    Excellent whitewater rafting experience
First family whitewater rafting experience was very organized and enjoyable. The company prioritized safety. A knowledgeable guide was provided for each boat. The trip also included a rock jump and swimming.

Amazing Adventure on the French Broad
Outstanding friendly service from start to finish! Our guide Laney expertly guided my bachelor party down the French Broad. She offered us opportunities to jump off rocks and ride on the front of the boat aka “riding the bull.” Nate took amazing photos of our crew as we went through different rapids. Bus driver safely got us to and from the AAC HQ. Do not hesitate to book with this company. Amazing adventure! You will not regret this trip.

    Kayaking in Asheville
Beautiful kayaking along the Biltmore Estate. All the staff were friendly from the moment we arrived and parked until we were assisted out of the water after our 3 hour self- guided tour. Views were amazing!

    Had a great time....try it!!
Had a great time with the family! Enjoyed jumping off the high rock, too. (You'll see if you go) I wish the raft went over rougher water, but it was my first time. Maybe it was for the best?? This was a real "bucket list event." I know it isn't cheap, but worth it at least 1 time in your life to try!

    Great rafting trip
Great trip with great guides. Trip is 4 hours as they say. Rapids were in my opinion light but that was because of the water level on the river, not much they can control. It’s a great family trip. Definitely not too hard or too light. Two things they could improve and you should be aware of: 1. You can take a back pack with you, and leave it on the bud while you’re rafting. They leave someone on the bus, so your stuff is “safe”. I would prefer lockers but not a deal breaker. 2. KNOW YOUR GUIDE! If you have a great trip and want to tip them (you should) 9/10 times the guide stay behind for the next float. They have slots and Venmo the guide a tip, but unless your remember their name you won’t have an opportunity to catch it once you leave. Like I said just a couple area of improvement. If I get the opportunity to go again I would use this company in a heartbeat.

    First time Whitewater Rafting
Our first experience Whitewater Rafting, Izzy was our guide and she was very skilled, great personality and we not only had fun but also felt safe the entire time. We got stuck a few times on the rocks but It was so cool to work together as a rafting team to free ourselves. I also loved that we got to jump off a short rock cliff and swim in the river. The French Broad River is absolutely beautiful too. Thank you for an incredible first time experience, French Broad Whitewater Rafting Company 💯💪🙌❤

    Best trip of vacation!!!
This is a MUST DO !! Such a great staff all the way around and our guide Ian S. was the absolute best! He made us feel very safe and had good knowledge of rafting, but most importantly he was supper fun and entertaining without the feeling of being put on! Also, big shout out to him for dragging my big butt back on the raft after the swim lol. GO HAVE FUN HERE !!!!

    Great Tour!
This was a great tour - very organized and instructions were clear. Our guide, Wes, was very friendly and knowledgeable about Asheville and stopped along the way to share the history and local information. The ebikes were really easy and fun to ride and the views were fantastic. We enjoyed the stop at Grove Park Inn, where we learned more about the Inn and got to walk around a bit. We also saw 2 bears on the ride and was fun to stop and watch them and get a few pictures....all very safe distance and luckily a fence in between. The tour is a mix of greenway and road...hills going up and a fun downhill ride on the way back. Easy to find location in the Arts District and free parking in the back and all around the building. I would definitely recommend the tour.

We had the best time on this tour. If you like beer and can ride a bike, this is the tour for you. Jordy took us to 4 local breweries. The e-bicycle is very user friendly and makes going up a hill easy-peasy. The next time I'm in Asheville, I'd take this tour again. Thanks for a great time! My 4th of July was super memorable.

This is a great trip. A very fun way to see and taste some of Asheville’s best offerings. Highly recommended!

Our guide Sydney was fantastic. She made sure we were all following her, gave helpful advice on which gear to be in, was extremely cautious about traffic, and checked in with us frequently to ensure that her itinerary was satisfactory. We loved traveling with her.

Such fun! Enjoyed each brewery with different beers and environments. The bikes were great - electric assist (no throttle). They got us where we needed to go with little exertion as there are 5 assist levels to choose on the not too hilly route. We are seniors so anyone can do it. Really enjoyed our fellow bikers with whom we bonded and enjoyed the 4 hour tour safely and cordially in this challenging time. Was great to get some exercise, tour Asheville, enjoy safe camaraderie while sampling some brews.

The tour was scheduled as a 4 hour tour but was only 3 and 1/2 which included a lengthy stay at the last brewery. The rides in between breweries were very fast and could have been slowed down a bit. Our guide loved speed. It takes some adjusting to learn the gears of the bikes and cannot be done in the small parking lot prior to the tour. We have been on multiple e bike tours and we recommend that new riders insist on adequate instruction before starting.

We did the afternoon brewery tour through Asheville. Our guide was Wes and he did an amazing job taking us through 4 of the breweries around Asheville. We had one beer at each stop and our tour lasted just over 4 hours. Each brewery had its own vibe and with the e-bikes, it was not too strenuous even though it was close to 90 degrees outside. If you are lucky enough to get Wes as your guide, make sure you ask about the glass blowing that he does and stop by to see some of his work that is on display(and for sale) along the way. It’s truly some impressive artwork. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We did this as a group in late October with our fantastic guide Molly. It was incredibly fun, very safe and I highly recommend taking this tour. They were well-prepared, got us all organized, fitted and with helmets, gave great safety precautions and bike instructions (easy) before departing. The tour was great and Molly personalized it based on our group in terms of the breweries. Everything was outdoors and we wore masks unless actively drinking. It was a great way to be together but socially distanced and still enjoy each other. Plus, beer and friends and Molly! We'll do it again since there are so many more breweries to visit.

We experienced the Asheville Brewery Tour & it was so much fun (even though we had some drizzle & rain). Tyler was our ride guide & he had good knowledge of the bikes & the brewery area/s. He was good to slow or stop if he felt any of the group fell behind (due to stop lights, hills etc..).
The electric assist bikes were a new experience for all of us but they were very easy to ride.
Our group ride had 11 riders plus Tyler. Tyler made the rounds at each brewery to chat & make sure everything was okay. We had our own group of 5 within the 11 & had fun making new friends whom we hope we might even visit &/or travel with on our next USA excursion!
(btw we are all over 60)
This is a must for anyone wanting to experience Asheville on a bike with a guide.
If we had had a longer stay in Asheville we would’ve done another one or more of the additional tours offered.
Thank you Asheville Adventure Company!

My wife and I had an amazing time on the E-bike Brewery Crawl and the Scenic French Broad Paddle. Jordy was our tour guide for both. He is experienced, professional, and personable. He is very knowledgeable of the Asheville area and will provide tips for breweries, places to eat, and what trails are worth checking out. We followed his recommendations and very happy we did! During the tours, he is always making sure everyone is having a good time.

The E-bike Brewery Crawl was a leisurely cruise through historic parts of Asheville before we peddled to various breweries. Jordy was on point with taking safe routes from brewery to brewery. Once at a brewery, he provided beer suggestions to fit your taste or quickly looped in a server to assist in the discussion.

The Scenic French Broad Paddle was a blast. This was my wife's first time ever on a kayak and she said it was the highlight of our trip. Again, Jordy was on point with providing safe tips and tricks and showing us the best line to follow that fit our adventurous taste.

Great company with great tours and great people!

This was the second time my wife and I have done the e-bike brewery tour, and it was excellent once again. Jordy was our guide, and he did an excellent job of keeping things fun while making us feel safe. He was helpful at each brewery, telling us about his favorite beers and making recommendations for each member of the group. He also gave us restaurant recommendations. I can’t recommend this company enough. They are super professional while maintaining a relaxed and laid back demeanor.

Michaela (sp?) was our tour guide and did a fabulous job guiding our group around 3 independent breweries in Asheville. She was flexible, allowing the group to set its pace. I think you could visit more breweries in the time but it was great to be able to relax, have that second round in a couple of places. She was knowledgeable about the area and the beers!

If you haven’t tried an ebike before, as long as you’ve ridden a bike you will have no problems. The electric element essentially means the effort is the same as if you are on the flat regardless of the gradient. You do pedal, though. Lots of fun!

We had the largest group you could have - 8 - and within that a group of 5, a group of 2 and me. A fabulous option for a solo traveler, and I’m sure the beer helped :) I had a great afternoon on this tour and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.
