tour for you!

I am not a fan of baseball but my friend wanted to go on the tour.
Our tour guide was great. Very informative and seemed to be very excited about working at Fenway park. He was very knowledgable about all of the historic facts and allowed us time to look at things we were interested in as well as taking time to answer questions.
We were lucky enough to watch the groundscrew remove the rain covering from in field -- a feat done in about 3 minutes or so.
Cons: We did not get to see the "inside" or the "guts" of the stadium and how things work behind the scenes. Would have been nice to see the dugouts up close and the locker rooms as well.

A great experience for all baseball fans. Our tour guide, Vic, had extensive knowledge of the Red Sox team’s history, delivered his presentation with a touch of humour and self deprecation on behalf of the team. He kept our attention with anecdotes and interacted well with his audience. An hour well spent.

What is the difference between the Public Tour ($25) and the Pregame Tour ($40), other than cost?

I am sorry I don't know. When we were there the Sox's were not playing, they came back the week after we left. All that was happening at Fenway when we visited was preparing the stadium for 2023 season. We just enjoyed our guide and the experience of walking around Fenway Park, seating in the original seats also in the green monster seats. I am sure whatever tour you decide on you will enjoy the rich history.

If you're not staying in Boston and are just driving in , you really need to plan ahead. The day we were there there was no nearby parking so we went to more remote garages and they were full. Street parking is only two hours and what we found was so far away, we werent' sure we could get there and back. We missed the first tour, but they allowed us on the next one after we payed a man $25 to watch our car in a place where it wasn't allowed. We took the tour and got our car back, but next time we will come real early, get a space in a garage somewhere and uber to the location.

Backpacks are not allowed on the tour. Are there lockers or storage available for a bag during the tour?

do not miss it!!
