- webb0 contributionsFabulous Boston City TourAustin took us for two and a half hours on bike to every Boston landmark and area we wanted to see. Super knowledgeable, great energy and super safe. Highly recommend this tour to get a really good idea where to go back and see on your vacation. Thanks for the fun!Written November 7, 2024
- roba9760 contributionsGreat tour with a great guide !Had an amazing time with guide Austin, touring through Boston. He's a very knowledgable guide, sharing lots of background history and trivia on the places we've seen. Highly recommended !Written October 31, 2024
- RunningCrazyCouple0 contributionsSafe, interesting & funGreg and Michele were excellent guides. This tour was a fantastic overview of the city for our first Boston visit. I was a little nervous about biking in the city but was completely comfortable the entire ride. We’ll be back!Written October 31, 2024
- dkginther0 contributionsGreat way to learn about BostonMy wife and I had a great time. At 73 and 64 we were able to participate and enjoy the 2 1/2 hour tour. Our guides Charles and Ken were so good at everything the did. Going through downtown traffic was challenging at time but I felt safe with our leaders. We used the e-bikes which worked great for us.Written October 19, 2024
- Cruiser150963495430 contributionsSafe Easy and enjoyableWe really enjoyed our local guides that were born in Boston or had lived here most their lives. The knowledge from the 1600-2000’s was awesome. We rode far and saw so much of the city but it was not a difficult ride. Only one real up hill but the bikes were kept up and made it no problem. If you want they also have e-bikes to help. Enjoyed and would come back again for sure.Written October 19, 2024
- HollyMTitanium0 contributionsSite seeing and workoutWe had a small tour with Austin. He was a great tour and went a little farther than normal. He took us to some good spots for photos and was always making sure we were comfortable and willing to keep pushing. He gave a lot of insight to the area. It was also a nice little workout to boost.Written October 18, 2024
- X783CSjamieh0 contributionsGreat way to see a lot of the cityHad a great time on this tour and we were able to see so much more of the city! Tour guides made sure everything and everyone was taken care of along the way.Written October 6, 2024
- Maria Izabel S0 contributionsGood momentsI could visit some historic points of Boston with very good and experienced guides, in a funny and safe way! Boston has bike paths all over the city!Written October 1, 2024
- grahamfY8846TJ0 contributionsThis is the way to see Boston!Incredibly well organized and executed bike tour covering 11 miles with 8 stops and fantastic commentary along the way by Costa with Alex keeping us all together from the back! We got a real understanding of the history of Boston bringing us up to modern times.Written September 27, 2024
- briansO7185NI0 contributionsWonderful experienceHave been to Boston dozens of times but felt this tour looked interesting and a good way to get some exercise on vacation. Really well designed tour with regular stops and engaged guides. Learned a lot of interesting facts and saw some unique places. Even motivated us to tour the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill monument afterwards. Great tour, highly recommended!Written September 26, 2024
- Scot450 contributionsCycling BostonMy wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our bicycle tour of Boston which was conducted by our tour guide Austin. It was great to be guided round the city of Boston and learn the history of bygone days. We covered a lot of ground in the two and a half hrs and even my almost 65 year old legs coped reasonably well considering I haven’t ridden a bicycle in almost 10 years 🤣 It’s an experience I will never forget and would recommend to anyone visiting Boston on vacation.Written September 13, 2024
- clairesY7831ZY0 contributionsBoston on a bikeGreat fun way to see the city. Austin was great at sharing the history in an interesting and humorous way and guiding us through the busy streets 😎Written September 12, 2024
- 614nishitah0 contributionsGreat tour and historyGreat way to see Boston and get quick history lesson. Guides were very knowledgable and helpful. We felt safe even though we were on busy city streets. Definitely do this on a nice day!Written September 11, 2024
- ArnoudColombia0 contributionsUnfriendlyGood bikes. Good maps with clear tour instructions. Unfriendly business and personnel. Almost obligued to rent 24-hour…. As any minute overdue of a 2-hour rent will throw you right away to double the prive… When returning bikes, not an inmediate check-out with CC closure; “no sir; we need first to check your bike, which I will do in the next two hours”. “I will then close you CC, if all is OK”….. easier to return a rented car than a bike.Written September 9, 2024
- Escape165709393150 contributionsExcellent TourWhen we arrived at the bike shop the staff took their time to fit us with the proper bikes and equipment. Lee and Len were great guides. We walked 6 miles the day before, rode the subway around and didn't see near what we saw on a perfect bike ride, with information about the city and all of the different areas of Boston. We would definitely recommend the tour!!!Written September 8, 2024

A well thought out trail that took us from Boston to Cambridge and back. As we did go through some high traffic areas, I give a lot of credit to our tour guide for keeping safety front and center. I would have welcomed more information and narration being automatically built into the ride, but when I asked specific questions, our guide was very capable and informed to answer them. If you want to learn about the city, ask questions:) I would recommend this tour and give it a 5 start

Had a great tour of Cambridge with Bob. We were booked on the Saturday afternoon of marsthon weekend and it expected it to be busy however it ended up just being four of us and we were all on holiday together.
Bob gave us a great balance of history, interesting facts and laughs along with around 12 miles of cycling.
Interesting sights including MIT and Harvard along with other familiar sights.
We were out for 2.5 hours and the time flew by. We all agreed we had a brilliant afternoon and would recommend to others.
Thanks Bob

Loved this local shop. Super organized, helpful, safety conscious and most importantly a fun tour! Austin and Bob led us through so many green spaces I didn’t know existed in Boston/Cambridge. Of course seeing all the colleges and the learning the interesting tidbits about them was very interesting. One of my favs was going over the water locks and be sure rings the bell art installation!

We did the Cambridge tour and really enjoyed it. The weather was perfect, the bikes were comfortable and well-maintained, and the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a relatively flat and easy ride? Mostly on bike paths and in bike lines. Highly recommend!

This was our 3rd tour with UrbanAdventours and it did not disappoint! It ended up being just our family that went with Greg for the trip. He was awesome! Had so much knowledge of the area. Ironically, we are going to Chicago soon and he's originally from there - so he shared some of that knowledge with us as well. He kept us safe (it was 2 adults and a 12 y/o boy) which obviously it of the upmost importance. We will definitely tour with them again in the future!

We had an awesome tour with Charles, our resident Bostonian tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of Boston and the Cambridge area that our bicycle tour went through. He rode at a great pace to see everything we hoped to see and more. Thanks Charles!!!

I had the good fortune to take this tour on Sunday 4th April. I had taken the Boston City tour the previous day and my review applies to both tours. Brand new quality easy to ride bikes. Great friendly staff both in the store and the guides. The cycling pace was perfect for a group of mixed ability cyclists - a gentle pace that enabled us to appreciate all the sights. Guides were extremely knowledgeable friendly and appeared to enjoy the tours as much as the guests. Can not say which tour was best, Boston was a little more congested with a little traffic but nothing scary, and lots to take in. Cambridge was less congested and less built up with lots of off road riding through Harvard and along the Charles river. Give these tours a go - you will not be disappointed.

Friendly knowledgeable guide, like the urban guru of bicycle paths. We could not have done this type of adventure on our own without a lot more planning and a lot more time. Highlights include the paul Revere statue, the tribute to the MIT policeman lost to the Boston marathon bomber, the “Harvard Yard”, and much more. The key is the Adventure, the Experience, the courtesy, the convenience, and the well maintained equipment.
