This tour was a great way to visit local breweries for those who are new or even familiar in the area. Our guide Adrienne gave us some great facts and chose some great beers for us even if we didn't think we would like them. Even if there was a beer that wasn't on our list to try and saw one we would've liked to try, Adrienne was able to hook us up with a free taste! Plus if we bought any beer for home, he had a cooler in the van so it wouldn't go bad! Adrienne was so great, even afterwards we forgot to grab our goodies we had purchased on our tour and met up with us to return our belongings. While 5 hours seems a long time when signing up, it didn't feel like it. Would definitely go again next time we are in town.

We had an absolutely fabulous experience on this tour. Adrian was an amazing tour guide. He was so passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. He had a wealth of knowledge about the beers, the breweries,5 and Boston. He went above and beyond to make our experience a great one.

We are locals and took this tour as a way to experience some new breweries. But now, we are eager to try other City Brew Tours when we travel.

Aaron was a fantastic guide! He took us to threr good breweries, told us all about beer history, and the beer making process. Boston had some great breweries and the three we visited were good but Dorchester brewery was really great! Thanks Aaron!

As I have a keen interest in trying various types of beer, the more obscure the better, this brew tour was perfect for me.

My wife and I booked this on a recommendation from a colleague of mine, and I can gladly say that it did not disappoint. A tour of 4 different breweries, coupled with history of beer, and about 20 samples of beer, this is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons to what Boston has to offer.

With Liam as our tour guide, he made 11 strangers feel comfortable from the first minute, cracking jokes and generally making sure everyone was having a good time. His attempt at a Scottish accent still needs a bit of work though!

The food offered on the tour was excellent and the beer samples provided offered a wide range which was perfect. Even my wife, who isn't a major beer drinker, loved this.

Thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants to try real beer, rather than the commercial stuff you're faced with in a regular bar.

A brew tour to inform, educate, and enjoy. We were fortunate to have Chad and Matt guide us. We sampled great brew at four places. Night shift brew was a gem. If you're interested in the brew process, and want to be guided this is the only way to enjoy yourself. Chad offers boundless information, and knows his beer. He takes you to unique breweries and informs you of the history of beer, and beer in Boston. This is a fantastic boston activity. Can't wait to try their Burlington Vermont tour too.

By far well worth the money and time. I highly recommend it if you're in the Boston area and have nothing to do or want to check out the local craft breweries. They took us around to 4 places, Harpoon being the start. It's nice to have transportation between breweries rather than getting into a car and driving around. I went when it was snowing outside and had a blast. Go with a friend or two, but book it in advanced otherwise you won't have a spot.

If you can, I would definitely have Max as your driver. He's knowledgeable about beer and made the trip interesting and fun. By far one of the best brewery tours I have ever been on.

You don't have to really pay for drinks at this but you have the opportunity to buy beer while at different places if you want. You do get a free meal out of it so there is that.

We went to three pubs, and tried 3 beers at each place. It was fun. The guide discussed/walked us through how beer is made and I definitely recommend it.

Me and my mom decided to do a brew tour when we visited Boston and it was way better than what we expected. Our guide Aaron was awesome! Super fun and knowledgeable, made the experience even better. Our group was so much fun we even went out after the tour was over. Must do while in Boston!
