      Safe and fun activity
Benji was an awesome teacher for us rookies! I felt safe and really enjoyed the tour! He was flexible with the groups needs and was super fun :) I really enjoyed his “bad dad jokes” too!!!

Zooming around the city was fun, educational, and a great outdoor activity. Our guide Benji was professional, funny, and very helpful. Can’t wait to bring my teens and go again.

I was kind of skeptical at first. When I first stepped on and started rockin my buddy made me laugh so hard I was bobbing back and forth . I got the hang of it pretty good ,even after the Paul Blart cracks . Defiantly ask for Jackie she was an awesome trainer and Tour guide. If I can do it anyone can . Don’t be scared. Lots of fun. I’d do it again.

Great morning just 2 of us & our guide!
Nice morning seeing the sights of Asheville, albeit, we were a little chilly! Our guide was great and took a few pictures of us.

First time every on a Segway and a great experience!
As frequent travelers, I have noticed that most cities offer Segway tours of various sorts and I have always wanted to try it. It has been difficult to sway my husband who always wrote it off as 'tacky and touristy.' I convinced him to go with me on a Segway tour in Asheville and both of us had a great time! Scott was an absolutely terrific guide; informative and safety conscious. I think our experience was certainly helped by the fact that there was only the two of us in the group on this particular occasion, hence no fearful riders in the group to slow things down. For other potentially first timers, I encourage you to try it. I loved it! It took all of about 30 seconds to get used to riding the Segway which I found to be extremely easy, fun and intuitive. If anything, I would have liked the opportunity to simply 'let loose' and go even faster but of course I acknowledge that one has to abide by the rules of the group. A great way to experience the charm of this city and to learn about interesting historical tidbits along the way. Highly recommended!

      Bad tour guide
Our tour guide, Scott, was fine at first but got condescending as the ride went on. My fiancé and I are introverted people and he seemed to want to make us feel bad about that. Making people feel like they’re weird for not talking a lot is not a way to encourage participation - it actually discourages it. From reading the reviews, it seems like Scott being condescending is a common theme, so not sure why the company does nothing about it.

      Was A Little Nervous...
....at first. But found the Segway intuitive and easy to master. What a great way to explore the area including downtown. Would love to try this in other cities.

      Great time, great guide
We had a very fun time with Scott as our guide. He shared a lot of info about Asheville that we didn’t know. He exercised care and caution as we navigated around town. I would highly recommend this activity. Thank you, Scott, for helping to make my birthday special.

      Fun afternoon
Easy to book and easy to enjoy the tour! Highly recommend this experience. We were there for a staff outing and decided to have something memorable - it most definitely was. Scott was incredibly patient with us and was very informative.

      Fun Afternoon
Great way to see Asheville. I truly was nervous to do the tour, but wanted to try it. By the time we left the Welcome Center and I found my balance, I felt pretty confident and enjoyed the trip immensely.

      Great downtown tour
We had a wonderful time in Asheville. It was our first time visiting and thanks to Scott showing us around the city, we were able to come up with some great local places to stop in at. The segways were a lot of fun and pretty easy to get the hang of. We’d recommend the tour to anyone visiting for the first time!

      Moving Sidewalks with Scott
Touring Asheville, via segways, with our teenage grandkids was the highlight of our trip. Scott, our fearless leader, was not only knowledgeable about his town but also was at the ready when I was doubting my segwaying skills. I recommend you add this to your itinerary!

This was a great way to see Asheville.
Scott was a great guide. He knew the city very well and pointed out to us all the great restaurants and breweries. I would recommend this for anyone that wants to get to know the city ... like walking but without all the work.

My husband and I had a very short, first-time visit to Asheville, and the Segway tour was a great way to see a lot in a short period of time. We learned so much about the history, architecture and other facts about the city; our guide Scott was full of information, as well as recommendations about where to eat and what to do. He gave us a fun, safe and very enjoyable experience; we highly recommend it!

Great way to get an overview of Asheville. Scott, our guide, was very good with the orientation on how to mount/dismount and ride a Segway, 2 New riders (mid 40's) 2 with experience, (75+ ). Great skills for your next trip! The view from a Segway puts your view above the crowd and obstacles. Scott was very knowledgeable on Asheville architecture, history, food, shopping, micro breweries and most anything you might be looking for. Tour allows you to see parts of the city that would difficult get to access to and covers a larger area.
We would highly recommend this tour and would do it again.

We loved the Segways and Asheville but the guide, Scott, was absolutely horrific. He had a terrible attitude from the first to the last word he spoke. He could care less if we heard him and took the whole first hour of the “tour” to teach us how to ride. Any moron gets it within 15 minutes. One of our friends left before the tour started she was so offended by his rudeness and lack of people skills. He was condescending to people who are 20 times smarter than him! Not only was he offensive verbally but also physically, which may explain why he hates life and all who are in a good mood because they’re on vacation. If your tour guide is Scott, run for the hills.

What a perfect way to begin a Sunday morning!
My guide was right on time and quickly got down to the business of training me how to use the Segway, but not before handing me a lovely painted helmet with the words "I love my brain" on the back.
He was clear in his explanation of how the Segway works, and attentive to my skill level and readiness to get out on the road. As we moved about the city, my guide stopped to point out beautiful buildings and their architecture.
I loved sailing through downtown Ashville on my Segway, learning about the origin and growth of the city, and am ready to do it all over again.

My husband and I loved our Segway tour with Justin! He was funny and conversational, a great tour guide. He shared lots of interesting facts and details about the city and we got to see a lot more than we would have just driving or walking around town. Riding is super easy too!! I highly recommend doing a Segway tour if you’re in town!

Had a teen grandkid with me that rated this her favorite experience in Asheville. Teddy, the most “chill” out of all our tour guides, was extremely patient during her initial tentativeness. Safety was repeatedly stressed. It was an entertaining way to see both Montford and downtown while hearing about local history, landmarks and even restaurant recommendations so would highly recommend doing it early in your stay. Don’t be intimidated and pass this up. It’s really a lot of fun and there’s plenty of free parking at the location.

We've done Segway tours in 10 cities (this being #10) It was a great experience, taking us to a lot of interesting spots. A caveat is that my Segway needed some mechanical work. I reported to our guide that the handle had play in it side to side, as if something needed to be tightened. He said he had tools with him and if it became worse he'd work on it. It affected the handling, but I decided to just deal with it and ride the unit. After the tour, my husband told me that both wheels were also wobbly. The mechanical issues did negatively affect the quality of the ride.

My daughter and I decided to do a Segway tour of Asheville. Our guide, Teddy was fantastic!! He took the time to ensure we were comfortable on the Segways before taking us out and was great about making sure we were comfortable and safe the whole trip. He provided a great tour and was very knowledgeable about the history and sites of Asheville. I would definitely recommend!

Worth every penny! My family of 4 had never used Segways before, but felt like pros after a brief tutorial, and now my teens are lobbying for their own! Scott (who made us very comfortable by wearing a mask) was a terrific instructor, and gave us an informative and pun-filled tour that my teens in particular found very entertaining. We all loved viewing this beautiful city from such a unique vantage point and zipping around on these fun little machines. We walked through town afterward and all agreed that it was much better exploring on Segways!

I felt that our tour guide Scott was very patient and friendly. I felt he was COVID safe at all times. His knowledge of the area was really good. Just remember to bring water on these hot summer days. He taught a clumsy person over 50 how to feel confident to ride the segway. We also appreciated his knowledge of the area for places to visit after the tour and eat at. Thanks for a great tour and experience.
