We met up at the front of Harvard Yard. We were fifteen minutes early, so we strolled around, heading to Harvard Yard, only to find out it was closed due to reunion parties for the alumni, which occurs every 5 years. Once the time was up, we went to the front. Our tour guide was Molly, who gave us sweet tidbits of information about the history and happenings about Harvard. She showed us what the Harvard curse was, described the dining hall, told the story about their expansive library, and told us Harvard’s screaming tradition before exams.
At the end, she left us at the student-run gift shop. Molly was a fantastic tour guide. The tour was wonderful, and it was filled with fascinated faces, small laughter, and dozens of pictures. It was slightly raining, drizzling, so be sure to bring an umbrella or raincoat. Overall, it was a fantastic tour.

Recommended, you don’t go into buildings but instead is around the campus. Andrew told us about the University’s history, funny things about it also (check the story behind John Harvard statue); you can also ask questions. The tour ends at the Harvard’s shop run by students.

University’s museums are open to public, but are not walk-in, just take 5 min to make a reservation on the website and you’re ready to go!

Our tour guide Natalie was awesome and even with a mostly underwhelming and unresponsive crowd, that didn’t deter her from making it a fun and enjoyable tour. The tour was very informative and we got to visit very historic sites and hear very funny stories. All in all it was a great experience and an even better guide! 100000/10 would recommend!

Our guide was super cute and bubbly, but there were just WAY too many people on the tour. She did not have a very loud voice and she had a British accent so we missed ALOT of what she was saying. We were rather disappointed. If you are going to send 30 something people on a tour, the guide needs a microphone.

The tour was great! Really enjoyed learning about the history, notable alumni, and notable buildings at Harvard. Ashley is a student at Harvard; who was a great tour guide who kept it engaging and was entertaining for the full hour and fifteen minutes. She also answered some of our questions after finishing. Highly recommend!!

John, our tour guide was a recent graduate. He shared his personal experiences, historical knowledge and fun facts. The campus was too large to visit every square mile. We did not enter the buildings nor go inside the dorms. Our daughter was taking a summer pre college program and we were unable to enter due to COVID - so, I bet it was for the same reasons. You need a hat and proper walking shoes. It lasted 1.5 hours, at a temperature of about 75-80 degrees. So, it was bearable and on a beautiful sunny day. I highly recommend the hat and sunglasses, as well as a bottle of water. We visited dorms where famous and renowned people lived, heard the history of John Harvard and The Harvard/Elkins Widener Library, Harvard Square, and finally the Harvard Shop that had some good prices for tourists. We enjoyed our tour and highly recommend.

We had such a great time on our Harvard tour! Our guide Louis was absolutely hilarious and so witty, and gave us tons of wonderful historical information while also making everyone laugh. The tour went around the perimeter of the campus first, then we got to walk through the old yard and the new yard and got to see a ton of student dorms, libraries, dining halls, etc. Super great and thorough look at the campus without being too overwhelming for a family of 5. Louis also answered all of the groups many questions and was very kind and personable. Overall, no complaints, and 10/10 would totally recommend!! Great Job Louis!

Marcus was such a joy and full of energy. Made me stay alert to his every word. Amazing how much he knew and how he could share while walking backwards as well. Highly recommend as we walked back through and kids seemed to remember what he told us about each spot so my 13 and 18 year old paid attention as well.

Very nice to have a tour by a current student. She new her facts and script. She made the tour enjoyable with quizzes. We were traveling with a junior so wanted to take this tour to view the university. Enjoyed it even though drizzling. Only suggestion is tour should make clearer that they do not go into campus but instead around the perimeter (on city not university property). That being said guide was full of info and could point out major university landmarks. We recommend this, especially given price of tour. It was worth it.

Cinthya was a joy to have as a guide. Despite the fact she’s probably given the tour hundreds of times, she was extremely enthusiastic and engaging. If Cinthya is representative of the students at Harvard then the future looks bright.
